The Department of Justice just filed
a court document about Congresswoman Ilhan Omar and
they didn't call her Ilhan Omar.
No, they actually called her Ilhan Noor Said Elmi.
Yeah, Elmi, as in the last name of the man
that she married back in 2009. The man critics have
spent years saying is her brother.
When reporters asked her about it, not to my knowledge, not to
her knowledge. Folks, most of us can answer,
is that your brother, without calling your lawyer
on the phone. And the government listed Ilhan Omar as the alias.
Huh. Her famous name, Ilhan Omar,
you know, the one that's all over the campaign signs,
demoted to just a nickname. Now, I don't
know about you guys, but that's not a typo.
Typos don't come with search warrants. Then it got even
worse. Homeland Security showed up at her DC home at dawn.
They took her phone, her laptop,
her notebook, her passport, guys.
It was a really rough morning. Most of us, at worst,
we just burned the toast. Oh, and what tipped them off?
Reportedly, text on her own sister's
phone. Ah, the family group chat, great for birthday plans,
terrible for federal investigations,
let me tell you. So back in Minnesota,
one woman by the name of A.J. Kern asked USCIS
for her father's citizenship file.
Well, they searched every spelling of his name. Result,
No record. And Ilhan Omar's citizenship was supposedly built on his.
So we've now got this
whole house built on a foundation that according
to the government, ain't even there. It's like
the house is just floating in the air.
Oh, and her birth year, it changed right after somebody
noticed it. That's right. Wish I could do that.
Hell, I'd be 29 years old forever. And now Janine
Pirro is checking her finances. Oh yes.
Her husband's businesses reportedly went from about
$50,000, up to $30 million per year.
Then they got amended way back down. Now, I don't know about
you guys, but this is not a portfolio. This is a yo-yo.
And then we're hearing reports that Ilhan
Omar is now planning to move out of the house
that the feds just raided the other day. Yeah.
So now, anyway, look, you need a background check just
to coach Little League. To get into Congress,
apparently a filing fee and some good vibes is all you need.
So today, guys, who knew? And if
these documents hold up, what happens to every vote
that she's ever cast? Ilhan Omar says that
it's political and denies everything. Great.
Well, we're going to go ahead and show you the
paperwork. You be the judge. Now, if you're new here,
go ahead and subscribe. Unlike certain
citizenship records, our actual button really exists.
Oh, one more quick thing before we roll.
If you or somebody you love is on Medicare
or turning 65 years old soon, check out Chapter.
I left their phone number and a link down below.
These guys are Medicare experts and they work for
you for free. In fact, you're saving
the average senior about $1,100 a year. Sounds pretty good to
me. Give them a call. Phone number is down below in the description,
909-563-8279. I'm told that
the weekends are the best time to give them a call.
I give them a call. Of course, if we earned
it by the end of the video, hit the like button on the way out.
No pressure, one click, no passport
required. Check this out, guys.
I want to go ahead and start with the paperwork. Paperwork does not
spend. Paperwork does not do interviews.
It just kind of sits in a federal courthouse waiting.
October 21st, Washington, D.C., the U.S. District Court.
Picture a plain white building,
because of course the buildings are always plain and boring,
black ink, a court stamp. And on top
of the very top, the Department of Justice types out a name,
Ilhan Noor Saeed Elmi. Then,
almost like an afterthought, aka Ilhan Abdullah Omar.
Yes, Ilhan Abdullah Omar, aka also known as,
Yeah, this is what you write for a rapper.
Maybe a getaway driver.
Jeanne Pirro, the U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia.
Okay, Judge Ilhan Omar.
Is that her real name?
Her real name is Ilhan Nur Saeed Elmi.
You had it absolutely right.
Her sister is Sahra Nur Saeed Elmi.
And her sister actually wrote a book
and talked about the fact that Ilhan is her sister.
So that is her name.
And that name is almost identical to the name of the guy she married.
Is that what is tipping you off?
