...that investigators seized Omar's phone
as part of their immigration investigation.
The Wall Street Journal says they took her computers and passport, too.
The Justice Department is building a case that would strip
her of her citizenship and ultimately deport her.
We're also learning more about the scale of the searches.
At least a dozen subpoenas served to Ilhan's inner circle.
The Times originally said her sister was served,
but a source says investigators haven't been able to find her.
I sure hope she didn't flee the country.
That wouldn't look good,
especially since the case hinges on her whole family.
We've confirmed investigators
are scrutinizing whether Mr. Muhammad, her dad,
lied about his military background
when he applied for legal status here.
Now, that's key, because Omar says her citizenship derived from him.
She's a naturalized nepo baby.
The legal term is derivative citizenship.
It only works if two things are true.
One, daddy was naturalized.
And two, when she was a minor.
Both of those things are now in dispute.
Omar Staff caught changing her birth year,
which means if she was 18 instead of 17,
she was too old to get citizenship through her father.
And was her father even legit?
The Department of Homeland Security, under Biden in 2023, did a search
and found no record of him ever being naturalized.
Ilhan Omar just told Donald J. Trump to go ahead and find it.
So they did. Monday morning,
Washington, D.C. federal agents came knocking
on her door with a warrant signed by an actual
federal judge. Out goes the phone, the notebooks, the computers.
Now, most dares end with a bad
tattoo and a trip to urgent care.
This one ended in a federal evidence locker. But here's the
twist, guys. The trail didn't start with Trump.
It started in the family group chat. Investigators
seized the phone of Omar's own sister.
Those texts helped convince the judge. Then, after the raid,
the sister strolled in and chatted with some federal agents,
voluntarily. Nobody dragged her.
Somewhere, a Thanksgiving seating chart's probably going
to be redone in pencil. Yeah,
I can imagine how that's going to go.
And of course, the feds didn't stop at the phone.
They went through the family's trash for DNA.
Think about that, right? You've spent years
guarding your passwords
and the real snitch was sitting there at your curb every Tuesday.
Cue the meltdown. Hakeem Jeffries is screaming retribution.
Rashida Tlaib is blaming everything
on earth except the paperwork and over at CNN,
Jake Tapper, he wondered if maybe just maybe
she should have paid a fine. A fine, Mr. Tapper?
Somebody said Jake Tapper in the comments of my
last video for alleged immigration fraud.
This is a sitting member of Congress. So what's next?
A coupon for the fine? Yeah.
Small problem with the whole retribution story. This investigation
actually started under Joe Biden. Oops. Yeah.
Oh, and what they found, it's much bigger than
just like one Congresswoman, more than a dozen raids,
a grand jury in Minnesota, relatives
getting subpoenas instead of birthday cards,
Homeland Security Secretary Mark Wayne Mullin.
he floated the four scariest letters in Washington, D.C. R-I-C-O.
Oh, and the DOJ
broke its own 60-day election rule to do it.
22 days out, guys. Nobody breaks that rule over an
overdue library book. Now, Ilhan Omar,
she swears up and down that she will not be silenced. These
are some bold words from a woman
who's suddenly quieter than a library at midnight. Now, today,
guys, you're going to get everything
that the media tiptoed around. Now, real quick thing,
real quick. If you or somebody you love is on Medicare,
enrollment is open right now. Seriously,
chapter offers completely free Medicare help,
real human beings, plain English, zero pressure.

I am being told that the shorter wait times are on the
weekends. So if you're not subscribed to the channel,
consider this your search warrant.
hit subscribe guys. And if you enjoy the show,
leave a like on the way out. Totally,
totally crazy. Oh yeah.
And for chapter, I'm also being advised that the average senior
saving about 1100 bucks a year.
So I'm just saying these guys are working some miracles
this year. Now for years, Ilhan Omar played the same card.
Go ahead. Look, I mean, find whatever
you want. It is a political version of a teenager yelling,
check my room. Meanwhile, standing in
front of the closet? Well, somebody checked the room.
Monday, October 12th, early morning,
Washington, D.C. Picture, guys, dark cars at the curb,
agents in windbreakers walking up the steps,
a knock on the door, and a piece of paper signed
by a federal judge with big old bold letters that
spell the word search warrant.
Yeah, not a press release, not a mean tweet somewhere. A judge
looked at the evidence and said, yes, go in, proceed.
Then the boxes started coming out,
her cell phone, her notebooks, her personal computers.
We can't forget about the passport.
Now, think about that, guys.
