This is a tiger, and if you fought it,
you would virtually have a 0% chance of beating it in a fight.
But that's not what your everyday American thinks,
so in today's video, we'll be going over the top 20 animals
and what percentage of people think they can beat them.
Now, let's start out with an animal
that 99% of people think they can beat.
Meet the squirrel. They're incredibly fast,
and they're tiny compared to humans.
They have sharp claws and teeth,
but most people would feel pretty confident against one.
That's why 99% of people thought they could beat one in a fight.
The next animal is a rabbit, and like the squirrel,
99% of humans think they could beat
a rabbit in a fight.
Now even though rabbits have powerful hind legs
and sharp teeth, they still stand no
chance against a big human.
Next animal also only has a 1% chance of beating a human,
and that's the chicken.
Now even though chickens have sharp claws
and a painful peck, they would still stand
It's an absolutely zero chance against a big human.
But against animals their own size, they can actually
be a force to be reckoned with and have even fought off snakes.
Next up is the groundhog,
and only 98% of Americans think they could beat it in a fight.
And although that percentage sounds pretty high,
I genuinely don't know how a human could actually lose to this animal.
Now, they do have strong teeth,
but they definitely aren't beating a human in a fight.
The next animal is a goose, and like the groundhog,
98% of humans think they could beat it in
a fight.
And if you think about it, geese are notorious
for chasing people because they can bite,
flap their wings, and act incredibly aggressive,
but they're relatively lightweight, so they
would not win a fight.
Next up is the raccoon, and despite people being scared
of them sometimes, 97% of people think they could beat it in a fight.
Now, surprisingly, raccoons weigh over 30 pounds and have strong jaws
and sharp claws, so it still would be a tough fight.
Next up is the red fox, and believe it or not,
95% of people think they could actually beat it in a fight.
And despite having sharp jaws and sharp claws,
this fox is much smaller than a human, so in a fight to the death,
it would definitely end up running away.
Now this next animal appears bigger,
and that's because of its wingspan.
Surprisingly, only 90% of humans think they could beat it
in a fight, which means they
think they have a better chance against
a fox than they do against a peacock.
However, without their feathers and wings,
they're actually a lot smaller than people think.
Coming up next is the capybara,
and surprisingly only 85% of people think they could beat it in
a fight. This gigantic rodent can weigh over 100 pounds,
but they're generally peaceful
and nothing to worry about, but they do have a strong bite.
Next up is your most common household pet, which is a golden retriever.
And according to a poll, 80%
of humans think they could take one in a fight.
Next up is the rat, and in a poll done, only 72% of people
in the United States thought they could take a rat in a fight.
Now, I don't even know how that's possible, because what
these Americans are saying is that they literally think they have
a better chance against a capybara than they do a rat.
The next animal is a coyote, and 70% of people in the United States
think they could take one in a fight, and they're probably not wrong.
Coyotes weigh around 20 to 50 pounds and they're fast
and athletic but humans are still much bigger
so would probably win in a fight.
For this next animal the amount of people that think they can
beat it drops drastically.
Meet the python which only 25 percent of people think they could beat
in a fight. Some pythons can grow to over 20 feet long
and they're incredibly powerful snakes.
However this next animal is far more deadly than the python.
This wild boar weighs hundreds of
pounds but for some reason 20 percent
of people think they could actually take it in a fight.
Now these animals have massive strength,
so the reality is definitely much lower than 20%.
Coming in at 15% is the wolf,
which means 85% of people think they can't beat it in a fight,
and they're probably right.
That's because wolves are powerful predators with strong jaws,
sharp teeth, and they can be bigger than most human adults.
Next animal is one straight out of a nightmare, and that's a lion.
Now only 2% of people think they could beat a lion in a fight,
but the reality is literally 0%.
Lions weigh over 400 pounds, and with their incredible strength,
they would have a human down on the ground within seconds.
The next animal only 2% of people think they can beat is a tiger,
and they can weigh over 600 pounds.
Like the lion, the odds of beating this big cat
are literally next to nothing, but for some reason 2%
of people think they could actually beat the tiger in a fight.
Now we're at the top 3, and coming in at number 3 is the grizzly bear,
and only 1% of people think they could beat it in a fight.
But of course, the reality is that 0%
of people could actually beat a grizzly bear in a fight.
Now let's move on to animal number 2, which is a hippopotamus.
Now this animal can literally kill any animal that tries to attack it,
including crocodiles and lions,
so the fact that 1% of humans think they could actually beat
this animal in a fight is absolutely crazy.
And now it's time for today's best pick,
which is literally an elephant, and 1% of people think
they could actually beat an elephant in a fight.
Now, these people are delusional, and I don't even
need to explain why I would lose to an elephant in a fight.
