Denver Broncos Path to the #1 Seed Just Got WAY Easier...
Nov 3, 2026
Oh, your Denver Broncos path to the one seed
in the AFC just got a lot easier and we get even
more great news after demoralizing our division opponents,
the Kansas City Chiefs. If you were
bullish on this team yesterday at this time,
after hearing this news and seeing the Broncos
path to the one seed, I hope you're losing
your ever loving mind with excitement. If you're new
to this channel, I'm a diehard Broncos fan named Ben.
I was the one telling you when the Broncos
were two and two and nobody thought we had a shot at the division.
ESPN actually said our chances
making the playoffs at that time.
We're in the teens. And I said, stay there.
the course. Sean Payton teams get better as the season progresses.
Bo Nix plays his best football
in the months of November and December.
Well, guess what? We are in November. We're in the
midst of a four-game win streak, and we are just getting started.
Smash the like and subscribe
button if you still believe this team is getting the one seed.
Let's dive in here. So it is amazing
here to see ESPN finally starting to give us some love
with their advanced models, showing that the
Broncos now are close to a 60% chance of winning the AFC West,
which is phenomenal because had we
Yesterday, our chances of winning
the AFC West dropped down to 20%, which I still think
even if we lost yesterday
because of how hard the schedule is for the Chiefs, I think they
might even have a hard time making the playoffs.
But you see right now, Broncos have a 94% chance
of making the playoffs outright, meaning
like they're saying like it's almost a done deal
that the Broncos are going to make the
playoffs.
And for all of those people saying like,
why am I always glass half full?
Why don't I ever say anything negative about this team?
As soon as there's something negative to say about this team.
I'll be the first person to do that since I started this channel.
And it's totally correlation, not causation.
But the Broncos have been one of the winningest teams
in all of professional football.
Going back to last season, no quarterback
has more victories than Bo Chapman Knicks.
And so I had nothing but good things to say
because the Broncos have done nothing but
good things.
And they are about to take this AFC West
and the AFC outright because you look at going
into this game.
Chiefs fans all over the place.
There's none of them bigger than how about them?
Chiefs, my main man, Cole, who I've interviewed for this channel,
basically was looking at
this and saying, hey, the Chiefs after a loss
to the Seahawks and now the Broncos don't
have RJ Harvey.
Jaylen Waddle is banged up.
Bo Nix is not playing well.
He doesn't do well against man coverage.
And he said, if KC loses, I'll go ahead and dig my grave in advance.
Well, the Broncos went out and absolutely demolished
and demoralized the Kansas City
Chiefs.
We're now sitting at this point here where...
Had Bo Nix not had that field goal blocked
from Will Lutz in Kansas City, his record
against the Chiefs would be pristine here,
but really going back to these past couple
seasons, the Broncos are 4-1 against the Chiefs,
and really it is just that outlier of week
number one, and I love looking at this team now
who has two losses, one of which they
just vindicated by beating the Chiefs back
on their home turf, and then on top of that
the other loss.
It's the only other team
who's like at the top of the NFC in the San Francisco 49ers
who are really hard to beat in San Francisco.
So nothing but good things ahead for the Broncos.
I think looking at a lot of the advanced analytics
from that win against the Chiefs,
it gets more and more impressive the more ways you look at it.
I love this stat that Ari Delala put out.
He works for the Denver Broncos,
and he pointed out that going into last night, the Kansas
City Chiefs had one of the best red zone defenses
in all professional football.
They've had multiple games where teams get
into the red zone and they don't.
are lucky if they come away at the field goal
because the Chiefs sack them, they get them out
of field goal range, and that they hadn't allowed
a touchdown in the red zone over their past eight
attempts. And last night, your Denver Broncos went three
for three in the red zone. And then on top
of it, like we got to two point conversion.
So it was like we dominated in the red zone and on two
point conversions. That is so difficult to do.
You're looking here. These are the best red zone
defenses in football.
And you're seeing here that teams only get a touchdown on 38% of their
Drives against the Chiefs once they get to the red zone.
They've only allowed five touchdowns in the red zone all season.
Well, the Broncos had three of them last night.
And then the two on top of that with the two-point conversions,
as far as I'm concerned, those
are like other red zone drives.
So the Broncos basically did what the rest
of the NFL had done all year long against
the Chiefs in one game.
Very exciting there.
And then on top of it, you just look
at the gauntlet that we've gone through.
Last night, the Broncos put up 28 points
on one of the best defenses in football,
and you can't help but look at the best defenses
in football on this graphic right here
and just be like, oh, Seattle Seahawks.
