In 2022, the New York City Board
of Elections estimates about 246,833 voters came out on day
six of early voting.
On day six of this year, that number jumped to 400,137.
That's about a 62%
increase. Some of the biggest jumps were in the Bronx,
with 23,111 voters in 2022
and 41,629 this election. But what I can gather is
There's just a lot of feeling of frustration and excitement.

um, schools and things that truly do affect
your life every day.
Voters like Joseph George say he's hoping for change.

You know, I couldn't pay my utility bills, you know,
all these things I have not experienced in
the last 30 years, you know,
so now something is happening that needs to be changed.
And he says voting early makes his life easier.
My wife, as I said, is disabled, so I would want to avoid
the crowd on Election Day, the long lines that sometimes occur.
Election Day is on November 3rd. In Brooklyn, Julia Burns, News 12.
