Take a look right now at Life Care Reviews all around downtown Phoenix,
Flagstaff, Tempe Town Lake and Sedona
and check out that Tempe Town Lake cam.
The water is still just ripping through at a really quick speed
as it's continuing to be released downstream through both the Verde
and the salt dams that allow for the water to remain in storage
but right now they're doing some releases so that's why the salt
is running in the valley which doesn't happen too often.
And then everyone else you can see clear skies overhead,
a few high clouds throughout the day today in the high country.
More expected. You're seeing those currently
on our satellite imagery running through Flagstaff,
running along like the northwest corner of the state.
I will say you can see that radar is trying
to show like little teeny blips of green.
I don't really think that's moisture making to the ground.
I just think it's the moisture locked up in those clouds.
But other than that, it should be a dry day
for us as we go through our Tuesday.
Let's talk about the flood alerts in place.
Along the Agua Fria through 1115 this morning,
there was a flood warning in the West Valley.
There's also a flood warning through Saturday,
Saturday at two o'clock in the afternoon.
Long lasting because of the water releases that are going to continue,
which means areas that are typically dry will be running with water.
And that continues along the salt through the Gila down to past Buckeye
and towards Gila Bend. Then we look over into the East Valley
where you have various flood warnings throughout either
this morning to or a Thursday morning into the evening.
We'll
be
right
back.
For agricultural flooding around the Gila River,
this is through 4 o'clock this afternoon.
And a flood advisory remains around the Greenwash through 845 tonight
because of flooding just south of Costa Grande.
So let's talk a little bit of change to the forecast.
Not major, but a little bit of change that we are expecting here.
As we go through the temperature tracker, the storm system
that impacted us is continuing to move to the northeast.
A little bit of ridging to the south of us means some mild air
is in place as we go through today,
which means the temperature is a bit warmer than yesterday.
Upper 70s are expected.
But a system that
One that runs to the north Wednesday
into like early Thursday should not really impact
us much other than keeping us from warming anymore.
So we will stay in the upper 70s throughout the work week.
I mean, it's pretty calm.
There's really no systems impacting us all the way through Friday.
And then we get ridging over the weekend,
which will start to bump our temperature up.
So take a look.
This is the 10 day forecast and see how we're at 78 today.
That's that little warm up from yesterday when we hit 73.
But then there's really no change all the way through Thursday,
still at 78 degrees.
Friday we get to 80 degrees, and then by Sunday, we do get up to 82.
But like I said, that ridging isn't super powerful,
so there's no major heat bump in this 10-day forecast,
and it's also a very dry forecast compared to where we've been.
So I think people can kind of take a breath finally
after what has been a very active weather spell.
