Like I said, it's all tears of joy.
Quite a bit of rain too. But it is a very nice morning.
I think folks are waking up in a great mood,
regardless of anything weather-wise.
But you're right, the parade forecast is pretty clutch here
and we're headed into a big weekend for the trick-or-treaters.
But let's stay in the here and now and then we'll of course go out
to your full six-day planner and probably beyond too.
That narrow band of rain and some thunderstorms made
its way through the state. In fact, it was actually pretty intense
in northwestern parts of the state as it rolled through the area.
It hasn't quite completed its trek through
our neck of the woods just yet.
It is slowly making its way in.
And behind it, yes, it is cooler.
By comparison, all of this air is still well above average.
Now, if we zoom in a little bit here,
you see this little kink in the wind streams?
That's where that front is starting to push in.
Ahead of it, we're still getting this mild southwesterly flow.
The front will clear, and that'll kind of flatline
our temperatures through the afternoon.
But again, still above average throughout the day today.
We dry up, we clear up,
and things look spectacular heading into our Friday morning.
But by Friday night, some of this rain will roll in.
So let's go track things with Sky Vision Plus.
We'll show you tomorrow's weather today.
Now again, we have a few more showers through the morning,
but by 7 or 8 at the very latest, we've completely dried up.
And by 9 or 10, the sun is already breaking through.
We'll spend the afternoon in the sunshine with a breezy northwest wind,
very comfortable conditions overall.
And still, even as we go through the night tonight with that cooler air
mass and clear skies, we don't get all that chilly for late October.
For Friday, we start off very sunny.
We get a few more clouds going,
but we're generally dry through the daylight hours.
As the sun starts to set, some showers start to work their way in,
and they fill in through the overnight into Saturday morning.
So parade plans, unless we're doing some sort of crazy nighttime
parade, we should be pretty good weather-wise on Friday.
Saturday's got the big question mark on it because, of course,
trick-or-treat forecast here.
We have picked up a little bit of rain through the overnight
and it's gotten to about a tenth of an inch,
two-tenths of an inch in most spots.
Now, from the Fox weather model, you see the same clearing pattern.
You see a beautiful Thursday, and then that's followed by generally
a very nice Friday to celebrate our brewers.
And then Friday night, the rain rolls in here into Saturday morning.
Now, the question is, will we be able to get this out of here in time
for some of the trick-or-treaters.
It does look to be kind of a drying-up window, if you will,
in the late afternoon, early evening.
Hopefully that holds because that won't be too bad
for the kids to go and check out, you know,
what kind of candies the neighbors got for them.
But there will still be a chance of showers.
And then Sunday should generally dry up for us
and we get a lot more active next week.
Temperatures right now are well above the average.
We'll get back to the mid-60s briefly
and then fall back down into the 50s, 40s overnight tonight.
It's been an incredibly mild October, and even as we cool down,
we're still expecting some pretty mild days ahead,
including the weekend here.
I don't see much in the way of that changing,
even heading on into early parts of next week.
Overall, the long-range trend has not only us,
but the entire lower 48 in that above-average range,
although we do get back to a more typical pattern
when it comes to precipitation.
So our Fox 6-Day Planner starting off here at 68,
dropping to 58 tomorrow night, 60 on Saturday.
Don't forget to fall back this weekend,
64 Sunday and Monday, 66 on Tuesday.
