Bill, Alex, and Mike on the airwaves giving what you like.
Topics on fleek, 11 o'clock every day of the week.
Sweet on Fox.
Local.
A little conversation.
What? I'm sorry. We're sitting here in the studio having
a whole conversation about the various phases of each
of us battling colds over the last several months.
We're being all supportive of each other. You need anything.
Is everything all good? Because we have love like that for each other.
So right before the show is about to start,
Mike's like, oh, can I get a couple of those?
Tissues, and I'm sliding over to grab
the tissues thinking my man's not feeling that good.
No, I'm back.
We're looking out.
Throw him the box of tissues, and he's like,
yeah, because my forehead's a little shiny.
Yeah, you got a little shine on my forehead.
We don't have makeup, Cruz.
You don't even know what you got to do.
I ain't got no makeup.
I ain't got no powder, no nothing, man.
That's why we opened the show with me laughing,
because that completely caught me off guard.
I was like, oh, it's for your forehead?
Yeah, I got to get the dew off my forehead, man.
I know looking extra dewy is in, but I think that's for ladies.
I don't think dudes need to be walking around looking all extra dewy.
I don't think we're supposed to look dewy.
Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
I got matte powder.
Yeah, I don't got none of that, man.
Just stop the four-by-four head shot.
Yeah, I don't do as much TV as you, man,
so it's not worth the investment for me.
Like, you want eight hours a day for me to have powder.
It's not worth the investment.
Exactly.
I mean, it's not.
It's like, right, Sephora's having a sale.
Just go and do that one.
Gives you a $15, 30% off of the Sephora collection.
Yeah, and that's all you really need.
Like, when I first came here, they started with the whole,
they had makeup artists and whatnot.
They used to have makeup artists here?
No, no.
They met with, like, they talked to us.
Okay, I'm fine.
That's me I'm supposed to have here.
No, I miss that.
I've been here a lot of years.
I ain't never seen them.
Right.
I can't think of her name.
She was always here when News Channel would send guests.
Oh, the fancy people for the networks.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
So I met with her, and she, like, walked me through the whole thing.
whole process and doing all the things.
And at one point she was like, you don't need
that much. She's like,
maybe you want to put a little dab of something, she explained to
me, and then just stop your forehead from shining.
She's like, you know, look how you
look.
Shiny forehead.
Mike used to always tell stories
at the network where they had fancy people. They would do
mascara on the bottom eyes
so you could have definition with your eyes. They would put
mascara on men.
And...
But that's always been a thing for me.
I'm like, I'll know I've made it when I can have a makeup artist.
You can have a makeup artist?
Yes, or a hair person.
So I don't have to worry about that.
I can just focus on my work and say, we got to do it all.
Somebody in the company told me that.
They're like, one day you'll have people.
Yeah.
And then you'll understand.
We're still waiting for that day.
That's about.
That was like a year and a half ago.
I still have dreams.
They reached out,
telling you,
they talked to you about your people.
Your people's are coming.
They building the system for you.
It's a process to get some people.
I'm just hoping,
you know what I mean,
they remember me.
Like when you get your people,
it's like,
yo,
don't forget your people.
Right.
What are my people supposed to do?
I don't know.
Get you together.
What you mean?
I'm not sure what those people are supposed to do.
When you look at the big TV shows.
I'm the dude who's pressing vote t-shirts at home.
Yeah.
So we can come in here and get ready for election day.
I'm that.
I do.
They come in and powder you in breaks,
make sure your hair didn't get out of like...
Listen, you don't know how good it can be.
I'm about to say,
if you don't want your people when they come to you...
We'll take them.
You'll take the people?
Yes.
I'm going to get some people.
Right.
These are the people.
You build peoples, come kick it with me.
You know what I'm saying?
I got work for you.
I've seen a bunch of the people.
When I was doing The Pulse
and we were interviewing a bunch of the celebrities,
you would see the people who were just kind of off camera
and you go to break and they get your hair,
a little dab or whatever.
I just kind of sit there and look and go, oh.
And I get it.
You know how many tweets I get about my appearance and my hair?
This is all, that's this.
What's this going on with your blush?
Yo, well, I'm trying to start good.
Imagine if you were busted.
