November warmth on the way with the first raindrops in weeks in view for Brooklyn

Hey Marcy, we have a marvelous Monday ahead of us. The leaves are just blowing and it is going to be a beautiful day if you have any outdoor plans. Here's what's new. We're tracking some wet weather later on in the week. Today makes it day 16 without any measurable rainfall. We've had a dry stretch and that's coming to an end this week. It is comfortably mild right now. Temperatures are in the mid to upper 60s. Pleasant breeze out of the southwest right around 5 to 10 miles per hour. And what's coming up next? Temperatures are trending warmer than normal throughout the entire week. Next week, that's a different story. We're actually going to get back to seasonable or even below normal. In the meantime, you're seeing just a few high, thin, wispy clouds all associated with the storm system off to our south. Not going to provide us with any rainfall, just some clouds, near high pressure, keeping us nice and dry. But temperatures are, again, above normal, our average high. In the upper 50s, mid to upper 60s this afternoon, the clouds will clear out overnight and temperatures will be falling into the upper 40s to low 50s. So whether you're heading out Bay Bridge, you're at 48 degrees, 51 in Coney Island, right around 50 degrees in East New York. You'll need that heavy jacket, maybe a sweater if you have any late night plans. Again, we're not seeing any chances of wet weather until the end of this week. Thursday into Friday, we want to have your umbrellas with you. All associated with this cold front is going to swing right into our area and give us some rainfall and even some breezy conditions. Some of this rain can even linger into early Saturday morning, so something worth watching. In the meantime, here's what's coming up. Your election day forecast, how long will this warm-up last, and even our next chance of rain. I'll give you guys a closer look at the timing, the impact, and your exclusive 10-day coming up in just a few minutes. Don't go anywhere.
