Denver Broncos Are LOVING Today's News...
Oct 30, 2026
Sick of forking them because they are done
and your Denver Broncos are all smiles at today's news
because the Kansas City Chiefs dynasty, it is over.
And that's not some hometown take from a
Denver Broncos diehard fan.
It's actually what their content creators are saying, what their
media is saying, what their beat reporters are saying,
as they're openly calling for the firing
of Andy Reid, the firing of their GM, as there has been.
Absolute negligence here in how they've built
this team around Patrick Mahomes.
The Broncos have huge advantages this week in this game against them.
And once they are in charge of the AFC West,
which is happening on Sunday afternoon,
then the rest of the season is a wrap
because the Broncos schedule gets easier as the Chiefs
gets harder.
We're breaking all that down and way more in this video.
In addition to some crazy NFL trade deadline news
and some last second injury reports.
If you're new here, I'm Ben.
I'm a diehard Broncos fan, and it helps me out
a ton if you love the Denver Broncos.
Smash that like and subscribe button.
Now, I know what you were saying right off the bat.
Man, this team just beat us just a couple of weeks ago,
and it wasn't even close.
It was a horrible, embarrassing loss.
But the fact of the matter was that the Denver Broncos had...
Just a uncharacteristic outlier here
as they had a wild number of missed tackles.
And you look at this, the Broncos are still leading
the NFL in missed tackles this year
because of how abysmal the tackling was in that game.
And I'm just telling you, they have already started to shore that up.
And that is not going to be something
that characterizes this Broncos defense.
We're even hearing guys this week like Nick Benito say that.
When Vance Joseph looks at the tape,
it makes him want to throw up, and this entire team
is going out and playing for Vance Joseph this week
and redeeming the fact that he's
one of the best defensive coordinators
in professional football, because when you actually
look at the data from that game,
you see that the Broncos had everything schemed up perfectly.
They just didn't execute, so this right here,
this chart is showing what the average yards
before first contact was for running backs,
and that's this x-axis down here, and you
see that other than the Arizona Cardinals,
no team was better at hitting the running back
Before they got a ton of yards,
the thing was the Broncos just missed crazy amounts
of tackles.
They had almost 25 missed tackles in that game,
and they've already fixed that, and
we've played other hard running backs,
and you see the tackling issue is not a problem
for this Denver Broncos team.
So right off the bat, the biggest problem
the Broncos had in that Chiefs game, it is
going to be fixed this week.
Now, for whatever reason, in Broncos country and out,
everyone just still props this Chiefs
up as if they are like the Goliath of the NFL.
And the fact of the matter is that they have
not been the Goliath in a long, long time.
And one of the things that has contributed
to this idea that the Chiefs are so good
is the fact that just until last week,
they were one of the few unbeaten teams in the entire NFL.
But there are a ton of conspiracies out there
that actually Roger Goodell
intentionally constructed their first couple games
to be really easy for Patrick Mahomes
coming back after that ACL injury.
And it worked for him, right?
So the Kansas City Chiefs had a crazy easy start to their schedule.
If you take a look at their first five opponents,
they had 11 combined wins.
If you take the Broncos out of that,
the five opponents had six combined wins.
They beat an Indianapolis team
who has gone on and had a fire sale and been like,
we are so bad.
Anyone who is talented on this team,
we're going to trade away for picks.
They beat the Miami Dolphins,
who are going to be tanking for that one pick.
They beat a winless Chargers team,
and they beat a Vegas Raiders team that we know is
not very good.
And so when you take a look at it,
they didn't just have a decently easy schedule.
They had one of the easiest schedules in the history of the NFL.
When you remove the Denver Broncos as one of their opponents,
this jumps up and is even
easier than the Minnesota Vikings have.
Then you look here, you almost have to break
the scale of this graph to show how difficult
the Broncos start of our schedule was.
And yet here we are a half game behind them.
When we win against them on Sunday,
the Broncos are going to have sole possession
of first place in the AFC West.
And then they're not giving it back because as we've broken down,
the Chiefs schedule gets way,
way harder.
So let's dive into a couple other things.
So once they finally had to play a difficult team here,
and that was against the Seattle Seahawks,
the very same team that we had just beat a couple of days earlier.
You see that the Patrick Mahomes led
as many drives into the red zone of the
Seahawks as I did that night.
He got into the red zone zero times.
You just see him throw the ball like a couple
of fumbles that were just abysmal interception
that was embarrassing.
And you just saw that that offense just get completely stymied.
If it were not for the fact that they had gone out
and got Kenneth Walker, I think this
would be the worst offense in football.
And the rest of the NFL agrees with us.
And you just look, the only thing that is working
for Patrick Mahomes are crossing routes.
