Breezy & mild Friday before turning cooler this weekend

It's not observed there. And I've got to tell you, we live in a place that's floor-to-ceiling windows, so it just roasts on us. And so we're like, okay, four o'clock, you know that four o'clock sunset? Yeah, it makes it feel a little bit better. Yeah, and we can open the shades again. Yeah, but it's dark. But it's dark, I know. But not too bad for a morning show, by the way. I'll be here Sunday. Oh, okay. Doing the morning show. Okay, I won't be here. Oh, okay. Yeah, I feel like I knew that. but at least but it's not too bad because you get an extra hour absolutely and you get that extra hour especially when you have to wake up so early right for work it gives you that refreshing feel but you know what it just it's not good in the spring when you spring ahead right so that's the only catch there but hey 11 days so far dry weather today we'll mark day 12 once we get through it and while it lasts another seven days including today with the longest days of dry weather back in january february this could actually be our longest one of the year but it doesn't put us in a deficit really for the year overall. It puts us in the deficit for the monthly rainfall normal, right? So about an inch and a half below normal here, both for the year and for the month. So maybe we'll recover. Maybe we won't. Otherwise, there's not much really to recover from, as we're not looking at any kind of dangerous weather conditions as a result of this dry period we're having. It does change, though, next week, as we expect to see some rain on Friday. For tonight, 53, a sprinkle tomorrow morning north and west. Probably just dry, though, for the most part. We expect to see a pleasant and sunny experience Friday afternoon. High temperatures jump to about 70. Feels good, looks good. It is good. And as we lean into Friday night and Saturday, it's going to be exceptional as well. Saturday, well, Halloween. For those who celebrate, enjoy the spooky day. I'll have an eerie chill as we expect temperatures to be in the upper 50s. You see what I did there. Looks good for trick-or-treat, too. So beautiful sunshine, few thin, creepy clouds come through. And aside from that, Sunday, marathon day, excellent for running. So for those who do need to run on Sunday through the city on the Five Borough Marathon, looks good. As you can see here in our 10-day forecast, we see the change in the pattern, though, by the end of next week.
