Let's switch gears. It's 8:37 now.
And Brian, what a different picture we're seeing at the state
capital in Olympia there, where we're seeing kind of a,
you know, misty, drizzly look.
Just some light showers right now down
in Olympia after heavier rain developed
in the overnight period.
Now we're going to be starting to see some sunshine break through
as the day goes on, but cooler air is in place,
which means chillier temperatures for us
coming up. Up to the north in Everett,
we are still seeing some lighter to more moderate rainfall.
Lake Stevens you're also getting a little bit
of that too down in Olympia there's those light
showers that we just saw
on the camera let's talk about rainfall totals we've had a half inch of
rain now for the month
but we're still at the second driest October on record up to this point
in the month however today's rain
that we've gotten since midnight should help things out a
little bit current temperatures are into the mid 40s we're going
to be looking today at a decent
afternoon, sun breaks. However,
there may be some isolated thunderstorms or heavier downpours as we
get into the afternoon, even
though those showers are going to be more spaced out. So if you have
yard work to do, wet leaves once again.
Soccer this evening, there could be some shower at times
and it's going to be overall a cooler evening for us.
So afternoon showers, some more mountain snow
that'll be mainly up in those higher pass levels.
I'm talking Stevens and White. And then as we get
into tomorrow. Those snow levels jump up just a little bit.
We're going to be back up to around
4,000 to 4,500 feet for our snow levels.
And then by the time we get into your weekend and early
next week, we'll see those snow levels soar
because we're going to be warming up a little
bit. But next few days look cool.
Once we get past Friday midday, we're going to be looking at
showers decreasing and then finally ending.
Saturday through Tuesday looks dry and we should
be a bit warmer as we get into Monday
and Tuesday with temps back in the mid to upper 50s. All right,
Adam, how do the roads look here?
