Jesus will return to Earth and triumphantly establish His Millennial Kingdom - a new, perfect kingdom that will flourish for 1,000 years. This key teaching is woven throughout Revelation, but many people misunderstand it. Dr. Nathan Jones is working hard to address the misconceptions people have about End Times prophecy, from the prophetic signs to the promises of the future for Christians. Nathan is the director of internet outreach for Lamb and Lion Ministries. He has also written an important book unpacking the promised future: The Coming Millennial Kingdom - What Life Will Be Like for Us When Jesus Reigns on Earth. Nathan wisely encourages Christians to live out the commands of the Bible until Jesus returns and calls us home.

Hello, I'm Dr. Nathan Jones. I'm the author of The Coming Millennial Kingdom.
It's amazing how many people believe that when they die, they just go to heaven and that's that.
But the Bible prophesies that Jesus Christ is coming as a glorious king to set up his kingdom
for a thousand years, and that if we know Jesus Christ as our Savior,
then we will live in that kingdom and we will rule and reign with Jesus.
Well, folks, there's not a lot of people who know about what seemingly is a forgotten kingdom,
so I felt it on my heart to write an entire book about what life will be like during that time
period, the wonders of living under the King of Kings and Lord of Lords ruling from Jerusalem.
There's just not a lot of books on that topic, so I want to help educate Christians and get them
excited about their future. And so I've written a book, The Coming Millennial Kingdom. I hope it
changes people's lives and gets them excited about what the future has to say about living
Today on the show, we welcome Dr. Nathan Jones, media evangelist,
author, and longtime co-host of Christ in Prophecy at Lamb & Lion Ministries.
With over 25 years of experience harnessing radio, television, internet, and print to spread the
gospel, Nathan has dedicated his life to helping people know Jesus and understand Bible prophecy.
As Director of Internet Outreach, he leads global digital evangelism efforts, produces
online video content, and teaches across platforms. You guys are in for a treat.
Tina Griffin here. Welcome to another episode of the CounterCulture Mom Show.
End times prophecy, end times anything to do with the 11th hour and 59th minute that we're in is
what we're talking about this week with Dr. Nathan Jones, Director of Internet Outreach,
Evangelist for Lion and the Lamb Ministries. Nathan, where have you been all my life?
How are you doing? I am doing great.
From all of us here at Lamb & Lion Ministries, it's so good to finally meet you in person. I've
seen you online through Harpazo and some of the other platforms, and what a blessing. And I really
resonate with what you're all doing, trying to reach the next generation to live counterculturally.
And I've been in media for over 20 years, and so I know that's where you reach people today,
so God bless all you're doing. Well, you too. You're the treat that
we get to have on the program each week. I know some of the hot topics I want to talk about,
but literally I have this show because I have a lot of questions, and I know you guys have a lot
of the answers. You've been digging into the Word of God longer than me, all over the place for two
and a half decades here. A lot of people are really fired up, and honestly, this topic is probably the
first time I've done the end times prophecy topic over the Feast of Trumpets five years in a row,
where I'm a little bit nervous in recording you today because part of me is thinking,
man, reflection time here. Am I doing exactly what God's calling me to do? How much time do
we have left? There's too many people that don't have the Word of God, that don't believe in the
Lord, that are being massively deceived. And sometimes I feel like I'm running out of time,
and so much of me wants the Lord to come back, and then part of me is like, Lord, can you wait
another year or two? I'm not done yet. How do you juggle all of that, knowing that we're so
close to seeing our Lord, and knowing that there's so much work that still has to be done?
There was a famous evangelist, I think in the 1800s, and they asked him,
if you knew the Lord was coming back tomorrow, what would you do today? And he answered,
I would plant a tree. In other words, even though we know that Jesus Christ is coming back,
matter of fact, the last chapter of the Bible, Revelation 22, three times it's this important,
Jesus said, I'm coming back, I'm coming back, I'm coming back. That's an ironclad promise.
He is coming back, but in the meantime, we're supposed to live out the Great Commission,
share the gospel, get as many people saved so they can participate in the rapture of the church,
they won't have to go through the tribulation, and that's our calling.
It's so wild, because you're saying that, and I just think in my gut, like he's right around
the corner. I've been saying this for years at different events, but I was at a specific
event around seven or eight years ago, right when COVID first hit. I was in Nashville,
dear friend of mine had this event and I was speaking, and I got to some point in the middle
part of sharing about pop culture, media influence on kids and how parents have to
be discerning in the end times. And I said something to the effect of the Lord is coming
back very soon. And I heard the Holy Spirit tell me, you have no idea just how close I am.
And I had chills and I couldn't even talk for like a minute. I just like sat there shocked,
because it just a wave of urgency swept over me. So we're so close. We have it for a double
header today. I'm so excited. So today we have part one, tomorrow part two,
and you just talked about Revelation 22. These are verses 20 through 21. It says,
He which testifieth these things saith, surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so come Lord Jesus,
the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. I am just like massively feeling right
now while taping you that he is literally around the corner. This is a wild curveball
question to start with, but what is the primary reason governments exist?
