Dry and comfortable overnight; warmer Friday with a few rain chances next week

It's been a while. Yeah, it's crazy to think that it's been 14 years already. And yeah, not too soon after that. We did have some winter weather, too, if you remember. And yeah, we did. We don't even have any rain to talk about really here, let alone snow. Really like a non forecast at the moment. I mean, it's a forecast. It's just a really dry one. And that's continuing for about another week, Joe. So we have basically a dry weather continuing through. The upcoming weekend, a couple of little rain chances as we head towards the middle part of next week. But the next best chance is probably towards the end of next week. So heading into November, it's going to be another warmer day on Friday with temperature right around 70 degrees. A bit breezy as well. Halloween still looking good. And again, those clocks go back. Early on Sunday morning, still a fall feel low 60s with a mix of sun and clouds looking great still over the next couple of days. I do want to focus in on Halloween a little bit more, a little bit cooler than it was looking earlier in the week, but still close to 60 in the afternoon. It starts off sunny with a light wind and then more of a mix of sun and clouds towards the mid afternoon and early evening and then by seven o'clock, partly cloudy and getting slightly chillier than right around 50 degrees. So as we go throughout this evening, it's mostly clear to partly cloudy and it's going to stay quite mild overnight with low temperatures. In the mid. 50s. Typically this time of the year, we're more closer to the lower 40s really for those late night and early morning temperatures. And then as we go through Friday morning, a couple of patchy fair weather clouds in the morning and then mostly sunny in the afternoon with temperatures in the upper 60s to near 70 degrees. So overnight tonight, low temperatures around 55 in Valley Stream, 54 in Smithtown, low 50s also in and around Riverhead and the Hamptons, partly cloudy, a nice and comfortable night, a little bit of a light breeze out of the southwest that will become a cooler breeze out of the northwest. A couple of gusts between 20 and 30 mph throughout the day tomorrow, but it's a warm day under a lot of sunshine and then Friday night a little bit more chilly, more what you might expect it to feel like this time of the year, the lower 40s. So here's the full look ahead. Dry through the weekend. Next week will be dry through Wednesday in the mid 60s. A few scattered showers Thursday, likely some steadier rain by next Friday ahead of a cooler weekend next weekend.
