Mushroom Julienne - this is a traditional Russian dish, Russian/French to be exact. It’s made with thinly sliced mushrooms, sour cream and cheese. It’s very rich and creamy. Traditionally, this dish is served as an appetizer in a tiny metal or ceramic individual dishes, called cocottes, it's elegant and lovely starter. I love to serve it a bread bowl, its different and always gets that wow effect. Texture under crispy and chewy cheesy top is smooth and buttery with chunks of perfectly cooked mushrooms and onions.

Today I'm going to show you how
to make delicious mushroom julienne.
In Russian it's called грибной жульен. In a nice bread bowl.
They serve it a lot in Lithuania, that's where I got the idea from.
And I just thought I want to share this recipe with you as well,
to try it out. And it looks so cool, so fancy.
At the end of the meal you can also eat your bowl, which is quite fun.
So guys, let's get started!
we are going to need one loaf
of bread you can use any type of bread you like
cheese mushrooms fresh parsley butter onion garlic sour cream salt
and pepper start off by
chopping your onion nice
and fine add the onion cut
your mushrooms add
your mushroom add some
fresh parsley salt
and pepper add your flour lastly add
your sour cream cut your bread in half
scoop out all the soft parts in the bread
and this is gonna be our bowl fill
your bread bowl
with a mixture
and top it up
with cheese
so here it is guys

that you can just eat it afterwards or nibble
nibble from it you know just
as you eat let's give this a try mmm mmm Wow
that's so delicious creamy you can taste pieces of mushrooms
and that delicious
cheesy gooey middle
the best thing about
this is that you can fill these bowls
with any other stuff that you like you
know if you like a bit of chicken in
there I had a bit of chicken beef
if you want more veggies you can put that but