I'm about to tell these people to stop judging my homegirl, man.
Like, she here working 4 o'clock in the morning.
What you doing?
Like, don't be judging her, man.
Hair.
So whatever hair is out of place.
That's very kind of you.
You know what I'm saying?
Well, I focus on what's coming out of my mouth.
So, yeah, I'm not.
We can't have time to focus on everything.
So, it just comes with it.
I get it.
I feel like you work with the kind of people that if you.
You really needed somebody to talk to you about your appearance.
Somebody would.
You know, I think that they do.
They said they, you know, like, you know,
like social media, everything because sometimes,
you know, because we're sitting facing out.
So he'll say, you didn't notice this?
And I'm like, I'm looking this way.
I can't see what's happening on the other side.
And you're like, I don't know what's going on in here.
My wife is always like, yo, you just got
to keep this side of your face in order.
That's true.
Just one side.
Like, she was like, yeah, now you need
to shape up that side of your beard.
It's a little.
Listen, I started doing Battleground.
We were doing mic checks before we would go live.
And they were like, hey, Bill, do you want to?
And they would make suggestions and stuff.
And I was like, I don't get any better looking.
Like, y'all can adjust the light if you want.
I don't want to. You chose all this.
I woke up like this.
Whatever light you give me.
Right. You make it a little less shiny.
But other than that, it's going to be all good.
All right. Anyway, welcome to BAM.
Jump into everything.
Your forehead looks good.
You'll be ready to go.
So Sixers get another big win last night.
We talked about it before.
Are the Sixers ready for everything
that comes with LeBron being in the city?
Right.
Bron's chasing down a loose ball last night
and goes into the stands, and this happens.
So there he is, goes into the stands.
Yeah.
Apparently, he did an interview,
you're seeing it again, runs into that guy.
Now, remember that guy's jacket, okay?
Remember that guy.
He says LeBron does an interview afterwards,
said that he spilled some of the wine on his arm,
and so he wanted to see if the wine was any good.
So he took a little sip.
He said it's house wine.
In a plastic cup.
In a plastic cup.
Right.
It's house wine.
Those are courtside.
Don't you get nicer wine there?
Maybe, but it's still in the plastic cup.
Right.
It's still house wine.
All right.
He said it wasn't bad.
It wasn't bad.
Right.
So all of the LeBron factor starts.
There's all sorts of questions.
What did it mean?
Are you selling this cup on eBay?
That guy is probably never going to wash the cup again.
So a social media.
Uh, individual Chris Rim, R-H-I-M.
He's a reporter.
Chris, Chris is, Rim is?
Yes.
I think he is piano.
We showed it on Good Day.
Yeah.
All right, shout him out.
Well, Chris.
Shout out.
He's like a sports reporter
for an actual outlet.
To him for doing that.
My bad.
No, it's fine.
It's weird because it doesn't say it
on his social media.
Maybe that was separate.
No, New York Post shared it.
New York Post Sports.
And then if you go on his X,
then it says what he does.
Ah, I got you.
Because they credited him,
so then we went to his page
and that's where it's at.
I'm crediting you right now, Chris.
So credit to you
and chalk that up to my ignorance,
not intent to disrespect you.
Oh, my gosh.
Now I'm trying to fact-check myself.
My people. These are the people I have.
All right, so he tracked down the guy who LeBron ran into.
Remember I said, remember that jacket?
And here's what that guy had to say.
Then LeBron just drank a sip of his wine, as you see right here.
Troy, can you tell me what happened?
Walking to my seat, you know, whatever this beverage is,
we won't say what it is, LeBron crashed into me.
He grabbed me. He said, uh...
My bad. My drink spilled everywhere.
He took my drink from me and he basically just took a sip of it,
gave it back and ran back on the field.
Some people were saying on Twitter that you should never wash the cup
and all this kind of stuff about
because LeBron drank from it. How do you feel?
I mean, at the end of the day, he's another man like me.
He's a regular. I mean, he's LeBron.
But at the end of the day, I threw that cup in the trash.
Do that cup in the trash. All right.
What do we think of this? Let's break it down in 15 seconds.
At Quarter Madness, we eat, sleep, and breathe personal injury.
Our clients are our family, and we protect our family.
