All right, let's turn to the forecast.
Some may be missing the rain. Mike Rizzo, is that coming back soon?
Yeah, the rain is going to be returning this week, likely on Thursday
and Friday, more so on Friday where the front lingers over
the Garden State featuring rain that lasts throughout much of the day.
So here's that forecast for today. We do have a mild stretch.
High temperatures today jump to about 72,
and it stays mild tonight into tomorrow morning with a low of 54.
A few clouds, still pretty okay tomorrow afternoon.
With a thin cloud cover in the afternoon,
highs will jump to about 72 to 73 degrees in parts of the state.
It feels fantastic, but everybody, the days are numbered.
You know, our warm days are going to be departing this week.
And once you get into the weekend,
you're certainly going to feel a robust chill.
to the air as you head into next week.
You can see here that we have that sunshine, though,
at least for Wednesday, which is going to be a really nice experience.
And then by Thursday morning,
showers begin to arrive, but clouds, rain arrives.
We're not expecting to see heavy stuff until the overnight hours.
So this is 315 in the afternoon.
You'll see that we're still in the upper 60s near 70 degrees.
But then once the front passes by going into Friday morning,
rain does linger throughout the day.
And it looks like there can be some
Localized areas of flooding right now it looks like
that's just isolated toward the northeastern corner.
We're talking Bergen and Hudson counties, Lower Essex County,
Eastern Union County that has a low threat
for the for the consideration of flash flooding.
But I don't see this becoming a big widespread issue.
It doesn't look like it's going to be too much rain.
Here we are at our 10 day forecast. More on this coming up.