Well, governments exist to provide security and peace for their people. I mean, that's why God
set up government. A lot of people think that government is a curse upon humanity. And certainly
because we're fallen as humans, government, of course, is going to be flawed as humans are as
well. But God's created government so that it wouldn't be all like the wildness before the
flood where everyone just did what was right in their own eyes. It was to provide structure and
it was to be a kind of a conduit of God's moral law. And that's why the founders of our country
believed that when government no longer served the Lord and served itself, you had the right to
overthrow that government and set up a new one. That was the justification for the Revolutionary
War, the fact that we're living in the United States today. And so yeah, God created government,
but like you, we all know even the best of governments, and I would say the United States
is probably the best government ever created in human history. It's brought the most blessings,
the most wealth, the most prosperity for its people. But even then we know it's absolutely
corrupt. I mean, look at the corruption that Doge and all these other groups are finding in
the government, the scams and the endless people breaking the law and never having to pay for it.
Well, is that going to go on forever and ever? And so that's actually a topic, Tina, that was
dear to my heart. And that's why my doctoral dissertation was into what's called the apologetic
or the problem of evil as it relates to failed human government. Are we going to have to suffer
under the failed, flawed human governments forever and ever? And I can happily say the
Bible says that. No. Okay. So should we, these are like wild, crazy questions on the top of my
head here today. Should we wait for the Lord to come back to overthrow this His way, or
do we do what you just said, or should we do what you just said, overthrow the government
with Christ in us right now? And what does overthrow look like? For me, it's like arm up
and take them down, take the bad guys down. But I mean, that possibly would land me up in prison.
So how do you see overthrowing the government today in a Christ-like fashion, which also
puts the evildoers at bay, like lock them up? You know, that must be the subject of the day
because this morning, Tim Moore, who's our director and I, we recorded a Christ in Prophecy
episode with Dr. Andy Woods about this very same topic because of the midterms coming up,
and we were talking about that. Do we overthrow a government? That's not our calling as Christians.
Our calling is to be salt and light in the world, to hold back the tide of evil as it's
coming against us, to be witnesses for Jesus Christ in the world. Now, when a government gets
so difficult, so I think of the Christians in China, for instance, so oppressive, should they
physically overthrow the government? Well, we find that with the Roman Empire, for instance,
all it took was Christianity or Christians to share the gospel, for Christianity to spread,
and then eventually that overthrew the government. So again, we're not talking here about
violent insurrection. We're talking about being a witness in the culture, sharing Christ,
expanding his influence, and through his influence and his spirit, he then pushes back the tide of
evil and keeps the balance we have today. Now, the Bible tells us that when he removes his
restraining influence through the church at the rapture, then all hell is going to break loose
on the earth, and so that's a prophecy we know is coming, too. Absolutely. You're a nicer person
than me. A lot of times over the years, I would say throw him in prison, lock him up, and then
go in and give him a Bible. So yeah, don't even get me started on Anthony Fauci. That's such a
travesty, but yeah, I'd want him to have the Bible first, absolutely. Yeah, Bible first, and like even
self-defense, my husband would say, oh, I'd take him out if he's coming after the family. I'm like,
well, I would shoot the kneecaps first, have him go down, and then just ask him one more time,
are you sure you don't want to place your faith in the Lord? And then if I have, you know,
anyway, interesting conversation for a different day. Point is, I want to give him a little extra
grace, but I don't know if you're like me, but growing up as a kid and seeing all the monstrosities
that we've seen over the years, I always would ask the Lord, can I see the bad guys go down? And it's
the wrong heart, but I always had this justice in my body and flowing through my veins. So part of
me wants to make sure that they, and try to, and pray for their salvation, but if they don't say
yes to Christ, I always want to see the bad guys go down. Am I the only one, or do you also have
like a little streak of that? No, no, no, no. You know, we look at the Lord and we say, okay,
he's perfect love, but to have perfect love, you have to have perfect justice. And that's one of
the things about the return of Jesus Christ to set up his kingdom. He is coming to defeat evil.
He will judge the world of its sins. He will bless those who have given their lives to him,
but he will also sentence to eternal fire those who've rejected him. It's the ultimate expression
of justice. If you let the people be victimized and never deal with justice, you're not loving.
And that's why it shows that God is the ultimate lover of our souls because he will bring justice.
Now he's going to let the earth continue to go as it is. We, the church, are going to pull back
the tide of evil, but at some point he's going to say, okay, that's enough. Every person saved in
this church age is saved. It's time to come home with, and then the world will experience what
Daniel prophesied, a seven-year time period of judgment coming upon the world. Worst in all of
history, just like the flood was. Theologians call it the tribulation, not our little t life
tribulations, but a time period that's called the tribulation. It's going to be nuts. All right.
We're going to our first commercial break. Can't wait to get you back in the program to talk about
when we can expect the end of human governments to occur. Obviously, probably what you just said.