People can rely on us as if they could rely on a family member.
We know exactly what to do.
That's why people call us.
All right, so there we go.
This all happens.
Questions?
Our reactions to when you see this,
because it's LeBron, so there have been a thousand
different reactions.
What was your take when you saw it?
The fact that he did it, I think, well, he's not the first.
I think Joel has done some of that.
Other people now are sharing their stories.
But as I said, when I went to the home opener, he's a showman.
He's bringing us a show, not just a good game, but he's like,
let me go out into the crowd.
Let me come on.
Let me take a sip.
It's all in good fun.
When you're winning and things are going well, we want those moments.
You want to hang out and just enjoy the moment.
Enjoy the ride.
It's kind of cool.
You know what I mean?
That was a good thing.
Yeah, yeah.
I was watching.
I was like, yo, ref had to blow the whistle, call him back on.
Like, yo, come on.
What are you doing, man?
Maxie's sitting there waiting for it.
It ain't drink time?
Like, come on back out here, man.
We still playing.
Game's still going.
So, yeah, I thought it was pretty cool.
I liked the way he played it, man.
He could have just bumped into him, ran him over,
came back out on the court and, like
any other play, what he did.
But, you know, he's a showman, man.
He's LeBron.
He's just here for the fun of it, man.
He ain't really getting paid.
He ain't come for the money.
I mean, he's getting paid, but he didn't come for the money.
Well, no.
You know what I'm saying?
So he's putting on a show for us, so I appreciate it.
He looks to me.
And obviously, I don't know the man.
I have watched his career, as many of us have.
He looks like he's having more fun right now than he's had
in a really long time.
He just looks like he enjoys
the people he's playing with and the crowd.
It's only eight games.
He's won before.
We're number one right now in the conference.
You know what I mean?
They're having a great start to the season.
You know, the energy in the city is great around them.
So I think this is beautiful, man.
This is just what I said.
As long as we winning, he can fly back
and forth with that chopper all day, every day.
Like, we good.
I just want to know the bro code.
I want the man perspective.
Because when I watched it, and he was like,
oh, he's just a regular dude.
I threw it away.
Like, I'm like, in the comments, some
people are like, you should have kept it.
You could have sold it.
Nah, I'm with him on it.
You would?
I actually said that last night
when I was watching the game with my wife.
I'm like, man, I'd have threw that cup away.
See, but like, man, people would keep it.
Like, what's wrong with that?
Like, what about drinking this dude is sweaty.
He running up and down the court.
He put his mouth on my cup.
I'm not drinking this.
We didn't say drink it, but you keep LeBron.
What am I going to do after that?
It's a story.
I feel like that should go in a man cave or something.
Like, yo, this is a drink that went viral
that LeBron took a sip out of.
I feel like that's a...
I don't want to see that.
All right, I guess so.
I feel like men try to be cool sometimes.
My initial response was the man trying to be cool sometimes.
It's true sometimes.
Response to what Alex is saying.
My initial response was,
well, I'm going to do right up
that another dude was sipping on.
Oh, my gosh, man.
Upon further review,
in listening to your point,
I'm also the dude who's got signed jerseys
all up in his house.
So you think you should have went around LeBron
to see if he could sign a cup for him?
No, but I do think, to Alex's point,
If you're somebody who does that, if you have a man cave,
if you have it, then I think you take the picture.
Here's Creative Bill, also the guy
who's got pictures all around the studio.
If you get a picture of that moment of him bumping into you
and then you put the cup in a little case.
Put it in a glass box.
Y'all better live this life.
I've seen people, they were buying grass
from games from the Super Bowl.
I've seen men take tattered, sweaty, like, you know.
Under shirts from games.
I get it.
What is the difference and where is the line?
I feel like sometimes men try to be cool with stuff,
and then other times they be like, nah.
And that's a real live moment.
Who would have even thought about it?
He gets dressed just like I do.
Why would you keep a little trading card
that maybe he signed personally,
maybe he signed it in a batch versus
an actual moment you had with a superstar?
How many people can tell that?
Of all the people in the arena, he fell into you, not Joe.
It's all over.
I just feel like that's cool.
I probably thought just like homeboy,
I'd be like, man, I guess I got to go get me another drink, man.
