Beautiful. Yeah. Good morning, everyone.
Happy Tuesday to you. Got a wet day ahead. As you
already know, we're talking morning, afternoon and evening.
You wouldn't be able to tell from
this beautiful golden shot right here. Sun will officially be with us.
At about 6.35 and looking to set right around 5.09.
Get outdoors, folks.
Well, I shouldn't say get outdoors.
I mean, if you are, this would be the time because we're going
to see rain move in, at least locally, in the next about hour or so.
Already reports of rain north of the bridge.
I'll share some satellite radar shots with you in just a second.
Those of you looking to head out tomorrow.
We're talking about the Valkyries Parade.
It's going to be a gorgeous one, dry, more importantly, partly cloudy,
and day one of a warming trend.
But, yeah, as far as spectating, all signs point to yes.
Beach hazard statement looking to expire this evening come 8 p.m.
And as you can see, we're still dealing
with some ferocious rip currents
and pretty strong and just incredible sneaker waves, 12 foot plus.
All right.
Two things I'm showing you.
One is this is what's joining us today.
We'll wrap up around 9, 10 tonight.
But I want to show you all of this moisture
that's continuing to move towards really the West Coast
and staying well north of us, just clipping areas such as Eureka.
So a lot of moisture.
As far as the Pacific is concerned,
but this is our fair share as far as the extended forecast.
Here's a little two-hour by two-hour.
So, as I mentioned earlier, you know,
it looks like the North Bay as well as areas east
of us are going to pick up the bulk of this moisture.
Red.
Reds, yellows indicate potential for heavy downpour
as well as thunder and lightning.
Just factor this in as you plan out your day, folks.
And then as we move through the rest of the week,
as I just shared with you, a lot of moisture staying north of us.
Warming trend begins tomorrow with temperatures moving up.
We'll see temps nearing almost 80 once we hit this weekend.
Yes, you heard me right.
This is precipitation totals is what we're projecting.
I think that we'll actually see
a bit more rain as far as areas east of us.
Check back tomorrow.
As we share some storm totals with you.
Wind not a factor.
Here are your forecast and highs for today.
Temperatures are down between about 4
to 7 degrees, depending on where you are.
Well below seasonal average.
And then here you have it.
Today is by far the coolest day of this week.
It's all about Thursday.
Numbers start to really tick up.
And then Saturday, as I mentioned, nearing 80.
Just get ready for a wet day ahead, folks, and be safe out there.
We have more for you.
We'll see you.
