Taking advantage of the fact that I've been spending a lot of time in this garden lately,
which may be associated with previous films,
I decided to show you the beautiful bushes that grow here.
I hope the film will inspire you.
What a beautiful beehive!
This is a beehive, or more precisely a Black Lace beehive, in the Ewa variety.
It comes from England, where it was acquired during the work of farmers
on fruit varieties of this species.
It is quite a large bush, which can reach from 3 to 4 meters in height.
It has a wide, loose and irregular cut.
As we can see, it has unusual, very deeply cut leaves,
which are a bit like exotic varieties of the palm tree.
It grows best in sunny locations.
In the shaded ones, it loses its dark coloration of the leaves.
When it lacks light, its leaves begin to turn slightly green.
It requires the soil of meadows, preferably fertile or sandstone and constantly humid.
Blossoming begins more or less at the beginning of June,
and it blooms for about 2-3 weeks.
It has beautiful, roof-covered flowers,
which resemble flowers of wildly growing Black Lace.
When the flower is in full bloom, it is pink.
When it develops, it begins to lose its color and takes on the color of pale pink.
Flowers attract butterflies to the garden
and have a delicate, pleasant, slightly citrusy smell.
The fruits of this Lace, as well as of the wildly growing Black Lace,
are edible after processing and have healing properties.
This is Lilac, commonly called Lace.
It smells amazing.
Lilac mayera palibin is a miniature variety of lilac with purple-pink flowers.
It blooms, as usual, like other lilacs, in the second half of May.
But what distinguishes this lilac is that it can repeat its bloom in August.
This bloom is not as abundant as in May.
It is a universal shrub.
It will do very well in various soil positions,
because it is not a demanding plant.
It grows well on sandy and clay soils.
Planted in the slightly shaded nooks of the garden, it will bloom a little weaker.
This shrub stands out for its beautiful, compact cut.
In addition, the plant itself likes to cut.
Thanks to this, it thickens nicely.
As we can see, the plant attracts butterflies to the garden.
I will not introduce you to Hortensia,
but I definitely have to show you Lace.
Beautiful.
If I had to name the five most beautifully discoloring autumn plants,
Lace would take first place.
Lace is commonly called a burning bush.
Its autumn color is indescribable.
In addition to beautiful, red, red-purple leaves in autumn,
the decoration of this plant is also shoots covered with cork.
Lace is a shrub that grows up to 2-3 meters,
but it has a beautiful compact and fairly regular cut.
For Lace, it is recommended to have sunny or slightly shaded positions.
This shrub is not very demanding when it comes to soil.
The optimal soil for this plant is soil rich, fertile and limestone.
Lace is completely frost-resistant.
This one is about 10 years old.
I will not tell you about these shrubs and Hortensia,
although there is one interesting Hortensia here, which I will show you in a moment.
If you like Hortensia,
I don't think there should be a shortage of Lace Hortensia in your garden.
Unfortunately, it is a Hortensia that grows much slower than Garden or Bouquet Hortensia.
For such beautiful leaves, which beautifully change color in autumn,
I think it is worth weighing its planting.
A lot of interesting beautiful Hortensias grow in this garden.
The first Hortensia in this set is Hortensia Hordovina Variegata.
It is a rare and rarely planted shrub in our gardens,
and it is an easy variety in cultivation, frost-resistant,
periodic dry and pollination.
It grows best on limestone soils,
In too dark nooks of our garden, it will not have such beautifully colored leaves.
It is a dense, compact shrub, but with an irregular cut.
Kalina Hordovina Variegata stands out above all
with beautiful oval leaves with a slight dent on the edge,
which have light green colors with irregular creamy yellow spots.
During flowering, the plant is even more decorative.
Flowers appear in May.
They are small, white, collected in a flat, spherical,
plentiful flower bed, where, in autumn,
equally attractive fruit beds appear.
Fruits are initially red, and then turn black.
Another kalina that I would like to present to you
is a rarely found Kalina Hordovina Variegata,
which comes from central and western China.
What distinguishes this plant from others?
Big, stiff and winter-green leaves.
The leaves are about 15-20 cm long.
From the bottom, they are covered with a woolly kutner.
In winter, during frost, the leaves roll into tubes,
just like rosemary leaves.
In May, small, creamy white flowers develop,
collected in wide and flat baldachia,
with a diameter of 10-20 cm.
In our climate, it grows to about 3 m in height.
For a winter-green plant,
it needs to be sheltered from the wind,
quiet and preferably semi-shade.
The soil should be fertile, fresh and constantly humid.
Stiff, leafy Kalina bears long-lasting drought
and strong frosts.
Another beautiful Kalina that is worth looking at
is the Japanese Kalina.
It occurs naturally in China, Taiwan and Japan.
The plant usually reaches 1.5-2 m in height,
but it is usually wider than higher.
As you can see, it has beautiful flowers,
collected in large, flat baldachia.
Kalina can bloom twice,
the first time in May,
then at the end of summer.
In autumn, it produces red fruits,
just like the previous Kalina,
which change color to black as they mature.
Unfortunately, this plant has poor frost resistance,
so it is best to plant it in sunny,
warm and sheltered places from the wind.
In the first years after planting,
it is worth sheltering the plant for the winter.
In addition, plow the ground near the trunk.
The optimal soil for this plant is fertile,
fertile and slightly humid,
with a slightly acidic effect.
During long-term droughts,
the plant requires watering,
because it cannot stand the lack of water.
Another very interesting plant in this garden
is the Pagoda Dereń,
which is classified as a low tree
or a tall, sprawling bush.
In our conditions, it usually grows to 3-3.5 m.
The characteristic feature of this Dereń
and its great decoration
is the growing level of branches,
hence its name.
In the spring and early summer,
they are sprinkled with gently fragrant,
creamy, white, star flowers
collected in flat boulders.
The flowers have a diameter of about 10-15 cm.
After blooming, small, dark pomegranate fruits
with a diameter of about 6 mm appear.
In the cosmetic industry,
fruit oil is used,
e.g. for the production of soap.
On the other hand, leaves in Chinese folk medicine
are used to produce compounds
that reduce puffiness and wrinkles.
It requires warm, sunny,
sheltered from the cold winds.
It requires a moist, fragrant soil
with a neutral or slightly acidic odor.
In the first years after planting,
regular watering of this plant is very important.
We cannot allow it to dry out.
It is also important to protect the plant for the winter.
Okay, I'm going to plant a plant,
and if you put your thumb up under the video,
I will be pleased.
Enjoy your work in the garden.
Regards.