For over six years, I've been sounding the alarm regarding the dangers of EMF exposure,
primarily coming from the towers that were implemented during the pandemic.
I've interviewed countless experts on the show that confirm my research.
Besides harmful 5G radiation, we are constantly bombarded with EMF exposure from Wi-Fi routers,
smartphones, laptops, smart appliances, all contributing to massive sleep issues, headaches,
fatigue, nausea, dizziness, brain fog, heart palpitations, and even increased cancer risk.
I've been using two WaveGuard devices for over six years. I have the key home,
which gives me whole home protection, and the key shield when I'm on the go. WaveGuard uses
depolarization technology to significantly reduce EMF radiation without blocking your Wi-Fi or cell
signal. Protect your family now. Use code TINA at checkout to save 20% off all devices at

Nathan, when can we expect the end of human governments to occur, when the rapture does
happen? Well, it's the beginning of the end. So, we believe the return of Jesus Christ,
the second coming as we call it, is in two phases. The first phase is where Jesus calls
his church up to be with him in the clouds. He doesn't come back to earth, but he calls his church
up to him after the seven years of tribulation, as Daniel explains. Then he will return with the
church at a second coming. He will come back to the earth. He will defeat evil, and he will set
up his kingdom of peace and righteousness and justice. And, you know, Tina, this is where some
people kind of get confused about the whole concept of the kingdom of Christ. And I think the
best theologian who ever explained it was Cotton Mather. He was a Puritan preacher, and he explained
the fourfold kingdom. It's obviously a spiritual kingdom. Jesus said this kingdom is not of this
world. It's because he's bringing souls to him. We know that God is providential, the second fold.
In other words, he's sovereign over all. And then he established the third fold, his ecclesiastical
fold. It's a fancy word for the church, where he rules and reigns through the church over the
earth currently. But he made a promise to David, we see in 2 Samuel 7. He said,
I will set up your seat after you, David, and I will establish the throne of his, the Messiah's
kingdom, forever. And so the fourth fold is the Davidic kingdom, where Jesus rules and reigns
physically over this earth for a thousand years and then on into eternity. So that's the kingdom
we're looking for. That's the justice we're looking for. But the Lord also said that he would
give us signs that would point to his soon return. He said they'd increase in frequency,
intensity, like birth pains the closer we got, a rise in natural disasters, collapses of societies,
fearful events economically, in the sky, socially, a degradation of humanity. Matter of fact, we can
go to 1 Timothy and go to chapter 4, and we learn that in the end times, that we can identify the
end times because people will depart from the faith and they'll give heed to deceiving spirits
and doctrines of demons. In 2 Timothy 3, he also said in the end times, we can identify because
people will be lovers of themselves. They'll be narcissists. They'll be obsessed with pleasure
and also be nihilistic because it doesn't give them any true worth in life. It says they have
the form of godliness, but they deny its power. And I think you got to admit, Tina, that we are
at that stage. So my first question is, and it's interesting you said Harpazo. I know we both have
a program on that platform. I love those people. Fantastic work that they're doing for Harpazo
TV platform. Check it out. I'll have the link in the show notes, everybody, if you want to
click on it and watch the programming on there. Very biblical-based content with Harpazo.
But Harpazo means a quick snatching, rapture. And so as a kid and up until about a year ago,
I would think of rapture as all the pictures you see drawn all over the place, how pastors
would describe it. You're floating up in the air, meeting the Lord. Yes, he doesn't come down
physically to the earth, but we meet him up in the air after the dead in Christ shall rise first.
So I always had this picture of floating in the air gracefully as people are screaming on, you
know, the face of the earth and planes going down and accidents on the highway and everything,
clothes just being left in a pile on the floor because now we're gone. However, I had a dear
close friend of mine about a year ago came over for steak, steak dinner here, neighbor down the
street. And he's like, Tina, I got to tell you about the rapture, Harpazo, quick snatching. I'm