And you look here that that is a disproportionate amount of his actual.
Uh, progress this season has been on crossing routes
and I'm telling you, the Broncos are
going to take care of that.
And week one is a liar.
We talked about that right after that game,
that how many NFL coaches have said nothing.
You can't trust a single thing you see in week number one.
Uh, the Broncos are going to shore up
what costs them in week number one.
And outside of that, the Chiefs have shown nothing
this season that's scary whatsoever.
You go to other parts of this team
that are just unraveling their kicking game is abysmal
here that they are having a kicking controversy
and somehow went from one controversial kicker
to the next as they went out and signed another kicker.
You're just looking at their own
their own content creators just putting out up stuff
about how bad Chris Jones looks,
how bad Harrison Butker looks, how their left tackle is just
fleeing the team and leaving for nothing.
And just the fact that the Chiefs are truly going
to start looking at moving on from Chris
Jones this offseason, and he's the scariest player
on that entire defense, and he doesn't
even have a full sack to his name yet this season.
Then you look here at just all
of the calls out there for their GM to be fired.
So you're seeing their GM is Brett Veach,
and one of the things that cost the Chiefs
in the Super Bowl that they lost
was that Patrick Mahomes was on the ground the entire
game.
And so what do they end up doing that next offseason?
They trade away a very good guard to the Chicago Bears
who goes on and he's a
nominee to be protector of the year.
And they got a fourth round draft pick for him.
Like that is,
is negligence.
That's malfeasance like that,
that if that,
if George Payton traded Quinn Minor away
for a fourth round draft pick,
we would all be rioting in the street.
Uh,
and you're just seeing here all
these other teams going out and making moves
and what weapon outside of Kenneth Walker scares you on the Chiefs.
You got,
uh,
obviously you have,
Travis Kelce, who's like, what, 37 at this point?
He is not a threat whatsoever.
And then you got Rashee Rice, who was always hurt.
And you got Xavier Worthy,
who's 71st ranked wide receiver in all professional football.
And you're just seeing that, like, man.
Brett Veach has this generational quarterback
in Patrick Mahomes, and yet they have never
figured out the offensive line for him.
The first round draft pick that they
were expecting to block for his blindside, it just
goes AWOL and hasn't has barely played at all.
He's not going to be playing again this week
and that their best offenses and defensive
players for this team were drafted by the guy before Brett Veach.
And again, you look here that they need to get
a pass rush going and the entire Chiefs
defense only has eight sacks on the season.
As I mentioned, Chris Jones only has one sack on the season
and then a ton of injuries
as well here.
It looks as if Mansour Delane,
the cornerback who the Chiefs traded up for in the NFL draft
to get, looks like he is going to be a no-go this week.
And so, yeah, very, very good signs there.
And then you're just seeing across the rest of the NFL,
other people just talking about
like, there's nothing scary about this team.
When Micah Parsons, who may have to play
this team in a Super Bowl someday, you don't put
out bulletin board material about
a team that you're actually scared of.
And so when he says this, you got to believe it.
He came out just yesterday and said the Chiefs don't scare him,
that they are several pieces
away from being back.
This Chiefs team won six games last season.
And that was before Mahomes got hurt.
And they've done nothing to improve the team since then.
Actually, what they've done
is they've lost more talent than they've brought in.
And that was a six-win team last season.
And again, the schedule gets way harder.
And like I had mentioned, there are several Chiefs fans,
several Chiefs creators, a guy
on Chiefs Radio who actually says it is time to send Andy Reid packing.
We know every great coach in the NFL,
at some point, their message runs dry with the
team.
And it seems as if that has happened with Andy Reid.
Um, yes, they've had 13 great years.
They've been in five Super Bowls,
but the last year and a half, it looks as if the Chiefs
have lost it.
And again, that is not me saying it.
That is their own content creator saying that this thing is over.
Rob Gronkowski said the same thing that the dynasty is over.
Uh, and that's great because, uh,
in addition to the fact that they're going to lose this
week, cause the Broncos are fired up, um, more than they've ever been.
When you get embarrassed like that in an opening week,
you know, they have something to prove
this week.
Uh,
Courtland Sutton came out and said, like,
we want to prove that we weren't a fluke.
We were not a flash in a pan.
This is a number one seed in the AFC, and we're legit.
So this is going to be a loss.
And just like that, the Chiefs are a half game back in the AFC West.
And then they've got a couple of decently easy ones.
And then they got to go on the road to Buffalo,
on the road to play the Los Angeles Rams,
on the road to the Cincinnati Bengals, play a tough Patriots team.
Play a tough San Francisco 49er team.
