Good morning. I decided to do a review of my home plants and choose the plumeria.
Home plumeria, but interesting species and varieties,
rarely seen and such plants that should not cause you problems.
I hope you will get to know new, interesting species of plants,
which you may want to buy to increase your green group.
Enjoy watching.
Its name is a bit of a tongue twister.
Philodendron Campos Portoanum.
On the positions visible, bright, with scattered light.
Young leaves are a bit like the shape of a climbing philodendron or a mikansa philodendron.
Such a characteristic leaf for philodendrons.
When a plant climbs, it produces larger and larger leaves,
and as they grow, their shape begins to change.
Juicy green leaves, covered as if with velvet.
As for the philodendron, we plant it in the ground, in bigos,
in the ground specially prepared for plants from the plant family.
That is, in the same substrate as, for example, monsters or other philodendrons.
As a reminder, these plants are watered when the substrate in the depth of the pot is almost dry.
Another leaf is a philodendron Melanochrysum.
My seedling is not too big, but grown from one leaf.
It has similar requirements as the previous philodendron,
but because the leaves are darker, contain less chlorophyll,
they require a little more light.
Its leaves are also velvety, shiny in light, covered as if with a delicate brocade.
In my opinion, one of the most elegant philodendrons.
As it grows, when it climbs on the substrates, it produces larger and larger leaves,
elongated, dark, fleshy.
The third leaf is a philodendron Mikans.
Its leaves also look as if they were covered with velvet.
The shape of the leaf is characteristic of young philodendron leaves.
It is one of the fastest growing philodendrons,
but unfortunately its seedlings are quite long and difficult to root.
Because its leaves are slightly darker than standard green leaves,
it requires a little more light from other plants to be able to produce larger leaves.
But to produce larger leaves, it requires support.
As it grows, its leaves may simply be larger, but they do not change their shape significantly.
Formerly popular, now a little less common philodendron,
growing very fast.
The positions are visible, bright, with diluted light.
We run it on the substrates.
It is not too demanding.
We water it when the substrate is deep in the pot, it does not dry out.
When we dry it from time to time, nothing bigger will happen to it.
This is what a young philodendron looks like.
As it grows, the shape of the leaf changes slightly.
Its leaves are fleshy and shiny.
Provided that we clean it from dust.
I obviously have to wash mine.
Another, in my opinion, very interesting philodendron is Epipremum pinnatum.
It grows fast, but requires support.
When it grows on the substrate, its leaves change shape.
This is what a mature adult leaf looks like.
Its seedlings root very easily and quickly.
As for Epipremum pinnatum.
It has the same requirements as the classic Epipremum.
Golden, should not cause you any problems.
Another very interesting philodendron,
with shiny, thick, fleshy leaves,
which, with growth, also change their shape,
is Raphidophora decursiva.
This plant can also be found under the name of Monstera decursiva or Philodendron decursiva.
It is differently called a philodendron or monster,
because they are commercial names.
It just sells better under such names.
It requires a little more light than a monster and a philodendron.
When it lacks light, it can produce elongated, leafless stalks.
It is a plant that grows much slower than previously presented.
When Raphidophora grows, it produces larger and larger cut leaves.
And this is what a mature leaf looks like.
Monsters could not be missing in the set.
Monsters. Monstera standleyana variegata.
Commonly called the cobra monster,
we can also find it under the commercial name of the cobra philodendron.
It's the same plant.
It grows quite fast, but just like in the case of Raphidophora decursiva,
lack of light, too intense fertilization,
when there is no light plant,
can produce leafless, elongated stalks.
Along with the growth and maturity of the plant,
it does not change the shape of its leaves, but it has constant variegation.
Leaves appear less or more discolored.
I think this plant is perfect for people who like colorful leaves.
As for the monster, it has similar requirements as philodendrons and other monsters.
You often wonder how many days to water it.
Not how many days, but when.
We water it when I put it deep in the pot.
Another monster in this set.
Monstera siltepicana.
I do not know if I pronounce this name well.
It is a monster that has not only interestingly discolored leaves,
and this discoloration is constant,
it produces holes along with the growth and maturity of the plant.
My seedling is not very beautiful,
but grown from one leaf.
It grows quite fast, but to produce more and more leaves,
it must have a well-lit position,
visible, bright, with a lot of light.
And you have to lead it after the support.
Why is the trunk of my plant covered with moss?
The viewers know well about it.
I will tell you more another time.
This monster has similar requirements as the previous plants on this list.
I decided to add philodendrons to this set.
Hoia carnosa.
Because it grows quite untypically,
a little different from previous plants.
Hoia carnosa produces long shoots
that wrap around the support.
In addition, the shoots produce roots,
which allow the plant to cling to the support.
This plant is the easiest to grow from the whole set.
However, it requires a little more light for it to bloom.
It requires a light substrate,
well permeable to water,
such a substrate that does not accumulate too much moisture in it
and not too long.
We water it when the substrate is completely dry,
i.e. the plant is perfect for forget-me-nots.
We can run the plant on various grids, circles,
as the imagination tells us.
All presented plants of the trunk,
to produce larger and larger leaves,
or with holes to be cut,
it is worth running on some sticks, supports.
But we can make the sticks and supports ourselves.
And once I recorded a vlog
where I show how we can make such supports.
So I invite you to watch.
In the meantime, let the greens greet you.