Every text you've ever typed, every note you've ever scribbled,
every I'll delete this later,
but you never ever deleted it, didn't empty the trash,
bagged, tagged, and gone.
Ilhan Omar called it political intimidation. Naturally, of course,
I mean, what better way to describe it?
But here's what should really kind of make your jaw drop.
the raid, that was a small part of the story.
The big part started somewhere where nobody saw coming
inside of her own family guys.
So when the next raid drops and in this town, there's always a
next raid. Where do you want to hear about it from me
or from your brother-in-law at Thanksgiving
who heard it from a guy who heard it from another guy
who was talking about this guy that they heard
on TikTok. Yeah, just go ahead
and join the Ron Yates Report newsletter. It's totally free. The
link is in the description down below.
Think of it as your own personal search warrant into
everything that Washington hoped that you would miss,
except totally legal. Oh, and nobody has
to go through your trash. So check this out.
So what was this actually about? Let's make it
simple, guys. Story time, right?
1995, a family from Somalia arrives in America after four long
years in a refugee camp in Kenya.
Five years pass, 2000, her father becomes a US citizen,
so we're told. Now, here's the rule.
When a parent becomes a citizen, kids under 18 years old come
along for the ride automatically,
kind of like a family plan on your phone. 17 years old, you're
in the club. 18 years old, you're on your own.
So if you're 18, basically you need to fill out
your own forms, wait your own turn. Good luck with that.
So the whole thing comes down to one
birthday on one form filed by her late father.
Was she really under 18 that day? I mean, this
is the question that federal investigators are asking right now.
They're digging into whether
the paperwork carried the wrong age.
One line, one number, and maybe one very expensive typo.
To all three of you, there are dual federal probes
into the Democrat squad member,
dozens of her family members receiving subpoenas
as part of an immigration investigation. Now,
According to the Wall Street Journal,
federal authorities are looking into how Congresswoman
Omar obtained her citizenship
as a teenager arriving from Somalia in 1995.
The Journal reporting that the probe is aimed
at building a case to strip her of her citizenship
obtained in 2000.
Homeland Security agents
and DOJ investigators are examining immigration documents and whether
Omar's declared age on the applications
to come to the United States were accurate.
Specifically, there's a focus on her late father's application,
which helped the congresswoman get to the U.S.
Democrats and Omar see the action taken Monday
at her home as politically motivated.
Vice President Vance says that's not the case.
We don't want to be like the Biden administration.
We never want to be like that,
where they would allow the law to go after their political opponents.
We really want to let the law and the facts drive this.
And if justice requires something else be done, then,
of course, we'll take that step when we have to.
Ilhan Omar herself is a very unprecedented person.
We have very rarely had a person in Congress
who seems to have such disdain
and such rage at the country that gave her a better life.
Now, that's not a crime, but we're going
to see whether she did commit a crime.
And if she did, we're always going to follow the law.
And now there is another federal investigation
involving Omar's past financial disclosures,
one form originally including assets
of her husband's up to $30 million.
dollars that of course later amended to just under
a hundred thousand dollars her team blaming a
paperwork error back over to you now you've probably heard
the older accusation too that
she married her own brother to help him get
into the country Ilhan Omar has always denied it but
sources are saying that this case goes way beyond both
those stories way way beyond and so the first
door investigators opened her sister's phone.
That's right, guys. So let's talk about this
whole family group chat, shall we? Every family has one.
Grandma posting some blurry casserole
photos. It's like sometimes you didn't even know
that she knew how to use a phone. Damn sure
didn't clean off that lens.
And your cousin pushing some crypto coin called Doge Moon.
Uncle Ray typing in all caps because he can't find the button.
Normal stuff, guys. Normal stuff.
Now, imagine federal agents reading it early this year.
Investigators seized the phone of Ilhan
Omar's own sister, according to the New York Post,
citing the New York Times, those family texts
helped convince a federal judge to approve the raid.
Not a Trump tweet, guys. Not a Fox News
segment family text. And this judge didn't rubber stamp anything.
Reporting says that there was a
a real back and forth with prosecutors first.
Questions, then there was some pushback,
then a signature. The warrant reportedly lists false statements,
fraud and immigration paperwork,
and a conspiracy charge. Conspiracy.
That word means more than just one person, folks. So,
so much for nothing to find here, right?
So, the evidence wasn't buried in some secret vault in
Minneapolis. It was sitting in a group chat,
right between the casserole and the crypto.
Speaking of group chats, folks,
let's go ahead and use yours for good. Drop this video
in your family group chat right now,
especially for that one relative who still thinks this
is just politics. Don't worry, unlike some family chats,
the feds aren't reading yours.
