Cam Scattabo Out: Devin Singletary Takes Over Week 9

That's not a good sign, by the way, for Cam Scadaboo to be out. I was not even aware that that was a possibility, Joe. But weren't the Giants off last week? Isn't this a bye-bye? Am I crazy? What happened was, on that great finish to that game against the Texans two weeks ago, at that very last big run that Scadaboo had, you could see he kind of pulled up a little hamstring injury. He kind of got pulled down there, and he kind of came up a little lame, and he kind of gingerly jogged off the field. But by then, the game was in tow and already in check. There was a lot of speculation that that hamstring injury was significant enough that it could put his week nine in danger. And now officially it has, which means it's a Devin Singletary show and some guy that I've never heard of who is now the RB2. So look for a lot of Singletary and also probably a lot of JJ McCarthy running the football too. I'd imagine some designed runs for JJ. He moves around very well. I think you're going to see just a lot of clever usage here. And I think JJ McCarthy, maybe also by need. You might look at the attempts numbers for him, I think they're going to have to throw the football a little bit more than they want to maybe today against Eagles, which again, puts it puts that ball in play a little bit more for the Eagles, which means turnovers are possible, which means I think the Eagles have a puncher's chance in this one.