I wouldn't even, it wouldn't have entered my mind.
There may be some people in the audience who'd be like,
yo, you should keep it.
Maybe it would have clicked for me.
But in the moment, I'm like, oh, man.
I don't know.
Spilt my drink.
I'd be watching Bam.
The next day, I'd be watching Bam going,
why didn't I keep that cup?
Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
I'd probably be that guy the next day.
But in the moment, I probably would have threw it out too.
Because he's regular.
No, because he's sweaty, and I don't want to drink out of it.
It's still my cocktail.
Yeah, but so you get another cocktail.
I wouldn't have thought that far, Alex.
I'm saying I would have stopped thinking.
Especially if I had been drinking the wine for a couple of days.
I would have stopped thinking.
Man, it's sweaty.
Dude, come off the court.
Put his mouth all over my wine.
Don't even order me another one.
Like, I don't want this.
You completely changed the question of the day.
Would you have kept the cup?
Would you want it as a keepsake?
Is it something that you would want to deal with?
We have posted the question of the day.
Hit us all up on social media, and you can just comment.
Let us know.
Are you on board?
I think that Alex convinced me.
She makes a great point.
I'm on Team Alex now.
But I'm also the girl.
I still have confetti from the first Super Bowl.
I do, too.
I have all the, like, you know.
I got sent home, so I got no confetti.
I had a plan for it.
Well, I mean, one of the photographers brought the confetti.
I got confetti from both the game and from the parade.
I was out there doing interviews, collecting stuff.
And all these years, I got no.
We need to take a break, but I will tell you,
from growing up in media, and you've been
doing this for a lot of years, growing up in media,
when my father passed away and I
went back and looked and realized all
the things I didn't keep, because I didn't value
them at the time, and I sat back and I was like, oh man.
That's me all day.
All right, quick break.
We'll be right back.
Bam.
Damn, this work.
We're sitting here reflecting during the
break of all the different people you've met or
interacted with or whatever and the things you didn't keep.
And I'm sitting back now.
I had a signed Kobe Bryant jersey.
No idea where it is.
The Lower Merion jersey.
And he signed it.
We were in St. Joe's Gym one day.
I had a signed Muhammad Ali glove.
That my dad got for me.
No idea what it was.
You was an appreciative kid, wasn't you?
I was a kid.
Like, you didn't appreciate nothing.
I was a kid.
We had the Sixers when they won the championship.
They were 4-5-4.
We owe you one.
Like, going back to Julius Irving and all them.
They gave my dad a signed basketball because he was in media.
One day as a kid, I couldn't find a basketball,
and I was in the backyard playing with the signed Sixers basketball.
I just didn't understand what it was because you were a kid.
Yeah.
And spoiled.
Obviously.
You just thought it was a ball you wanted to play with.
I was a kid, but spoiled, sure.
I mean, the fact that I had access
to all those things makes me spoiled.
He was blessed.
Like, who cares?
It's just a basketball.
Julius Irving Schmerving.
I'm shooting with this joint today.
Who is this Moses Malone guy?
Why is his name on my ball?
Can't wait until I've bounced it enough times that it wears off.
All right.
Crazy.
I could be retired with all this stuff I can't find.
Could have sold at auction.
All right.
So T.I. and Tiny have had a bunch of different shows.
Mike, do you know who T.I. is?
I do know who T.I. is.
You better let them know.
There you go.
Went to see him live a couple months back.
His show, they have a show, Royal Absurdities.
Did you see him when he came to Good Day?
To Good Day?
Yeah, a couple years ago.
He came here on post, too.
Hot, real high.
Just call him out, Bill.
No, he said it on air.
He tried to get a bunch of us to go out down the hall
and get high with him.
Well, that was generous of him.
So he could do the thing.
Right.
I mean, you know, at least he wasn't selfish.
Right.
He didn't want to share.
He's like, I'm at work, too.
I'm at work.
And he said, you didn't say no.
I know.
That sounds like something he would say.
I do love T.I. energy, man.
I think he's got great energy.
He's a great vibe, dude.
So the show Royal Absurdities,
they have like another one of their kind of reality shows.
Sitting down having a conversation about relationships,
the whole happy wife, happy life thing.