Well, obviously, Jesse,
I'm not going to tell you what's tipping us off.
But what I can tell you is this.
There are a lot of questions that we have.
And of course, you know, if if if you have citizenship in this country,
your derivative citizenship or your naturalization,
your application will turn on precise information
and you have an obligation to report that precise information.
So the question is, you know, who is Ilhan Omar and has she followed
all of the laws as it relates to naturalization and immigration?
And of course, you know, my job as the United States attorney
in the District of Columbia is to go after all public corruption.
And we do it whether we do it with police officers
or maybe you're involved in some kind of fraud
or child sex trafficking or a councilman who is alleged to take bribes
in the amount of one hundred and fifty six thousand dollars
or military naval admiral who took bribery
or someone at the Federal Reserve who is selling secrets to China.
these are all situations where we make sure
that irrespective of whether you're a democrat or
you're a republican we're coming after you
so now here's a twist guys 15 news organizations
marched into court begging to see the sealed warrant 15 guys
and the doj basically said
not yet we're still busy huh you're still busy now
the warrant isn't even fully executed
translation the feds are not done now to be very clear
to be very fair here guys prosecutors they
haven't explained why they picked that name,
but federal lawyers don't choose names by spinning a
wheel on a game show. This wasn't some clerical error.
This was a message being sent, and I would
say it's been received.
It also took 15 news organizations and a federal judge just to ask
what's in the warrant. You got it a whole lot easier.
The Ron Yates Report newsletter is
totally free. There's no alias and there's nothing sealed.
Every week, we just go ahead and pull
apart the filings and the documents.
We even go ahead and read through the fine print that the
headlines skip, all in plain English, we serve it to you.
That way you don't have to read some
boring 40-page court filing at 2 o'clock in the morning.
So, I'll just go ahead and leave a link
for you to join for free in the description down below.
No warrant required. So, whose name is
Elmi? Now, let's go ahead and rewind back to 2009, guys.
Minnesota, Omar marries a man named
Ahmed Noor Saeed Elmi.
Now, for years, critics alleged he was her biological brother. Now,
for years omar has also denied it
and for years i'm almost getting tired of saying for years but
stick with me guys for years okay this is the last time anybody
who had asked they got treated like
they were wearing some kind of a tin foil aluminum foil hat like one
of them hats is like made out of
this stuff here yeah anyway
so turns out now the federal government is using his last name as hers
now picture the hallway this week guys cameras
and microphones a reporter shouts out loud is he
your brother and she keeps on walking
not to my knowledge what like how you going not to my
knowledge a question like that guys
who was this man that was your husband when did they start
saying that he was your brother why i started
with the somali blog um uh that i don't know if it
still exists but somebody put in there that you know
that he had to have been my brother or
something to that effect you are not related to him
at all not that there's not like there's not
some weird kernel of truth that through some game
not to my knowledge this is not a denial folks
this is like a weather forecast brother uh partly cloudy
with a chance of maybe here's where the
room goes quiet guys investigators reportedly collected dna
from family members before they
even got a warrant dna the one witness
that never forgets never hires a lawyer and never says not
to my knowledge nothing's been proven yet ilhan omar still denies it
but the feds appear to be
asking the exact question that critics ask for at least a decade.
Welcome to Nightmare on Elm
Street. So you see what I did there? Anyway, dad joke.
I know. Bear with me, guys. So how did the
feds even get here? One phone earlier this year,
federal agents seized a phone belonging to Ilhan
Omar's sister, Sarah Noor.
Omar's sister was questioned by investigators as part of this
criminal probe into the congresswoman.
It's unclear what they talked about, what questions
were asked and answered omar's sister sarah
nor she reportedly lives in kenya but has been in the
United States promoting her book at some point during
that visit Marky that is when she answered
questions from investigators
who are continuing to examine Congresswoman Ilhan Omar and whether
she or her late father provided false information
on immigration documents now picture it guys a
metal evidence table, a cracked phone case,
a federal agent just scrolling through these
text messages on this woman's phone and scrolling and scrolling,
the thumbs going numb, and then
stopping. Because somewhere in those family texts
was something serious enough that a federal judge
signed a warrant to search a sitting
congresswoman's home. Now think about that, right?
