On the night of November 5, Ryazan was attacked by suicide drones . Numerous explosions rocked the city. Fires broke out at a Rosneft oil refinery and, likely, at a major Wildberries logistics center.

According to the Russian Telegram channel Astra , a drone alert was issued for the region around 2:00 a.m. Almost immediately, local residents began reporting explosions, air defense activity, and the sound of drones over the city. Later, the monitoring resource Supernova+ published a video of the "landing" and fire on the premises of JSC Ryazan Oil Refinery. The refinery is located in the Southern Industrial Hub of Ryazan and is one of the largest enterprises in the industry in Russia. According to publicly available data, its capacity is approximately 17-18 million tons of oil per year.

According to The Moscow Times, in 2024, the company processed 13.1 million tons of raw materials, which accounted for 5% of Russia's total oil refining capacity. The refinery's product range includes motor gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, fuel oil, and bitumen. The company supplies fuel to Moscow and the central regions of the Russian Federation and also serves the Ministry of Defense.

Back in 2014, the plant reported producing pilot batches of gasoline specifically for the Ministry of Defense, meeting the stringent requirements for military equipment. It also produces jet fuel, specifically TS-1, which is used by military aircraft.

The current strike is not the first in recent weeks. Following an attack on October 15, 2026, a fire broke out at the refinery, forcing the AT-6 crude oil distillation unit to be shut down. At the time, the Russian Ministry of Defense claimed the facility was attacked by four Flamingo long-range cruise missiles and 69 fixed-wing drones, and attributed the fire to falling debris. A Wildberries distribution center in the Ryazan region likely also caught fire, Astra reports . The facility, "Ryazan: Tyushevskaya," covers approximately 173,000 square meters and is located in the Ryazansky Industrial Park near the village of Tyushevo.

Local residents claim that the logistics center has been attacked and is on fire.

This marketplace facility was previously hit on July 29, temporarily restricting operations. At the time, the press service of the RWB Group, which manages Wildberries, reported the evacuation of employees at the logistics facility, and rescuers later managed to contain the fire and save most of the goods. That strike was part of a series: since mid-July, drones have struck at least 10 company facilities in several regions of Russia over the past two weeks.
