We are in full prep mode today because we leave for our fall camping trip tomorrow. The best news ever is that Kira is feeling a whole heck of a lot better. The medicine the vet gave her for her tweaked back is working perfectly to take that inflammation down. We still have to make sure she does not run full speed or jump in and out of the Jeep, but I am so relieved she is healing up just in time for us to hit the road and sleep in the RV.

Before we totally exhaust ourselves packing the camper and groceries, Jamie and I took a quick morning trip over to the Atlanta Elk Festival in Atlanta Michigan. We love checking out all the cool booths, checking on our family cabin, and looking at all the amazing fall colors. We even walked right past the exact gazebo on the river where Jamie and I got married! It brought back so many amazing memories. If you did not know, we both grew up spending tons of time in Atlanta, so it is a super special place for us.

Once we got back home, it was time to kick it into high gear and pack up the RV. I shared a great tip for anyone who loves RV camping, make sure you turn your camper refrigerator on the night before you leave so it has plenty of time to get cold! I also made a delicious beef pot roast in the Insta Pot for dinner, which you can see over on our Snow Dogs Cooking channel. Now it is time to finish packing, snuggle with Eleanor and Kira, and get some sleep. Life is short, Make memories with your dogs!