Go ahead and hit share, guys.
Then, of course, the sister did something that nobody saw coming.
She walked in on her own.
Reuters reported that after the raid, Ilhan Omar's sister
voluntarily sat down with the federal agents.
Now, here's why this matters. I mean, the first
thing I'm thinking is like, did she get some
sweetheart deal where it's like, okay, just go
ahead and rat on Ilhan Omar and we'll cut you a little deal.
There are two ways to end up talking
to the feds. One way, a subpoena. That's a legal order.
You show up or you get in trouble. Way
number two, you just show up. You just turn yourself in.
Nobody makes you. She picked door
number two, guys. Meanwhile,
a grand jury in Minnesota sent subpoenas to all the other
relatives. Well, maybe not all the other relatives,
but a good handful of relatives.
So some family members,
they got forced invitations and one decided to just go ahead
and RSVP early. Now, fair is fair.
Talking doesn't mean she said anything bad. Maybe she defended her
sister. We really don't know what she said yet.
But think about this, right? For years, anyone who
asked questions about this family's paperwork,
they got called a conspiracy theorist, a bigot,
a liar. And so now the questions are coming from inside the family.
Tough to call your sister a
right-wing conspiracy theorist, isn't it?
I would say so. Meanwhile, the feds are already digging,
literally. So picture trash day.
You roll the can out to the curb, you forget about it,
and life goes on. It's just typical Tuesday.
Federal agents did not forget about it.
According to News Nation, before the raids,
agents went through the trash of Ilhan Omar
and her family looking for DNA.
Coffee cups, napkins, half-eaten sandwich, maybe somebody's
bagel or croissant, anything that was touched, snipped, or chewed.
And yes, it is legal.
Once your trash hits the curb, it's not private anymore.
No warrant needed. It's basically an
all-you-can-eat buffet for investigators.
Yeah, I wouldn't be eating that either. But hey,
It is what it is. Multiple sources have confirmed
to me that federal agents went dumpster diving
to get DNA from Minnesota Congresswoman Ilhan Omar
and her family before that blockbuster
raid on her D.C. home earlier this week.
I am told this investigation extends far beyond the
most familiar case and accusation against Omar
that she married her brother to help him gain
citizenship or that she falsified her birth year
to immigrate as a minor. The sources confirm the
investigation involves additional family members
and will now be part of a grand jury investigation
that will go long past the election.
Remember, the Omar investigation by the Justice Department
began under President Biden, but that case was closed.
Parts of that investigation were then
reopened and now expanded.
News Nation can confirm Monday's raid at Omar's D.C. residence
was just the most conspicuous of more than
a dozen simultaneous raids in the investigation,
far beyond the D.C. area.
Now, Omar, for her part, says this investigation is political.
Recently writing on social media,
Trump and his administration have
been after me since I arrived in Congress.
I have always stood up to him, and that will never change.
Today, Homeland Security Secretary Mark Wayne Mullen claimed
Trump was not pushing this investigation.
I will tell you, we wouldn't move forward,
and President Trump didn't want to move forward either
unless we knew that it couldn't be politically driven.
This was about enforcing, once again,
our nation's laws, and it's a strong case.
Sources tell me that the likely coming indictments will
be stunning in nature
and far beyond anything the public has understood the case to be about.
The case is being run out of the Minneapolis
Homeland Security Investigation's office,
suggesting that it is more related to activities in Minneapolis.
You will know that Minnesota is home to the massive Somali fraud
investigations that are going into the billions of dollars.
Now, this technique investigators use called dumpster diving
is used to obtain DNA when search warrants were not possible
or would have tipped off those being investigated.
Once the trash has been discarded, police no longer need
to show probable cause to retrieve it, nor do they need a warrant.
Most recently, the technique was used
in the killing of four University of Idaho students
to connect Brian Koberger to the murders.
It was also used to finally track down
the Gilgo Beach killer in New York.
That time, they used a discarded pizza box to finally catch the killer,
who was on the loose for more than 30 years.
This really is not new.
It's trash DNA helped tie Bryan Kohberger to the Idaho murders.
A tossed pizza box helped crack the Gilgo Beach case after 30 years.
30 years, undone by some pepperoni.
So here's the big question. Why would investigators want
family DNA? Think about it, right?
The whole case is about paperwork. Who's related to who,
who is actually who, and DNA doesn't forge a form.
It doesn't forget a birthday. It doesn't
hire a lawyer. It just tells the truth, whether you like it or not.
