League of Women Voters helps Columbus, GA voters find their voting precinct

A lot of people don't know that this is not a voting site on election day. So they wanted somebody to just be here to redirect people. And so we said we would do it. And I've had several volunteers every year doing it every election cycle. We do this and we spend the whole day here and we look and Nancy Boren's office provides us with this lovely table and banner and two laptop computers. And we look people's information up and tell them where their polling site is. Has it been a busy day so far today? It's been a busy day. It's always a busy day. It's surprisingly. You would think people get the word, but they don't. So why do you think they're coming here? because it is an early voting site and a lot of people prefer this one. one. You know this year there were three to start and then two more were added in the last week. So they just think they can still come here and sadly they can't.