Yeah, we played them.
We beat them.
Jacksonville Jaguars.
We played them.
We beat them.
Los Angeles Rams.
We played them.
We beat them.
San Francisco 49ers.
We played them tighter than any other team had
played them outside of just that weird game
where they had four turnovers against
the Atlanta Falcons and then Kansas City Chiefs,
the other best defense in football.
We played them and we beat them.
There is nothing but good things to say about this team
because truly the sky is the absolute limit you're looking here.
Last night there was a lot to be cleaned up,
but I was really impressed with how our offensive line
did not allow Bo Nix to be pressured in ways
that obviously the Chiefs need to have happen.
You look here last night that the Chiefs had the lowest pressure rate
that they have had at any time since 2012,
and that is just a great stat
because we know how great the Chiefs have been for all these years.
And that they go from pressuring Bo Nix on one out of every five
dropbacks in week one to two out of every 34 all night last night.
Just phenomenal there from our offensive line.
And then the thing that makes me most hyped is truly like,
yes, we have the X's and O's talent on the field.
But we know that culture eats strategy
and culture eats talent for breakfast.
And just seeing that all of those media narratives about how Sean
Payton isn't a player's coach and people don't like playing for him.
Sean Payton last night became the sixth fastest coach
in NFL history to reach 200 wins as
a coach.
And so he was given a game ball
and the Denver Broncos put out this incredible video in the
locker room of the entire Denver Broncos team just rallying around him.
And this is as exciting to me as like like
that looks like what it will look like when
we win a Super Bowl in February.
Like this is a team that has culture just oozing out of it.
You see Cody Rourke who's covered the.
The Tebow Broncos, the Peyton Manning
Broncos, he's covered a ton of them.
And he says the best culture
and the best locker room he has covered since covering
professional football.
So like that is all you need to see that this team is built different.
And we are sitting at six and two.
We're basically halfway through the schedule.
17 doesn't divide evenly.
And so after next week, like we'll be beyond halfway today.
We're not quite halfway.
But if this extrapolates out.
The Broncos have played the tough part
of their schedule and are at six and two.
And so that extrapolates out to obviously 12 and four.
And I think because our schedule actually
gets easier, uh, that we're going to actually
be, be even better than that.
And it is a lot of it due to the fact that of our culture,
um, I just cannot help but
look at so many of the plays as the all 22 are dropping.
And seeing guys who you don't even think of as being good blockers
and guys who lay it out there for their team,
I love on this go-ahead touchdown for Jonah Coleman.
Who is the guy setting this game-winning block?
It's Marvin Mims, the only guy on the team
who probably weighs less than me.
And he probably doesn't because he's yoked up.
But to see Marvin Mims setting
a game-winning block on this is incredible.
We know Cortland Sutton had incredible blocks in that game.
Last game, James Merillat pointed out that...
On our two fourth down touchdowns in the red zone,
it was Cortland Sutton who was drawing
multiple double teams on that because
he's typically the red zone target.
And afterwards, he said, I'm happy that that's what I did.
I'm happy that that is my role because all I care about is winning.
He was the one who set the really incredible block
that actually set up Marvin Mims, which
got us into the red zone earlier in that game.
This Broncos team is oozing out culture,
and you should be really, really excited about it.
Sean Payton giving the team extra time off,
which I think is really well deserved after
this huge gauntlet here to really kind of be peaking right now.
It is just really phenomenal news for the Denver Broncos.
And then as we talk about things that need to be cleaned up,
and I know things that will get fixed,
Sean Payton kind of addressed what I had rumored last night,
which was that I think a lot
of the batted balls were not Bo Nix's fault.
It was actually the offensive line.
And they need to clean up how they're doing protection
and obviously be punching dudes in the stomach and in the gut
so they don't have time to get their hands up.
And he basically points out that same thing, that there were a couple
of protection issues, which is what the batted balls were.
It was not Bo Nix, you know, making errant throws.
So all that really, really great news.
And then when you look at why is the path to the one seed even easier?
I just think you look at.
Obviously, like the Baltimore Ravens losing
their starting quarterback, Lamar Jackson,
the Baltimore Ravens are going to be out of the hunt.
And then we see other key injuries happen
in the Jacksonville Jaguars, I think are going
to be one of those other teams
who are gunning for that one seed in the AFC.
And they lost one of their best defensive players.
The thing that makes Jacksonville
so tough to beat is they're really, really hard to
run against.
And the linchpin of their running game is Devon Hamlin, right?
Or Hamilton right here.
