Sen. Rick Scott remarks at Daytona Beach rally

So, is there anything better than a Trump rally? So, later on, we're going to hear from somebody, and let's just think of what Trump's gone through to get here. The guy's been indicted, he's been shot, they tried to bankrupt him, they ransacked his house, and guess what? He's still standing. Anybody who doesn't admire what this guy has gone through is wrong. He loves this country. He has fought each and every day. Now, how many of you have gone to a Trump rally before? I think, I might be off, he'll probably tell you, but I think this is the 29th rally this and the last month or so. The guy is an Energizer Bunny. He doesn't stop. So, now, do we have a reason to vote to support Donald Trump? So think about all the promises this guy has made that he's kept. Is the border secure? Are terrorists out of this country? Has he sent criminals out of the country? You're damn right he has. He's done exactly what he said he was going to do, right? He said he's going to turn around the economy. You see the GDP numbers? Over 3%. He's bringing investment back. He's bringing jobs back. He's holding people accountable. He's stopping the fraud. He's making sure Iran doesn't kill us with a nuclear weapon. He's not allowing men playing women's sports. He's fighting anti-Semitism. It goes on and on. The guy never sleeps. I can tell you that's for sure. Because he'll call me at 11.30 at night. I don't want to be awake at 11.30. He says, Rick, you're not asleep, are you? Of course not. My wife just laughs at me because I always say, no, no, Mr. President, I'm not asleep. But here's what we have to do. If we don't get out there and get our votes in, there's not going to be any support for his agenda. Let's think about what the Democrats are going to do if they have the House. They're going to impeach him. So he's going to spend all this time. Over junk, like the last two impeachments, which were complete fraud. Anything he wants to pass from a legislation standpoint won't pass the House. If we don't control the Senate, guess what? He's had great nominees. None of them will get confirmed. So we have to do this. It's really, I think you should be selfish. You should do it for your family. But Trump is busting his butt and we got to help him. Now, you have helped me win two governor's races and two Senate races. Now, I wouldn't have won but for what you did. And by the way, you got the votes out. But let me tell you why the next few days is so important. In 2010, when I ran for governor, there were 568,000 more Democrats registered than Republicans. And we kicked their butts. How did we do it? Republicans showed up and voted. We got more of our votes out than they got. We've got to do the next thing. We've got to do the exact same thing now. We've got to do it. We've got to get our, anybody has a mail-in ballot, it's got to get it in. But on election day, we've got to get everybody out to vote. The way that we're going to win is you've got to bug the living daylights out of people. Nobody says, oh, I'm so excited to go stand in line at the voting booth. Nobody likes that. But think about it. We love our country. We love what this president's done to our country. So we have to go bug everybody we can. On Tuesday, if we want Byron Donalds as our governor, which we do, if we want Ashley Moody to win the Senate race, if we want to win all these congressional races up and down the line, all the statewide races, all that we want to win, we have got to get our votes in. It's all doable. We've been doing it all my elections. The first three elections I had, there were more registered Democrats than Republicans. We kicked their butts, and you did it. I'm really proud of this president. He's going to come, and you're going to have an unbelievable speech. He has so much to brag about, but we've got to help him make sure we win. So, first off, two things. Thank you for all the support you've given me. I've got nine offices in Florida and an office in D.C. If you need something, it's my job, so call me. Now, 3 million people a year call me, but welcome Donald Trump with open arms and then bust your butt. To make sure we win every Republican seat we can in this great state. Have a great night.
