👩🍳 Instructions: Coat the pork tenderloin generously with meat tenderizer, onion powder, thyme, BeSureToCook Seasoning Blend, and zesty herb seasoning. Drizzle with olive oil and mix in the hot pepper paste until evenly coated. Place on a lightly sprayed rack and marinate for about 3 hours. Bake at 350°F for approximately 25 minutes per pound (about 45 minutes for a smaller tenderloin), then let rest before slicing thin. Slice the Cuban bread lengthwise and remove a little of the soft interior to make room for the fillings. Spread mustard on both sides of the bread. Layer Swiss cheese, sliced roast pork, smoked ham, kosher pickles, and more Swiss cheese. Close the sandwich and brush the outside with melted butter. Grill in a panini press until golden brown, crispy, and the cheese is melted. Slice, serve hot, and enjoy your homemade Cuban sandwich.

This video provides a step-by-step guide to creating an authentic homemade Cuban sandwich from scratch. The process covers everything from marinating and roasting a flavorful pork tenderloin to assembling the sandwich with traditional ingredients and pressing it to a crispy, cheesy finish.
Today, we're making a homemade Cuban sandwich, completely from scratch, including a juicy
roast pork tenderloin that's packed with flavor.
If you've never had a real Cuban sandwich, you're in for a treat.
This one's crispy, cheesy, and absolutely loaded with deliciousness.
So stay tuned and let's do this.
Okay, I have my pork tenderloin.
It's one all together, but I guess they sliced it in half because when it came, it came together
like a whole one.
I got a big bowl that I'm going to put my pork tenderloin in.
I want my tenderloin even tenderer than I know it says tenderloin, but sometimes it
can be a little tough.
I'm using some non-salt meat tenderizer.
You can get the ones that have salt on it.
I choose not to.
And you want to generously put a lot of meat tenderizer on your meat here and you want
to rub it in.
Okay, I got a little onion powder I'm going to put on here.
Okay, I got a little thyme here.
Last but not least, it is be sure to season seasoning blend.
We're going to use a little bit of that.
So we're going to sprinkle some be sure to season seasoning blend and you want to do
it the same way.
You want to rub this just like you did the meat.
All right, I'm going to rub that in.
It already smells good, but we got to keep going because we really want this to pop out
in the oven and we want the smells to be phenomenal.
Okay, so I've got some zesty herb blend from Grill Master.
I'm going to sprinkle a little bit of seasoning mix.
Ooh, yes, all over this.
Okay, guess what guys?
I got a little olive oil.
I'm going to put about two teaspoons of olive oil all over this to make it, yeah, because
the powder mix was kind of dry and it was clumping it up.
So let's add some olive oil to this.
Okay, I got me some hot pepper paste.
I'm going to use about a teaspoon, maybe a tablespoon.
You can use a teaspoon or a tablespoon.
So this right here, since I've got two, I'm using a teaspoon, a tablespoon because two
teaspoons are a tablespoon.
So I got two of them, that's why I'm using so much, but you just want to use about a
tablespoon.
Okay, I got a little rack here, a cooking rack.
I'm just going to spray a little nonstick spray on it because I don't want it to stick
and I'm going to stick it on the rack here and I'm going to let this marinate.
Okay, it has been marinating for about three hours.
I got it for 350 degrees.
For me, it's 45 minutes, but don't forget guys, your every pork loin is different pounds.
So it's 25 minutes per pound.
Okay, guys, this is the pork loin that has been resting for a while.
Okay, so on this pork loin, I want to make thin slices and I'm holding them together
because they are two here.
Okay, now it's time to make our sandwiches.
So we have our pork that we had sliced it up really thin.
We have some ham that I got sliced up at a deli.
This ham is a smoked ham, so it's a really great flavor.
And then we went off and we got our pickles that I got a really great pickle.
I got them at the deli where you can get the pickles fresh at the deli.
This is a kosher pickle.
I love it.
And then we have our baby Swiss cheese.
So we went and we got the original bun that goes to this and this is a Cuban bread.
So we got our Cuban bread.
We're going to cut this open.
I like this bread.
I'm going to dig some of this out to make a hole.
Like, because if I dig some of the bread out, then I don't have to have all that fluffiness
and I can lay all my meat and everything inside of the bread.
I got me some mustard that I'm going to lay in here.
And I'm using, you can use what kind of mustard you have available on you.
They got all different types of mustard.
And I got me a, I'm spreading it onto my sandwich here on both sides.
Because this is going to make it really good.
Okay.
I got my baby Swiss cheese.
I like baby Swiss.
It's so delicious.
I'm going to cut this in half because I'm going to lay one half down and the other half down.
And I like a lot of Swiss cheese and I'm going to do two slices and I'm going to cut them
so they can fit right into my bun.
I'm laying both of those down.
Okay.
And at the bottom, I'm going to start putting my pork on here.
Oh, I've already sliced this.
This is going to be so delicious.
Okay.
Here's a big slice of my ham that I have.
And make sure your ham is like smoked.
You want good smoked ham.
Okay.
I got my pickles that I got.
These are fresh pickles.
I'm going to slice me some pickles here.
This is what I like about my sandwich because I get those fresh pickles.
You can get into the deli.
Okay.
Then you take your pickles and I'm going to put my pickles down on mine.
Okay.
I'm going to add some more cheese right here with the pickles.
And I'm going to take this and this is my sandwich.
Put it together.
And here it is.
This is the original Cuban sandwich.
Okay.
I melted a little butter and I'm just going to put this butter on my bread.
Okay.
I got my nice panini press all nice and hot and it's ready.
He told me it's ready.
I'm going to put it in on my panini press and I'm going to close this.
And here we go.
We're going to close it.
Oops.
All right.
We're going to take this out.
This is a wonderful, wonderful sandwich.
Get a hold of it.
Come on.
Get a hold of it.
Yes.
I'm going to put it right here on a wonderful plate.
All right.
We're going to slide it off the plate.
Look at that cheese.
All right.
This is so hot.
Okay.
And here it is.
The Cuban original sandwich.
