What about the MAGA movement?
I mean, it's been around 10, 11 years.
Yeah, and I think Republicans are going
to have a hard look in the mirror, right,
to say what went wrong, because you look
at the candidates that President Trump propped up,
the Darlene Grahams of the world,
the Ken Paxtons of the world, and how poorly that went.
And now the party will have to consider, where do we go from here?
What is next?
I do want to point out, the producer just said in my ear,
Michigan has just been called by Fox.
And, guys, El Sayed?
Yes, he was. He was leading four percentage points right there.
So this could be as you look at this board here.
This could be a sweep of those seven states today that we talked about.
I mean, Alaska sort of the outstanding one.
But I mean, this could be a sweep in those toss up Senate races
that Democrats are winning all of them.
And I think seeing some elements of the white working class voter that
has gone away from Democrats more than 2024 during the Trump period.
Some of those voters coming back.
The question is, are they coming back to the Democratic Party
or are they voting against or what's happening to their pocketbooks?
Because there was a lesson learned for Democrats
in the last election before this one of what
their messaging was accomplishing and what it wasn't.
That's right. And they had, of course, the postmortem that they did.
But look, Democrats were shell shocked and without a message after 2024
and no messenger. Now they get their mojo back a little bit.
But how does the president respond to that? Because
when he's kicked back, he doesn't exactly kind of lay down in this.
So we're going to have a quite a dicey couple months.
So what happens on January 3rd? What is the first?
Issue in front of the Democratic Party.
It's the economy, right?
And you talked about earlier, we talked about military spending, right?
And the government, the federal government is on a CR,
continuing resolution right now.
You've got to fund the government.
You've got to figure out what you want to do on military spending
because President Trump's not going
to get that number that he wanted before.
Got it. All right, David, Greg, appreciate it. Wow. What a night.
What a night. Certainly lots to talk about
and lots to look forward to is certainly as
it will keep us busy. All right. Well, replacing Nancy Pelosi coming up,
we're going to take a look at those results
in the San Francisco congressional race.
