Concept 2 Model D Rowing Machine Unboxing + Set Up

Hello, good morning. So today we have a new piece of equipment I'm going to unbox and set up. Hopefully you can tell by the name concept too, it's actually a row machine. I got the D version. I looked at the E version but there's £1000 and for the extra money I couldn't actually see any tangible benefits. I couldn't for the life of me find out what's actually better about it. Apparently it's a bit higher from the ground and something about the console is closer to you or something like that but that sort of thing doesn't bother me. I got the classic D version. It's actually the same version that's in my gym. But yeah let's unbox it and see what it's about and I'll give you a nice little setup video just in case you guys... I'm looking to get one myself so underneath I'll be placing these floor mat type of things just to give it some more support Thank you for your support. Hopefully make it look a bit nicer soak up some of the sweat, but yeah, let's crack these open It doesn't actually look like I have enough. I'm not sure I should have really checked the dimensions Before I bought it, but yeah, I'm not sure if it would be enough But we'll crack it open Always be careful when handling knives Always be careful when handling knives. Probably best to put this down. Okay, we'll leave it at this for now. I reckon that may be enough. Okay. This is how it comes packaged, quite nice. Cut myself. Just going to get rid of some of this rubbish. It's very important to keep a clean working environment. So yeah, I'm going to just take a little break and get rid of some of this rubbish. Recover from my injuries and get back on to it. Okay, I'm scared a little bit. So what you're doing is you get the wheels facing towards you, you get a short one of these metal beams, you place it on there and you place the longer one coming towards you. Thank you. This is going to be tricky. And then you get one of the screws that comes in the packet. So once you get the first one in and then you get this rest in. So once you've done this part you place it underneath the rowing machine, so the upside down. And the shorter leg goes towards, well, away from the wheel thing, so there's some holes here, so we'll just put it in place. Okay, so now, last time, we will, oh, it's quite heavy. Flip it over. We're going to need a bigger mat. It's like a little puzzle made by a spoon. Also, isn't that upside down? Are the mats upside down? No, I'd say that's top. I don't think that one is, but... The packaging, so... Packaging. Ah! The mats are upside down. This kid's going to be terrible. Too bad. Finally, I think we have the mats sorted. So let's get this back on. It's not too heavy actually. Okay, so for the final parts, we have to lift this up. And there you have it. Completely set up Concept Model D. Put the screen there and that's it. Set up. Fully working. I have the foot straps here, you can lower and adjust these straps depending how big your feet are. But yeah that's basically it, I'll set it up and show you how it goes. Okay so I finally have it set up, fits perfectly and yeah as you can see it's working very nicely. So as you can see it's working very nice, it was quite easy to set up, the whole thing cost me £850, you've got to spend pounds to lose pounds, but hopefully it's going to provide me with a lot of great workouts, and a lot of videos will be coming out on this channel featuring this piece of equipment, so if you have any suggestions please let me know, but thanks so much for watching, I hope you understand how to set up a machine if you get one yourself, so thanks so much for watching, and I'll see you next time.