And here's what his thoughts on all that.
Happy wife, happy life, bro.
Per my experience, bro, arguing is a choice.
That man done been married about as long as a Super Bowl commercial.
Somebody need to hold them accountable for you.
Happy wife, happy life, my guy.
If it ain't no happy me, ain't gonna be no happy we.
See what I'm saying?
It's me, me.
That's selfish, bro.
We got to work on that.
A man who pays half a million dollars a month
for bills for people who pay everybody coins, sure.
I'm selfish.
I'm so selfish.
You ain't not just agreeing with everything the women say, bro.
What happened to the man code?
I don't go home to no man.
You don't know how good what you got here
because you ain't never left long enough to compare to me.
And I'm cool with that.
Get to a butterfly and talk to me, man.
Don't be talking to me with no caterpillar's experience, man.
I love it, dude.
This one line is one of the best.
Happy wife, happy life.
He's like, uh-uh.
No happy me.
No happy we.
No happy we.
All right.
I'm going to get your take.
You immediately reacted.
Because whenever I do that, I'm like,
Alex, what is your perspective on this?
And she's like, well, I've got to speak for all the women involved.
So speak for you.
Everybody should be happy.
Everyone should be, you know, pleased.
Happy wife, happy life, happy spouse, happy house.
All right, so you're with the balance.
No happy we unless there's happy me.
I think if both parties are thinking about the happiness of the other,
it will be successful.
That's fair.
How's that?
That's fair.
That's all grown.
Happy wife, you should be thinking of that.
And if she's thinking about a happy husband,
then everything's beautiful.
Like, just be thinking of the other person,
how you can make their life better and make the partnership better.
Now, he said happy me.
They called him selfish.
Well, you know.
I mean, that is thinking about you.
If you're not happy, how can you keep anybody else happy?
That's always been my approach.
If I'm miserable, everybody in the house is going to be miserable.
You know what I'm saying?
So to say happy wife, and if that puts you in a space where
you're unhappy or you're doing things that you don't want to do
or you're constantly just satisfying her and never satisfying you.
Like, what kind of relationship is that?
Like, why would a woman even want that relationship?
It's called marriage.
If you want it to be all about you, then be single.
That's what being single is about.
What I'm saying is it doesn't have to be all about you,
but it should not be all about any individual in the relationship.
It's an interesting conflict, though,
because in relationship counseling,
oftentimes people will say,
I did years ago.
Look at this guy, I ain't get married yet.
I think everyone should.
Good.
Oh.
Obviously, they work out.
The relationship counseling helped me get out that relationship.
But I think everybody should do it if they're in a serious relationship
or even before they get married.
They say you should do it before problems arise.
So you already have the conflict, you know,
you can handle that and do all that before.
If you have the problem, then you go on working backwards
because the issue is already there.
The thing that they kept saying
was that you can't hold somebody else responsible for your happiness.
You have to make you happy.
And that's essentially what happy me,
like if I'm responsible for making me happy.
I have to focus on that to some extent.
Then I'm also called selfish
of focusing for making me happy.
I think it's only seen as selfish
if you're saying happy wife,
you're like, no, happy me.
Then it feels more,
instead of like,
hey, I want to make sure I'm good,
then also this.
I think if that's your response
when someone says that,
then to me it's kind of like,
okay.
I'm the only one who went to counseling.
I want both sides to be selfish.
All right, I've just never heard of that.
You're the married man.
You take care of you.
You're going to be happy.
I'm going to take care of me.
I'm going to be happy,
and we'll come together and take care of each other.
We'll make each other happy.
So is that marriage?
Marriage is really about selfishness?
Because I've never heard that before.
No, but I mean, that's part of the process, man.
Like, you've got to be concerned with you,
your health, your wealth, your well-being.
You have to be.
I can't put it on somebody else to be concerned with me.
It's an interesting point.
If you're too focused on somebody else, you end up resenting them.
Like, if you try to find that balance, I would imagine.
Or you neglect you, even if you don't resent them.
We ain't married.
So, we are learning from the married person.
All right, let's take a quick break.
I'm 26 years in.
Call Glenn.
I was going to say, I think my dad would have
a little different opinion, but he's old school.
