Hello, I'm Beata Wach from Ogrodowe Skarby.
In today's video I would like to show you
pine trees grafted on the trunk.
They will be higher and lower forms
for small gardens, but not only.
I invite you warmly.
So let's go with this topic.
The first plant, pine trees grafted on the trunk.
Pine trees in various varieties
and in various places grafted.
They can be these thin, they can be medium,
but I also saw some pretty cool,
showy, so on the discount,
as such a winter green ball,
it will look pretty cool.
It is worth paying attention to
what variety it is.
There are varieties that grow very nicely,
densely, compactly, but there are also
varieties that have quite a large growth
and then, around May,
it is necessary to prune this growth.
I listen, I shorten it a lot,
because I shorten
two thirds of this growth.
So I keep my pine trees
in the roots,
just because of this pruning
growth. Another plant,
clones. Clones
also in various varieties
grafted on the trunk.
Beautiful spherical forms.
Here, listen,
I have a clone that is already slowly
dropping leaves. However,
there are clones that do not need to be pruned
and they have a nice crown,
so spherical.
Here I have to cut
because these buds that
grow, because they are even three and a half
meters long,
they are directed very much like this
upwards, so it would be
such a nice
form. That's why I take care of it
and also cut it so that the clone
is in a spherical form.
Another plant, or more
here I would like to draw attention
to the whole group,
i.e. alatui,
which are guided in the form
of such a ball.
Such, listen, plants
we can lead ourselves
from a small one, we cut
everything, we cut it at the
appropriate height,
we allow this plant to
grow here. Of course, we remove everything
that does not suit us here.
Diverse
invertebrates in various colors,
either green or yellow,
can be found in schools and can be
purchased. There are even some
interesting forms that
there are quite a lot of these balls.
So this is another
recommendation, we go further.
Tuya, cypress and all
other plants that
we throw into a bag
called tuya,
we can lead to one
ball, to two balls.
Here, listen, I had such a bush
that grew
down, it covered me
very much here,
so I decided that I would cut it.
And when I cut it, it turned out
that it pulled out such a nice bat,
which I caught here
to the stick
and I led the second ball,
which is already higher. Well, I won't be
higher anymore, because I don't want to
run from the ladder and cut it,
but remember that
from each such plant,
ala tuya, you can
carve something here.
Whether it's one ball or two balls,
it depends on what you like
and how your imagination will carry you.
On my puzzle box
grows a beautiful
Umbraculifera cherry.
It is a decorative cherry,
which in spring has
such nice little flowers,
and then it's just, see,
the green tree slowly
begins to discolor.
Well, we have autumn, the leaves must look beautiful
and autumn.
It is a variety of decorative cherry,
which without any cutting
grows just in such a ball form.
I highly recommend it to you.
He likes
a little bit of this moisture,
however, to be in the substrate,
so that the leaves do not fall
from the bottom,
because then we have a bald spot from the bottom,
and then there is
its crown.
Another plant,
the mulberry, the mulberry
grafted on the trunk. This mulberry
was very low, because
he had a graft here
and this is more or less,
well, let's say, let it be this meter.
How did I make
the mulberry so tall?
Well, listen, nothing easier.
Just take one trunk. See, they are very
flexible. I led it up,
I gave a stick,
I cut everything from the bottom,
I cut it out and
it did
that here
we have a huge
trunk that holds
the whole crown of this
mulberry. Mulberry is
beautiful. See, it slowly
turns yellow.
Well, the only downside is that these needles
fall in the winter,
so we have such dry
bark on the trunk.
However, it moves quite quickly,
and it also has cones that we can
use, for example, for some
Christmas trees.
So this is also a very nice plant.
Under my balcony
in the crates there are
beech trees. It is also beech
in the foam form.
I will not really recommend
beech here because
the beech
does not sleep.
Listen, I don't have
beech in my garden,
but the growth of shoots,
the mushroom growth of shoots
has appeared, so I slowly
go down from the beech
and buy
some beech and
exchange all my balls.
Come here, my star, where are you?
Krakersik, you were dear,
you had to come here, say hello,
right? Listen, these cats
are always watching.
I have three of my own, three
extra ones that come,
so there is always
a cat in some section,
either mine or the neighbor's,
depending on which one
he finds, which one has more
frost on the glass.
Horsetail, which is wintergreen
and also occurs in different
shades, through yellow
with green, white
with green, more white,
more green, so there are quite a
lot of these varieties.
It is a wintergreen plant, it can
also be grafted at different heights.
We can cut it.
Here you can see that the balls
are already quite large.
I will try to reduce them
We'll see how it goes.
The plant is very nice,
it bears the cut very well.
A plant that has
a lot of flowers. These flowers
are not so mega visible
and decorative, but they are.
I don't know about you, but
I have a lot of these big
flies, the so-called spit.
He sits on these beech trees.
I will tell you that I am nervous
when he walks by and
shakes it like that.
I don't know how many of them
can be on one spruce.
Now in the form of autumn,
it has very nice fruits,
so the flowering time
is not very interesting.
