Denver Broncos Get FANTASTIC News After Beating Chiefs...
Nov 3, 2026
Your Denver Broncos just won the AFC West,
and just like we told you was going to happen
when the Broncos were at 2-2
and the rest of the national media was lying about this
team, we told you Sean Payton's team
is about to go on a massive win streak.
Check the box.
Sean Payton's team is going to take over
the AFC West after they play the Chiefs and win.
Check that mark, and the Broncos are going
to be the one seed in the entire AFC.
We get more phenomenal news after just laying a licking.
Outlasting Patrick Mahomes.
Take away our best two safeties.
Take away Pat Bryant.
Give us a torrential downpour.
Have Bo Nix have to make something happen
in the fourth quarter, and it happened.
This is a team of destiny, and we have phenomenal news.
I need to remind everyone who is watching.
that Bo Nix is the actual biological father of the Kansas City Chiefs,
that if it were not for a blocked field goal,
you would be looking at Patrick Mahomes' record against Bo Nix,
and it would be embarrassing.
His face would turn as red as his jersey
because Bo Nix and Sean Payton have owned them,
but Patrick Mahomes has never come into Denver
and beat Bo Nix and Sean Payton together,
and as it stands right now, the playoffs,
they are running through Denver, that Kansas City...
Is now a full game back in the win column,
but because of the head to head, because not
only the Broncos like beat the Seattle Seahawks
and the Chiefs didn't, the Chiefs didn't even
make it into the stinking red zone against the Seahawks.
The Broncos beat them.
So in common opponents, the Denver Broncos have
a half game lead here on the Kansas City
Chiefs because of that tiebreaker.
Then in addition to it, you just look
at a gauntlet for the Kansas City Chiefs.
You look at a team that has problems all over the place,
and that's what made it so frustrating
that we didn't blow the doors off of them from the jump.
But we're going to get into all of that.
The fact of the matter is your Broncos have
a clear seed here to get the one seed in the entire AFC,
and you should be losing your ever-loving mind with excitement.
We got so many awesome things to break down.
Let's first talk about like the player of the game,
the play of the game.
Definitely, it's got to be our main man, Jonah Coleman.
I don't know in what world this dude falls
to the fourth round because he is a difference maker.
His explosiveness, I'm getting texts
from people I haven't talked to in years
saying like, feed Jonah Coleman, feed Jonah Coleman.
One of the frustrating things about Sean Payton
is that he is such a scheme guy that it takes until later
on in the game where he's figured everything out
with his like Asperger's mind and he figures out like, oh,
this is the answer to this and this is the answer to this.
And so while it is a slow start, we know it's a hot finish
and I want to always finish hot and I would take
that starting slow all day as long as I finish like this,
as long as I got Bo Chapman, Nick, who has.
Ice water running through his veins, like, crank that up to 11 to me.
So seeing Jonah Coleman here, play of the game, absolutely.
After seeing Emmitt Johnson run off a couple of these things,
you're like, man, why don't we have an easy button like that?
And you see that Sean Payton schemed something up.
He found an answer.
In some ways, this was too quick of an answer
because you see Jonah Coleman completely change this
from the Broncos at this point
after the missed field goal there
by the maligned kicker there.
You see him just go like crazy, crazy athleticism in here.
Get this all the way down.
Incredible catch, incredible design of the play.
And frankly, like, Jaleel McLaughlin could have made that play.
Like, any of the Broncos running backs, Cody could have made that play.
I think J.K. Dobbins would have made this exact play.
There was a ton of plays in this game
that I don't think J.K. Dobbins makes
that Jonah did, but man, what a play design, what a baller,
a guy playing when it mattered most.
I love seeing Jaylen Waddle blocking all the way through.
We saw a lot of Broncos receivers
in this game blocking their tails off.
I want to give Courtland Sutton a massive shout-out.
Really nice play, the end around to Marvin Mims.
The first thing I yelled was, great block, Courtland Sutton,
because you see a guy who has every reason to maybe give up.
He's not getting the 100 yards that he's used to,
but, man, he is blocking his tail off.
See Evan Ingram blocking his tail off on this to open it up.
Seeing Jonah Coleman in here scoring a little too fast.
The first thing I texted my dad was,
oh, man, we gave Patrick Mahomes way too much time.
But at the end of the day, we've got a bunch of dogs on defense.
So not only does Jonah Coleman like hit
this go ahead touchdown to put us up, uh, when
like everyone was clowning on us,
I had the graphic Raider and, and Darcy are texting
me.
Broncos are cooked.
Um, I love that.
Like not only does he hit it,
but he drops the hardest mile high salute that I feel still
in my chest.
Uh, like he is a Denver Bronco.
Like he, he is the answer at the running back position.
We're going to talk more about that in a second.