And he's 43 years in.
That's right.
But Glenn knows.
This is a Judge Holly moment.
He might not agree on TV.
Quick break.
We'll be right back.
We're just putting everybody's
athletes in it and everything.
I love Clay, man.
Hey, Gar.
Bill, Alex, and Mike on the airwaves giving what you like.
Topics on fleek, 11 o'clock every day of the week.
And we are back.
I know, I'm sharing a mic, but my dad hasn't said anything yet.
Bill is a little hurt that Glenn ain't tuned in.
Yeah, they said they got lives now.
They ain't watching me.
You know what I'm saying?
Like, hold on a second, man.
You on TV a lot.
I know.
What she's trying to say is so my loved ones aren't.
I mean, I don't.
Like, it's not.
I sit back and talk to my family about different shows,
and they're like, Bill, I mean, I do work.
Like, I can't watch all the shows that are going on right now.
You make a good point, which you don't, Bill.
What's that?
You are on like all day.
And you're all over the place.
But I don't do more.
At least Alex is like four hours straight.
But it is, they're an hour behind.
So it is really early.
You know, it's like, yo, I got to tune in at 11
and I got to come back at 2 and I got
to come back at 4 and I got to be here for one.
All right.
And then 9 to 11 tonight.
I got to be jobless to follow your schedule.
That's good.
Speaking of which,
we have a special voting special going on this evening on Battle.
Battleground, a live streaming show.
It's on Fox Local.
It's on BattlegroundElections.com.
It's going to be on stations across the country.
But make sure you check us out.
We're going to be watching the different races.
It's going to be an exciting night.
And make sure you vote today, man.
Have you voted yet?
I did vote.
Where's your sticker?
I lost it.
I hate that because I like to have the proof.
I bet you did it.
Did you go yet or are you going later?
Oh, yeah.
At four this morning?
Yeah, absolutely.
Yeah, me too.
You know how much time the polls are open?
You open the polls?
Yeah, I was the one saying the polls are now open.
I'm shattered.
I'm not going to do that.
Yo, we got a lot going on.
I need to vote now.
You know what's crazy?
I asked her that, and the very same reason I didn't vote
is because I had to be in early to do something today.
So I'm going to try to sneak out during the day.
We were doing, we're going to take a break.
We were doing hits with the stations across the country.
Over the last couple of days.
He didn't say what time, though.
So I was doing hits at 7.30 this morning.
That's conspiracy.
They're trying to keep you from voting.
You know, the polls open at 6.
No, not here.
No, 7.
7 here, but 6 in Jersey and also...
Bill don't live in Jersey.
I'm just saying.
There's a polls open at 6.
We're going to take a break, but we'll be right back.
But vote, it is important.
Get out there.
There's a lot at stake, even in Pennsylvania.
Yeah, get out and vote.
There's a lot that's going on, so get out there and vote.
Bill, Alex, and Mike on the airwaves giving what you like.
Topics on fleek, 11 o'clock every day of the week.
Alex called the judge right in the middle of the show.
He hadn't said anything.
I'm like, Daddy, you watching?
He's on my way to see Grandpa, which is the only acceptable answer.
You know what I mean?
You can watch this on your phone, too.
I'm not saying watch while you drive.
I'm just saying.
I understand.
So, Mike.
Oh, go ahead.
I was just going to say, what I want to know
is how did I become part of Greenwich Village?
How did you become part of Greenwich Village?
You're already in, brother.
That's a brand.
We need to make a shirt.
You're already in, man.
Once you showed up with the Marvin Gaye hat,
you and me was good from there on, man.
Oh, my.
Give me that beanie.
Are we out of time now?
Yeah, we got to go, man.
That's a good idea, though.
We should get Greenwich Village merch.
Bye, Dad.
Now we got to figure out what's the rest of us.
Yeah, you can be selfish in marriage.
But you got to be sneaky with it.
He said you got to be sneaky with it.
We got to go.
I got 26.
He got 43.
That's what you get after 43.
Appreciate y'all watching.
We got to go.
Give us all a follow on social media.
Go vote today.
Go vote, y'all.
Get out there, man.
Let's go.
And stay tuned for a good day uncut that starts right now.