Your family group chat is memes and birthday reminders
and gifs and links to these viral
cat videos and who's bringing
the potato salad next week there's exhibit a then Nor gets questioned
by investigators then she skips her own book tour event
the reason a family emergency well yeah i'd
say so that is definitely a family emergency
so is the family cracking now is somebody about to
start talking i think her sister's already
talking honestly i mean we don't even know
nobody's been charged but here's what really gets me guys
if your sister's phone had texts like that
You wouldn't be getting a book tour.
You'd be getting a lawyer and a very long Tuesday.
Quick favor, guys. You already know that one person
who says, oh, nothing ever happens to
these people. I'm telling you,
go ahead and send them this video right now. Let them watch
something actually happen for once.
October 12th, dawn, Washington, D.C., guys. There's a knock on
the door. It's not the pizza guy. It is not Amazon.
They don't be knocking on the door that early.
Homeland Security Investigations with a warrant.
They walk out with her phone, her laptop,
her notebook and her passport.
In addition to questions about what exactly federal agents were
looking for and what they found
in Congresswoman Ilhan Omar's Washington, D.C. home, new ones are
now emerging about why she was targeted in the first place.
Now, I do know that there are some
serious allegations against Ilhan Omar.
We're going to look into those. And again, if there's
a real case there, we're going to follow the facts.
President Trump claiming no knowledge
of the investigation, but once again criticizing Omar Monday night.
She comes into our country and she says, I have a constitutional right.
She's got a constitutional right.
She's telling us about the Constitution
and she comes from one of the worst countries.
Now picture it, a congresswoman's passport sliding
into a plastic evidence bag, zip, labeled, gone.
So she reportedly didn't hand over her passport.
Fair enough. I can't remember half of mine
anyway. Then again, I'm not under federal
investigation, so that's convenient too.
But here's the irony that kind of writes itself.
Few people in Congress have attacked immigration
enforcement louder than Ilhan Omar.
And so now immigration enforcement's standing in her
living room. How's that? And they're holding her laptop,
by the way. Rumors flew that she
fled the country. Her husband, Tim Minet, snapped at reporters.
Her lawyers called the raid unlawful
and demanded everything back. Sure.
And I'd like my passport back from 2019, but let's go ahead
and see who gets theirs first, shall we?
But here's the simple math, guys. No passport,
no running. Well, technically you can run,
but the only trip that she's booking now is to her
lawyer's office. Now, let's talk about dad.
Yeah, we gotta talk about father. Yes, Ilhan Omar has
described her father as Nur Omar Muhammad.
Well, Muhammad, Muhammad, I'm not really sure,
but he's been identified as, or at least marketing himself as,
an educator, a teacher, chalkboard,
apple on the desk, but reporting says
that he served as a colonel under Somali dictator
Siad Barre. Yeah, that regime is tied to some mass killings.
The other allegation is related to Omar's
father, whom some have claimed misrepresented himself
as a refugee to U.S. officials when he
applied for citizenship. The Minnesota congresswoman has long described
her father as an educator
who fled his country's devastating civil war alongside millions
of others. But an expert
scholar exclusively told The Post that Nur Omar Mohamed
was actually a prominent military
commander in the Somalia dictatorship
that killed as many as 200,000 people.
Nur, born in the Somali coastal town of Bandar Bela
in the semi-autonomous region of Puntland,
joined Somalia's military in the late 60s,
with conflicting reports suggesting he trained
in the Soviet Union or Egypt.
He allegedly played a key role in Siad Barre's army after
the bloodthirsty dictator seized
power in a Soviet-backed coup in 1969.
Nur's military career came to an end
when Barre was ousted in 1991 after two decades
of oppression.
