Meanwhile, credit to the Lions last week.
Wow, what a big win for them against the Vikings.
Playing the Vikings game and beating them at their own game.
I did not see that happening.
And so going into today, you got
to make them big favorites against Miami.
Because while Miami, let's keep it real,
has done a great job covering spreads,
a lot of these are back doors.
Back doors against Washington, back doors against New England.
And Miami was just thoroughly outplayed by New England
in the second half of last week's game.
But the fact that they kept it close
to the first half gave them that opportunity to score late.
And their ATS record, pretty solid overall.
Joe, the Dolphins are not going to win
more than another one or two games.
I mean, we know that at this point.
And by the way, the Lions are probably
not as good as their record indicates, too.
But I suspect a beautiful weather today here in South Florida.
Maybe some points coming in this game.
50 and a half.
I don't think that's all going to be Detroit.
I think Miami is going to score some, too.
But boy, watching the Dolphins in the second half
of last week's game, I can't get behind
them this week, but I'm not going to lay six
and a half with Detroit either.
And I wonder if last week's game for Detroit
is a little bit of a residual to this week's
game.
I wonder about that too.
So interesting game that I'll watch.
It could be. And Jared Goff out there on the road,
even in good weather, is still
not the same guy as he is indoors.
However, I do like his passing prop today on the over 261.5.
He has only two weeks where he hasn't gone over that.
Week one, which again, you can kind of
throw out. And then last week against
the Minnesota Vikings defense, and we know how
ferocious and how aggressive that unit is.
So I really like him working this week with a healthy
Amon-Ra St. Brown is going to play in this game.
And also Jameson Williams, who's getting
involved in a different way. You know,
Jamo has always been in the past, that big play guy.
But Drew Penzig is using him a little bit more
in the red zone this year now. And all of a sudden
his role is starting to develop and change,
which is great because he's becoming a little bit more
reliable. The last three weeks,
he has finished as a top 20 wide receiver. And the first couple
weeks of the season, we had that same up and down struggle bus of Jamo.
So you start all your studs
in this game. And on the flip side here of the Miami Dolphins,
Ali Gordon is a must start.
I think Caleb Douglas is certainly in play as well.
And if you're desperate for tight end help,
Maybe Dulcich also, but.
The Lions secondary got a little healthier last week.
It showed up there.
This is a good matchup for the Lions.
They should win this one handily,
but keep an eye out for Jared Goff
to have a pretty good game in this one too.
I think he goes over that 261.5.
