We are back with another video
and it is another rowing machine.
It is a pure water rower. Now
we're going to unbox it, put it together
and put this thing to the test and see what it's made of,
give you guys a full-on review for your home workout setup.
Now overall the assembly process
was very, very simple.
It only took me about 16 minutes to put this thing together. One of
the first things you notice with these rowers especially
from Meray is that wood finish which
is visually nice and appealing for having it in your house use it
when you want break it down
put it in the corner and it's not going to stick out like
a sore thumb second thing you notice is
just the quality you know everything feels solid it is built well
and strong and this thing is
built to last. Now let's talk about the seat.
Not too soft and not too hard. It's just right to where
you feel like you're sitting on something soft enough
to do long workouts. Comparing this seat
that Meray makes to the Concept 2, which I've also used,
I prefer their seats because it's got a
little softer. I don't feel like I'm sitting on a plank
or a piece of wood like I do on some other
rowers that I've tested in the past.
Then we've got the foot straps, right? Quality foot straps
that are meant to last very easy to adjust
and put on especially with these little rings that
they come with you have the adjustable
for you know different sized feet and it doesn't feel
flimsy or cheap feels like it's built
to last again handle ergonomic nice and solid nice and
sturdy then you have the display which is adjustable
so you can break it down when you
don't want it and then put it up
when you want it you can set your time distance basically keep
track of your workouts while you're using it
but as you guys heard me say water rower this one does
require some water and they sent over
a nice little water pump with it to make it super easy
to fill it up with water here's the pump here's
the tube this feeds into any water source that
you have and fill it up once we have enough water
in this compartment right here we are ready to
start the workouts one thing to bear in mind
is depending on how much water you put in is how much
resistance you're going to get out of the machine one tip
is do not get rid of this if you ever want
to change the resistance you can always just feed
this tube right back in here and take out the
amount of water that you want to get it back down
to the resistance level that you want to have the
machine now let's set up and actually give this thing
a good old test run and it feels comfortable
enough to even use barefoot very easy to strap grab the handles
and we're gonna pull and yeah
feels pretty standard resistance
for water rowers i don't feel anything off i don't feel anything
that's not working properly and i feel like i can sit here
and get a good solid 30 minutes to an
hour without feeling any kind of discomfort you know
with like a hard seat or with my legs slipping
out my feet slipping out i feel like i could
do this for a consistent period of time which is
exactly what you want with rowers it is meant
to be a cardio endurance workout let me show you how
quickly this thing breaks down
when you're done with it you want to put it away you put the screen
down as you lift it up it literally closes up right there
and it is ready to store wherever
you want you can see i can just put it right over here
in my corner bam doesn't stick out like a
sore thumb visually you know appealing doesn't really look it's easy
to move around rolls around
on the wheels sets up breaks down in mere seconds
and it's pretty much everything you could want
with a rower to use in your home whether you have a big space
or a small space this thing will work
for you final verdict final rating i give
this a solid 10 out of 10. for a water rower this is
everything that you could want you can even fit
this in a closet with ease that that brings a lot
of value i think that a lot of rowers don't
your standard rowers are huge they have to detach into
two separate pieces this does not it is built to quality
and when it comes to rowers for the price
that you're paying for it
and what you get from that price you are getting every dollar's worth
Highly recommend Mareik and they keep coming out with newer
and better models. I've tested
several of their rowers in the past.
Whether you're in an apartment, in a big house, it is
going to be a great addition for your home as a piece
of equipment to get your cardio workouts in
and get your rowing workouts done.