Uh, and then a huge shout out to our Ben,
but don't break defense because there were
There were so many times where.
You just thought, man, Patrick Mahomes
in this exact situation, he always finds a way
to win.
And that's why I cannot stand the Kansas City Chiefs
is that with the help of the refereeing,
with the help of like questionable, like,
uh, yeah, just like cheating type of plays.
You see Patrick Mahomes always finds
a way to make these kinds of plays work.
Even on this one, you like, no, like you're
not supposed to actually be able to throw
a touchdown pass to
offensive lineman. That should be illegal.
And I just like, thankfully he was down. We didn't
even have to get that measurement
on if the offensive lineman got in, but man, shout out
to our defense for that bend, but don't break.
And I think one of the most impressive things
of that entire defensive performance
was that we did it without Tolanoa Hufanga,
the smartest guy on this defense.
We did this with like a Pat Surtain who clearly was limited.
He's going to keep getting better.
He gets to go now and play a team next week
in the Carolina Panthers who just fired their
defensive coordinator, Idrees Everitt.
So we just know like this is the basement for our team.
And we're at six and two, bro.
Like this is phenomenal.
Our defense is awesome.
And then no one, Brandon Jones went down with a hamstring.
So we are hoping that that does not last long.
Other things I absolutely loved in this game
was Jalen Waddle finally is making appearances.
And I thought he, you know,
there's one play I was like, oh, is that a drop?
And it was an errant throw from Bo Nix.
But him on this goal line type of stand,
I feel like with the Broncos running game now with Jonah Coleman
and with all of these types of receivers
who can make plays in the end zone
in short space like this, we're a cheat code.
Because how many times were the Broncos right in this area
and we found ways to score and score and score?
And again, this is a defense, you guys,
that just held the Seattle Seahawks to 20 points.
This is a really good defense, one of the better defenses in football,
and you still see how many points the Broncos put up in this game.
We still see Broncos go on a run,
despite the fact that we are playing fantastic defenses.
So I love not only the first.
Touchdown catch from Jalen Waddle.
But then my son's favorite part
was that he actually dropped the waddle.
And then my sweet little daughter was dancing around yelling,
waddle, waddle, waddle.
That was cool.
And then, again, this was a gorgeous play design here
because, as you know,
Sean Payton has a couple of two-point conversion plays
that he has drawn up.
Well, we had to use a bunch of those two-point conversion plays
just to get in the end zone.
And so for Sean Payton to be in his bag
and be scheming up all of these things,
I loved Bo Nix at times in this game,
not having happy feet because Bo Nix earlier in
this season, when he was playing other tough defenses,
you see him bail out of a pocket
when he doesn't need to.
And he definitely did not do this tonight.
And man, found Jalen Waddle on this two point conversion,
which obviously made that a three
point game.
Had we missed this, like the Broncos still
would have won, but it just would have been
a totally different ball game without
getting these two point conversions.
And then my favorite play of the day here from Bo Nix was.
Again, you see his pocket maybe collapsing on him.
And again, earlier in the season,
we see Bo Nix bail out to his right and nothing is there.
And what do we see Bo Nix do?
We see him step up and throw here on the run.
And for whatever reason, Bo Nix is a great thrower on the run.
At times, he's a better thrower
on the run than he is when he has his feet set.
And to layer that ball into a wide open Jalen Waddle,
that was a phenomenal throw, a phenomenal
catch.
That is why when Jalen Waddle was traded to Denver,
we all lost our ever loving minds
because he is, he is one of them ones.
So again, incredibly impressive to do this
without Brandon Jones and without Talano Hufanga.
That goes without saying.
Here was the first nice play over the middle
that Bo Nix threw to Cortland Sutton.
You know, we heard J.J. Watt kind of making little statements
like, man, Bo Nix needs to jump off of the high dive.
And the thing that drove me crazy about those was like...
Patrick Mahomes wasn't jumping off the high dive anymore.
Like all of Patrick Mahomes production were on broken plays.
Like the long play to Kelce after
Devan Key slipped on with his cleats,
all of those like little yards after the catch that Emmett Johnson had.
So it's not like Patrick Mahomes
was jumping off the high dive and we had
captain check down.
So all of that,
like noise,
I hope we're starting to filter that out.
All of the panic in all over social media.
I hope you're starting to tune that out, it's
I always am monitoring Twitter as I'm watching
the game to try to make sure I don't miss anything.
And it's almost like there are certain accounts I need to just mute
because you had people just clowning on this team,
acting like we were cooked.
And this entire game, you can ask all the people that I watch.
I'm like, the Broncos are still going to find a way to win this game,
which sounds wild, but they certainly did.
So, Courtland Sutton.
Phenomenal game out of him.
I like where he's at right now at this point in his career.
And again, that he stayed as engaged enough
to actually be like the lead blocker on that
Mims play that got us down into the red zone there.