There are a lot of losses here,
and there's still a real world in which the Chiefs
don't even end up making the playoffs.
So I don't think they're going to go 7-10 here,
but the fact is the Kansas City Chiefs dynasty is over,
and I think it's going to be so fun to watch
the Broncos put the death nail in that this week.
Let me know in the comments,
am I way off base here, or are you with me?
Then other big, big news here that we get is that the trade deadline,
it seems like it is hotter than any other time
that I've been a fan of professional football.
It almost feels more like the NBA trade deadline.
Like every year in the NFL, we get hyped up about it, but the trades
never really materialize and it is getting hot and heavy here.
And there's a lot of insiders who are saying that the actual,
the fact that you have a
couple of these trades, it is like a snowball rolling down a hill.
And that is going to cause cascading things
because there's a lot of teams who thought
they were going to be good.
And are, are bad and need to pivot off of that quickly.
And there's a lot of teams who are right on the cusp.
And so there's some great news here in the NFL,
especially for the Broncos.
So I think the first great news here is like,
get your popcorn ready because there's still
a ton of things in motion.
Then we look at, uh, look at really
the track record of our GM and George Payton.
And it's easy to say that he sits on his hands and doesn't do anything.
But when you look at it, he actually makes, um, what is this?
One, two, three, four.
He's the fifth most.
Trade active GM close to the deadline
and the bulk of these trades are happening a day or two
before the deadline for George Payton.
So as we are now waiting until November 10th, just know that
the Broncos could make a move because
while it doesn't feel like George Payton does as much as
like a Jerry Jones, he really is in the big top half here
when it comes to GMs who make moves.
Other interesting news there is that a bunch of the guys
who we have been rumored for
have not been practicing with their team,
which could be a sign that they're being held out
So they don't get injured this week.
And then could get traded next week.
Most NFL trades happen on Tuesday of the week
so that the team can get them in and hopefully
have them play.
And so a trade this late in the week very, very rarely happens.
So Saquon Barkley, one of the guys
who's been rumored to the Broncos, is being held out
and not practicing.
And then Tony Pollard also being held out
for the Tennessee Titans and not practicing.
Really big signs that might they be trade pieces there.
Other great news that we get here is it
is seeming as if the Chargers are going to be
starting to sell.
So not only does Derwin James go on the IR,
the Broncos still have to play the Chargers
this year.
If they are moving away from Khalil Mack and Derwin James,
that Chargers defense is a lot
easier.
The other thing that I've loved about trades right now,
it seems as if the NFC is totally
loading up.
And you look here at the Miles Garrett trade,
you look at the Trent McDuffie trade.
You look at the Dallas Cowboys getting
the two best defenders from the Jets.
You look at the DeForest Buckner trade.
You look at the Quinn Nelson trade.
All of these trades, it's like AFC teams sending
their best player to an NFC opponent.
And I love that.
You cannot look at teams in the AFC and see them getting better.
And so the only way that impacts the Broncos here is obviously
when you go to the Super Bowl,
you'll be playing tougher teams.
But we know the Broncos just need to get to the Super Bowl
and then you trust Sean Payton more than anyone else
to scheme up a victory against anyone he's playing.
But I love seeing the AFC taking the best players out of the AFC
and throwing them on another conference altogether.
I think that is really good news for the Broncos.
And then in addition here,
it seems as if the Broncos have officially been named
in the Jonathan Taylor sweepstakes
as the Bengals and the Broncos are both showing a big interest
in Jonathan Taylor.
And in my estimation, man,
I don't think the Bengals can afford to put more money towards
another offensive player.
And so I think the Broncos might be the leader in the clubhouse.
And I love where this is playing out time-wise,
because I think you now have this opportunity
this week, make Jonah Coleman, the bell cow back,
and let's see how he does against a
divisional opponent.
Who's really good against the run.
And if he pops off and has a great game,
then maybe you say, all right, let's hold our
horses.
Let's not go out and get a running back.
But I think this is a great place for the Broncos
to be in where you got AFC just shedding
talent and the NFC is the conference getting way better.
Last piece of news here is that we
are getting great news here as you see Patrick Sertan
and Jalen Waddle participate in practice, which is great.
And I think then you also had Pat Sertan
do an interview today, which is usually a sign
that he's going to play in the game.
The one bad news here is that Hufanga is not practicing.
And again, I think that is definitely a concern.
You trust Vance Joseph to scheme around that.
But man, of all weeks, I would love to have me some Hufanga.
It's this week where if the Broncos stop the run,
the Broncos beat the Kansas City Chiefs
and they beat them by a country mile.
But Broncos country, the Chiefs are cooked.
We got nothing but things to believe in.
Boo in the ball.
Don't lie.