Educator, colonel, those are slightly different resumes,
it's kinda like describing a shark
as an ocean hugger.
Now picture the early 1990s, civil war,
a refugee camp in Kenya, rows and rows of these
dusty ass tents, thousands of families waiting
for a golden ticket to America.
Now here's a system problem, ok?
programs they move families with kids to the front of the line.
Now this sounds compassionate,
because it is compassionate.
In fact, right up until somebody figures out how to game the system.
This is why DNA tests for families exist at the border.
Because sometimes the family photo is real
and the family is not. But question is, did that happen here?
Nobody's proven it yet,
but investigators are digging through
the exact 1990s paperwork to find out, and who filled most
of it out? Dad. Okay guys, time for some 6th grade math.
Don't worry, no calculators required.
Here's the rule. If your parent becomes a U.S. citizen
while you're still a kid,
you become one too, automatically.
Kind of like a buy one, get one deal, like one of them bogos.
Yeah, but if you turn 18 first, no bogo for you.
No deal. So you have to fill out your own
paperwork like every other adult. Now, the timeline.
March 8th, 1995. The family arrives
in America. Dad has to wait five years to apply for citizenship.
That brings us to March 8th,
2000 Ilhan Omar's birthday
or Ilhan Omar's birth year was listed as 1981 go ahead and do the math
guys this makes her 18 years old by then too old for the deal
and then AJ Karen in Minnesota she
makes a video pointing it out tried to expose all
of this when she was running for congress against
Ilhan Omar in Minnesota she is with us tonight
in a fairly exclusive AJ Karen we appreciate you
being here it's good to see you
um please take us through what you found out when you looked into
all of this yourself. What did you do,
and what did you learn after Ilhan Omar's father passed
away? I was writing a monthly column in the St. Cloud Times,
and part of my research
involved refugee resettlement.
And what I found is that it's fairly easy when a refugee comes
into the country, they're issued a social security number.
When they go to obtain a driver's license,
they register to vote. And I think this is what Ilhan Omar did.
She's never had her citizenship
verified, not by the Minnesota Secretary of State
or the FEC or Congress. And she's always claimed
that she obtained citizenship when she was a 17-year-old minor,
which means she's claiming
derivative citizenship.
She's claiming that when her father naturalized, that she automatically
obtained citizenship right
but it appears that neither of those two things are true and just
days later the Minnesota legislature's listing magically changes
to 1982 a whole year gone
poof now most people need botox to lose
a year she just apparently needed a quick phone call now
investigators are reportedly examining the exact question
was she listed as 18 or 17 now Omar says
she became a citizen at 17 years old.
Okay, but if it's that simple, why change the birthday?
Now, in 2020, Omar's father passed away and AJ Kern had an idea.
While Omar was alive,
Kern couldn't get her records without permission, but dad's file?
Now she could request it. So,
she asked. Then she waited.
For about a year, June 20th, 2023, a letter arrives from USCIS
and then searched every spelling,
every configuration of the name that you could
possibly come up with. Result? No naturalization record.
Zip. Not a page. And the date on that
letter? World Refugee Day. Like, what a coincidence, guys.
Like, Kern says God has a sense
of humor. Apparently, so does the post office.
Then in September, DHS. September is a rather
busy month, by the way. September,
DHS sends her an official certificate of non-existence record.
Nothing about that. The government printed
a fancy certificate to prove that there's nothing there.
Picture an empty file folder.
Now, picture somebody's whole citizenship balanced on top
of it. But Ron, that was 26 years ago.
It's too late, right? Wrong. Criminal charges may have
time limits, but civil denaturalization has
no statute of limitations. The clock just doesn't
run out. It just camps out and waits for you.
Kind of like them dusty ass tents that we were
talking about earlier. AJ Kern saw this coming years ago.
In 2020, she took Ilhan Omar to court
to challenge whether she was even eligible to be on the ballot.
The judge said vetting members
is Congress's job. So what did Congress do?