It looks as if he's going to be out for the rest
of the season, obviously not gloating
about a small market team losing a dude.
But, you know, anytime the path for the Broncos gets easier,
we got to report on it and talk
about it.
So let's look here.
Really, what is it going to take for the Broncos to get that one seed?
And it feels a little premature
to be like going through wins and losses.
And so what I have pulled in here are just a couple of the key games.
I took away any game where a team was favored
by multiple touchdowns or by seven or more
points in a game.
And so here's really what needs to happen.
So I think the Broncos need to get to that 14
and three mark because of how
easy the Jaguars schedule is moving forward.
I think three losses is going to be like
the cap that the Broncos can get to.
So really they can only afford to lose one more game.
But I also think that's not a big deal
because really you're looking at the
three hardest games here remaining.
It's going to be the Pittsburgh Steelers
on the road on Black Friday, a game I'm planning on
getting up super early in the morning and driving with to my son,
which will be super cool. And then
away game at Buffalo or a home game at Buffalo
or Buffalo at home on Christmas Day. And then
on a away game with the New England Patriots.
So really, you can afford to drop one of those games.
And if you win the rest of them out
that here's what needs to basically happen. So
We really just need to cheer against the Buffalo Bills.
They have a bunch of games that could go either way as well for them,
which makes it even easier.
If the Minnesota Vikings find a way to beat Buffalo next week
on Monday Night Football, that changes the formula to get the one seed.
But really, I think the Buffalo Bills beat the Chiefs here
on Thanksgiving night here.
And then I think the Buffalo Bills are
going to beat the New England Patriots.
And then here, the Green Bay Packers, we need to cheer for the Packers.
And then as long as the Broncos beat the Bills
and they get at least one more loss here,
that's really all that we need to happen
to win the tiebreaker with the Buffalo Bills.
Steelers, again, if we take care of business and beat them,
that's all we need to worry about.
So really, it's Jacksonville Jaguars.
And as long as we have the same number of losses as they do,
we are going to win the head-to-head
because clearly we beat them at home this season.
There's a bunch of games on their schedule,
easiest schedule in the entire NFL moving
forward.
I think really our best hope is that the Chicago Bears find
a way to beat the Jacksonville
Jaguars.
So we're going to have to be cheering for the Bears on Sunday,
December 6th, because
truly if they end up winning out,
which is a big probability here, then the Broncos also
would have to win out, which we've already like,
I mean, we've been in all these one
score games.
It's crazier things that have happened than the Broncos winning out.
But I think the most likely scenario is that we
do end up either dropping this game to
Pittsburgh or dropping the game to the New England Patriots.
Both of those are really tough places to play.
So we either need the Jags to drop a game
or we both need to win out if the Broncos
want a path to the one seed.
But other big news here is that we know
the NFL trade deadline is like a week away.
One of the things that's really interesting to keep our eye on is what
are the Broncos going to do with that running back position?
Did we see enough from Jonah Coleman last night
to know he is the guy moving forward? I think we did.
I truly do. I think the big thing is,
can Jonah Coleman stay healthy for an entire playoff push?
I think Jonah Coleman, J.K. Dobbins,
and R.J. Harvey is the backfield that we had hoped it would be.
But again, that is a lot of eggs
to be putting in the Jonah Coleman basket.
And so maybe the Broncos are going to be continuing
to hit the phones as they are really talking
about Brees Hall.
Obviously, Jonathan Taylor is the biggest name on the trade market.
But another one that has popped up pretty recently
is the fact that because the Baltimore
Ravens are going to be without Lamar Jackson,
their chances of making the playoffs are negligible
at best.
And so might Derrick Henry fall?
Also be a guy that the Broncos could trade for.
So if you're now talking Bryce Hall, Derrick Henry,
and Saquon Barkley's name has been in there, and Jonathan Taylor.
I think you have four game-changing running backs,
and it sounds like Jonathan Taylor will
be the most expensive of all of them.
And so that's definitely going to be something to keep an eye on.
It also has been reported that the Ravens might
be looking for a backup quarterback.
So if the Broncos at the trade deadline could be sellers,
and not because we're not in the playoff hunt,
But because we want to get something for.
Jarrett Stidham or Sam Ellinger,
that could be something really interesting to keep our eyes on.
But man, feeling even better than I was about
the Broncos at this time yesterday.
And I knew the Broncos were going to win.
And it still feels absolutely incredible
because your Broncos are going to get the one seed in the AFC.
We got a ton to believe in.
The ball. Don't lie. I'm back.
