Halloween weekend cooldown: Temps tumble in Mass. after warm, windy Friday

A late-week warm-up will push temperatures into the upper 60s Thursday and Friday, but it won’t last long. A cold front will usher in a sharp cooldown heading into Halloween weekend.

Saturday will feature sunshine with highs in the low to mid 50s, while trick-or-treat temperatures are expected to fall into the 40s. Plus, winds could gust up to 30 mph Friday.