They did absolutely nothing. Yeah, no one's surprised,
not even me. A world-class performance
of absolutely nothing. Olympic-level nothing.
Now, think about your own life, guys.
You want to coach Little League? Background check. You
want to work at a daycare? I don't know.
Kindercare? Primrose? Name your favorite flavor.
Background check. You want to drive a school bus?
Fingerprints, drug tests, and probably your third
grade report card and a verbal approval from your third grade teacher.
Now, if you served in the
military with a security clearance,
investigators knocked on your childhood neighbor's doors.
They asked about you. They asked about your dog.
Has your dog ever taken a big old dump in their
yard? These security clearance people,
they ask the wildest questions and they want to know.
Sometimes I think they're just curious.
They're going way beyond their job. Some of these
questions they ask, don't even get me started.
But members of Congress, no security clearance
required. They get access
to classified information simply by winning an election.
Nobody checks their birth certificate.
Nobody calls their neighbors. Nobody asks,
hey, is that your brother?
Yeah, Republicans did pull Ilhan Omar off the House Foreign
Affairs Committee in 2023, but still, that's not vetting, guys.
This is locking the barn door
after the horse files for reelection.
Here's the thing that nobody in Washington really wants to
say out loud. She didn't get into Congress alone.
There were party leaders and staffers,
consultants, reporters, years and years of warning signs.
And everybody just kind of
looked at their shoes. Is Ilhan Omar a legal citizen?
Why is it so quiet in here? Everybody
just looking down. That's how it went.
So now there's a second investigation. Jeanine Pirro,
the top federal prosecutor in Washington, D.C.,
is digging into Omar's financial disclosures.
And here's why. Her husband, Tim Minet's businesses
were reported at up to about $51,000 in 2023. But
then miraculously, like some kind of crazy,
just parabolic stock move went up to $30 million in
2024, $30 million in one year.
Folks, my savings account grows about as fast as my lawn during a
drought, but yet somehow she went from $51,000 to $30 million,
or at least her husband did. So then
of course the forms get amended way down to somewhere between $18,004
and $95,000. Now to
be very fair, a congressional watchdog recommended dropping
the ethics complaint and a paperwork
mistake isn't automatically a crime.
But try that with the IRS. Oops, I was off by, I don't know,
$29 million. See how well that goes.
So Ilhan Omar says it's political. Three weeks before the
midterms. Maybe, but a federal judge still signed the warrant,
so there had to be something. So if
the DOJ is right, what happens to every vote that she's ever cast?
Honestly, probably nothing. Votes
stand, removing a member of the House takes two-thirds of a vote,
and stripping citizenship
takes its own court case, which could drag out for years.
Washington moves fast on only one thing,
raises. So here's another shocker.
The Constitution says House members need to be citizens for just
seven years. Senators, nine.
Now, only the president has to be born here. Changing that,
constitutional amendment. And is she the only one?
Well, from 1990 to 2017, the government chased
about 11 denaturalization cases per year.
Under President Trump, it's filed more than 160 civil
cases this year alone. Meanwhile, in Minnesota,
the administration is auditing citizenship cases
after dozens of indictments
in the state's massive social services fraud scandals. Now,
of course, that's a separate story,
but it's the same broken system here. So here's the fix.
Background checks for every member of Congress,
connected federal databases, they need to be
talking to each other, audits for elected officials,
because if these documents hold up,
this is not the end of a scandal.
This is just the start of a reckoning. Now, folks, for years,
anybody asking these questions, they got laughed out
of the room. Now, the Department of Justice,
they're asking them in federal court.
You're not crazy, guys. You were early. Now, think of one
person who still believes nothing ever happens to these people.
Go ahead and send them this video.
Let them watch the paperwork catch up.
Now, if we earn it today, go ahead and tap the like button
on the way out. One click, no passport required.
It helps more people find the truth. And if you're
not subscribed yet, go ahead and fix that.
We were early on this one, and we'll probably be
early on the next one. We'll see you next time.