And even this game could have been even way bigger of a blowout.
Like Patrick Mahomes, they can't stop gushing about him.
They're falling over themselves to say nice things about him
while they're trying to manufacture
things to dog on our quarterback.
But man, even just this, this could have been...
A pick six that would have changed the entire trajectory of that game.
And if the Broncos just find a way to like,
oh, this was another one like this.
I thought that was a super soft pass interference call
that they called on Courtland Sutton,
that there is no way a Chiefs receiver gets called
for that exact same contact.
That to me was absolutely bogus.
Clearly, that puts the Broncos in easier field goal range right there.
Changes the outcome of this game.
And then the batted balls.
I think this is, you know, as we're talking about,
what can the Broncos do to make sure
that we do get that one seed in the AFC?
Is it Jonathan Taylor?
Do we need to go out and get a game changing running back?
To me, it's the offensive line.
And I think especially it's Mike McGlinchey,
that the number of times that Bo Nix had a ball batted tonight
where he had an open receiver and it would have been shocking
had he not made the completion.
You could just see the frustration from Bo.
And I was reading a ton of quotes during the game
from other offensive coordinators, other
NFL people who say batted balls are probably a 50-50 quarterback
and offensive line stat
that the offensive line needs to not get dog walked up
into the quarterback's backside.
And then they need to be punching dudes
in the stomach so that they can't bring their
hands up.
And so I think a lot of the batted balls in this game.
Uh, we're not Bo Nix's fault.
Maybe, you know, maybe half of them were,
and half of them were on his offensive line,
but it doesn't matter.
It's way more exciting to talk about that in a win.
Uh, I think the Broncos absolutely loaded up
to stop Kenneth Walker and then did not
really have a plan for the, uh,
the Chiefs new running back here, Emmitt Johnson, the
cat out of Nebraska, who the Broncos
also liked in the NFL draft because this dude was.
running all over us. And, you know,
I think all of their big plays happened because of,
uh, obviously Emmitt Johnson,
he had over a hundred yards in the first half of that game.
Uh, and then again, bouncing off of tackle.
So the Broncos made the tackles of the dudes that
we were worried about them not making tackles on,
which was Kenneth Walker. And they could
not bring down the guy that none of us even had on our bingo card,
obviously in Emmitt Johnson.
And that's a scary thing, uh, for the future of this team,
uh, knowing that we are going to have
to play the Chiefs for a long time.
And this cat is going to be there. Uh, but again, I think it's
Both Vance Joseph and Sean Payton rely
so heavily on tendencies and film they have
on guys, and there's just not a ton of it
on this cat out of Nebraska, and I expect
that too.
change over time. But man, this guy made a tackle on special teams.
He was the one who had their run back on the kickoff
that got them into great field position.
And then he's just making guys miss all over the place.
So moving forward, if the Chiefs make the playoffs,
which I think is a huge if we're going to cover that later this week.
But I truly think the Chiefs are going to have a hard time making
the playoffs with their schedule. This is going to be a guy
that it's going to be a playoff game in Denver.
We're going to have to have an answer for him for sure.
And then again, here's an example of like when you miss Talanoa,
Hufanga, I'm just confident
that Taylor Rapp.
Admirable job.
He stepped up and been phenomenal.
But I'm just pretty confident that in this situation,
the plan was not to have Alex
Singleton on Rasheed Rice.
And it did look when I was looking at it
on the TV copy multiple times as if this broken
play here should have been on the safety.
But we'll know more when the all 22 drops.
Now, the big question is so many people
are still rumoring Jonathan Taylor to come to
the Denver Broncos.
Jim Nantz and JJ Watt both alluded to it heavily.
We also heard Russell Wilson
in the pregame say he thinks it might even happen tonight.
I am telling you, I don't think that that is the answer at this point.
Knowing the amount of draft capital it would take for him,
I would much prefer to get a
younger guy who takes way less draft capital
in Breece Hall if the Broncos are going to
make that move.
I don't think they need to because the fact
of the matter is Jonah Coleman showed us in
In this game that like he.
He can do it.
This is one of the best running defenses
in all professional football in the Kansas City
Chiefs.
And Jonah Coleman looked phenomenal.
He only had 11 carries and still had 41 yards,
always was moving forward.
And so if I were Sean Payton at this point in time,
I would not be making that call for
a running back.
I'd be way more thrilled to get help
if somebody's selling off a replacement there for McGlinchey.
That would be my move or a Breece Hall.
But that's so much great news as we are looking at this.
Broncos bye week still ahead of us.
We're getting Hufanga back.
We're getting Pat Bryant back.
Patty Ice.
The Denver Broncos are in first place in the AFC West,
and we're not giving it back.
We got nothing but things to believe in.
Aw, man.