However, now that these
fruits are already nicely colored,
nicely visible, it looks
pretty nice.
In the last episode,
I showed you the cherry.
It was a review of the variety
in the garden treasures,
what cherries grow for me.
Here we have a decorative cherry,
Kikushidare Sakura.
It is also a grafted form,
it grows very nicely.
See that it points
upwards, but then there will be
such a mega cool umbrella
with it, so also an interesting plant.
It needs a little space when it comes
to the diameter of the crown.
I saw such a specimen,
it is almost 30 years old,
it is beautiful,
but also huge.
Huge in its width.
Of course, we can cut something there,
we can do something here,
for example, here I will have to
cut this branch,
but after flowering.
Now, of course, it's too late,
we don't cut it, and all the plants
that will bloom in spring,
remember, we always cut
just after they bloom.
Another tree,
but unfortunately without leaves.
It is Ginko Biloba,
Japanese lovebird,
which unfortunately did not have time
to even discolor, and this is a huge
minus of these plants.
The frost has come,
it doesn't have to be,
it is not known how big
and the leaves have fallen,
so here we have a Japanese lovebird
in a leafless form.
We can buy
such Japanese lovebirds,
grafted also at different heights,
but it is usually the case
with all plants.
However, here I have Forsythia,
and this Forsythia is absolutely
not grafted, it is a form
derived from an ordinary bush.
In this way you can
bring out the buds,
I have Forsythia here,
I brought out this Calina,
Hortensia,
so there is a range
of such bushes,
which, so that they do not
take up a lot of space,
it is in the foam form
I lead in my garden,
and I will always recommend it to you.
Bringing out the foam form
from an ordinary bush is
so interesting and cool
that at the bottom
we have a place to plant something else,
but look, Forsythia
could be a big bush,
and I didn't want that here,
that's why it was brought out.
It's not perfect,
listen, it's sometimes
crooked somewhere,
but try,
we don't always have to buy
ready-made plants,
sometimes we can work
two or three seasons
and it will be a nice stiff plant
with a crown on top.
Another plant is
Herculean heron.
I have a heron
planted in a pot,
it is a non-heated pot
and this heron
is already growing for the fourth season
in one pot.
I should probably change the soil,
but I can still do it.
I'm changing the top,
like a one-year-old flower.
And what?
And I will tell you that it is wintering,
I can do it, I cut it short,
see that there is no
growth, because it is a heron
that was cut in the spring,
so this growth is really
minimal and it is probably
caused by the fact that this soil
is not so
enriched in
ingredients that would allow
the heron to grow.
Just remember that herons
like moist soil,
so we pour water
so that such a heron
develops nicely.
Next to it, because you may
ask, I have a clone here
on both sides,
these are palm clones,
which are also growing for the
third season in pots
and they are also doing well.
I winter them in such a way that I push
them under the wall of the house
and they stand and wait until spring
to be able to leave
on these pots,
because the pots have a circle from the bottom,
so I also recommend it to you,
it is such a heavy pot
that we do not have to lift
when it has a circle.
Heron on a stump.
There are various varieties of herons,
some throw leaves,
some are winter green,
in spring it is sprinkled with flowers,
at this moment it is sprinkled
with red beads.
A very nice plant,
has small requirements,
here, listen, there is a cover,
so there is as much water
as I brought here,
so it really is not light,
and it grows very nicely,
the third year in this place,
the increases are not too big,
but it is worth knowing that
the heron is a plant that
bears the cut very well,
so if there is something
too much here, you can cut it,
it will thicken nicely,
so the heron on a stump,
a beautiful plant, also for pots.
The last plant I want to
introduce you to is the god of the
Commonwealth, pendula,
that's what it said when I bought it.
This is a plant that has
beautiful border leaves,
so cool, quite dark,
and slowly, of course, you can see
that they are already starting to discolor.
Unfortunately, it is not possible
to bring out a beech,
like a birch,
a birch is flexible,
and from these shoots
we can bring it up nicely,
catch it to the stake
and we can lead such a plant
higher.
Here I tried twice,
but the beech is too short
and unfortunately I did not manage
to bring the beech out
in the form of such a foam
a little higher.
This is also such a recommendation,
it is a variety of pendula,
i.e. all the branches go down.
Of course, I cut a little from the bottom,
because here I have different
plantings, but of course
you don't have to cut
here from the bottom,
these shoots can go all the way
to the ground,
it depends on what you like.
And in this colorful
autumn place I end today's episode.
I hope that my recommendations
will be useful to you.
Remember that most of these plants
that I presented to you
can also grow in pots,
on terraces, such as beech,
beech, birch,
some clones
can grow
on terraces, in pots.
Remember that the pot should be
quite large, let's water it.
Of course, the plants will not
grow as fast as in the ground,
because they have a limitation,
but they will be able to enjoy us
for the next few years.
Thank you very much for watching,
for being here, visiting the Garden Treasures
and writing me such nice comments.
Thank you very much for today,
see you in the next video.