like, where in the world is this coming from? We're talking about something completely different.
He just like dropped this bomb in the middle of our dinner conversation. And he goes, Harpazo
means quick snatching, a violent, loving, but violent, quick grabbing of believers just before
catastrophic events occur. And I had chills down my spine. So I started looking up more and more
information on the great and terrible day of the Lord, great as in rapture, terrible as in wrath
day of the Lord. And all of a sudden just light bulbs went off. So what are your thoughts about
the rapture itself? No, it's not the floating angelic looking pictures we've seen painted.
I see it as God last second saying, your job is done. Let's get you out of here before all
hell breaks loose. That's what I think is going to happen. What are your thoughts on that?
Yeah, it's got the feeling of you see someone crossing the street and a bus is bearing down
on them and you quick grab them, you snatch them, you catch them away before the bus hits them, you
rescue them from imminent danger. The rapture is a very hotly debated topic now because people
don't actually, unfortunately, go to the Bible. In fact, my next book, which will come out from
Harvest House next year, is called, What Does the Bible Really Say About the Rapture? I answer 150
questions related to the rapture of the church. And the first one always is, well, where do I
find the rapture in the Bible? And I point people to 1 Thessalonians 4, verse 15, and it says,
15 For this we say to you, by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and reign
until the coming of the Lord will no bybeads precede those who are asleep, in other words,
dead. For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an
archangel, the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive
and reign shall be caught up, there it is, rapture, caught up together with them in the
clouds to meet the Lord with the air, and thus we shall always be with the Lord. And what's it
supposed to give us? It says, therefore comfort one another with these words. Now, it says caught
up, and we say rapture. Well, harpazo, like you said, is the Hebrew word. It means caught up,
same thing as like we're saying. But when the Bible was translated into Latin, and the Latin
Vulgate was the only Bible for 1,100 years, it was rapio. Well, when then the Bible was translated
to English, rapio was transliterated into the word rapture. So there are some versions of the Bible
where they left the word rapture in there, but others translate it as caught up. So the word
rapture is definitely, matter of fact, the word rapture can be found 14 times in the New Testament.
But this is the one main time, and this is what it's talking about, the end of the church age
from Pentecost, which it began, to the rapture. The Lord will come, and he will gather both the dead
and alive in Christ up to him. We'll get our glorified bodies, and we will live with the Lord
forever. Here are seven signs you may have a parasite. My biggest issue, because I did have

The Counterculture Ministries team put our heads together and created the Pop Culture Purge Tour.
This event can be a half-a-day, full-day, or two-day event loaded with eye-opening,

mainstream media madness. Another woman who's a mother of nine and business owner talking about
the education indoctrination. An ex-alcoholic and people pleaser, My Dear Husband, who's talking

advertising and people are talking about and it's glamorized in media, which you just talked about,
Eventually, all kingdoms, all powers, all authorities will be put under the feet of
Jesus. That's one of the prophecies. Man can worship themselves and elevate themselves,
but even the end, the greatest king in the earth, and the Bible said was King Nebuchadnezzar,
and even he was humbled and lived like an animal in the wild until he finally repented.
I think the Lord is using Donald Trump mightily in this time. I think Trump knows that for a fact,
but human ego certainly gets in the way. God bless him. I hope he's saved and I
hope we see him in heaven forever. Everybody out there, check out the
phenomenal book that Nathan wrote. It's called The Coming Millennial Kingdom,
What Life Will Be Like for Us When Jesus Reigns on the Earth. Five star on Amazon,

in your relationship with Jesus Christ and understand his great prophetic word.
One thing, everybody, you can go to lamblion.com, Lamb & Lion Ministries right here. We can donate
to your cause. If we'd like to donate and come alongside you with partnership, what will those
funds help you do? We have a wonderful Prophecy Partner Program. We couldn't do this ministry