So now Hakeem Jeffries and
the retribution crowd might want to go ahead and sit down for this.
Who really started this case?
I got news for you, Hakeem. It wasn't Donald Trump.
Back in 2019, a Minnesota state lawmaker
and the watchdog group Judicial Watch filed
ethics complaints about Ilhan Omar. This is
seven years ago. And then Joe Biden's Justice Department looked
into it and shelved it. Not
enough evidence at the time.
Joe Biden, not exactly famous for hunting fellow Democrats.
So now there's new evidence, the sister's phone,
the DNA, a grand jury, same old questions,
much better tools. So when Democrats are screaming Trump's revenge,
you guys got to remember the
revenge actually started in Joe Biden's own building.
And then of course there's CNN. Jake
Tapper wondered if Ilhan Omar should have just gone to Biden's DOJ,
come clean and paid a fine.
A fine? Yeah. For allegedly faking your way into citizenship
and then into Congress. Now,
I don't know about you, but that's not a fine.
That's a gift card. Try that with the IRS. Sorry,
I lied on my taxes. 50 bucks and we're square?
We call it even? Yeah. But let me know how that goes.
Rules for thee, coupons for me.
So cue the sirens, right? So here's the defense team.
Hakeem Jeffries says right-wing conspiracy theorists have
been targeting Ilhan Omar for
eight years he calls this weaponized Department of Justice
or weaponized Justice Department
whatever the heck he calls it eight years
of conspiracy theories it's funny how a federal
judge just signed off on one
but then oh by the way it was a Democratic judge right-wing conspiracy
theorists have been targeting Representative Ilhan Omar
for about eight years at this particular
point in time. There's nothing there relative
to behavior that should merit this type of
extraordinary raid,
let alone inside of 30 days from the date of the election.
And then Rashida Tlaib stepped up to the mic.
She says Ilhan Omar is being targeted because
she's a Somali, Muslim, a refugee, wears a hijab,
basically, you know, the head wrap,
a black woman but here's the thing
an immigration form doesn't ask what you wear it asks what year
you're born that's it this is the whole question target someone
that's been targeted by this
this administration for a long time uh they they use
her ethnicity as a somalian they use her as a
refugee they use uh her immigrant status the fact
that she's muslim wear hijab a black woman
all of those identities and all one woman even
though she's small i know she's tough
But it is hard for me to see her family being targeted like this.
Homeland Security Secretary Mark Wayne Mullen says that they wouldn't
move forward unless they knew it couldn't be politically driven.
OK, so he calls it a strong case.
President Donald Trump says that he had nothing to do with the raid.
And Vice President J.D. Vance calls the allegation serious.
And Ilhan Omar, she says she will not be silenced.
That's a bold claim because ever since it's
been quieter than a library on a snow day from Ilhan Omar.
well except for one thing of course her campaign fired off
a fundraising email silence has never
been so profitable so now we gotta zoom out guys way out
the raid on ilhan omar's dc home this was
the one with the cameras you guys remember
that one right now according to news nation it was
one of more than a dozen raids all at the same time now
this is way beyond this is far beyond
washington so picture a map right one dot lights up
then another one then another one kind of like
a Christmas tree nobody in Washington wanted.
And this case isn't run out of DC. It's run out
of the Homeland Security Office in Minneapolis.
That's right, Minnesota. Ring a bell? That is
the state where the Feeding Our Futures scandal led
to dozens of convictions. People stole taxpayer
money that was meant to feed hungry kids.
Hungry kids, guys. How low do you go? This wasn't some
monopoly money. This was your money.
Look, nobody's charged Ilhan Omar in that case,
but it does tell you what the Minneapolis office has seen up close.
Now, at least two different
whistleblowers inside Homeland Security
are saying real federal crimes need investigating.
And D.C.'s top federal prosecutor, Jeanine Pirro,
says that there are several investigations,
including one in Ilhan Omar's financial disclosures.
Several. Now, Minnesota folks,
quick question. How much of this have you seen on your local news?
Seriously? Yeah, I thought so.
So now, about those four letters we talked about earlier, RICO, yeah.
So Homeland Security
Secretary Mark Wayne Mullen has floated the idea of a RICO case.
So what exactly is RICO?
It's real simple. Normal charges go after one person.
RICO goes after the whole operation,
the boss, the helpers, the guy who drove the car,
the cousin who kept the books.
It was built to take down the mob.
Think of the Godfather, not some jaywalkers. And remember that
search warrant we mentioned earlier?
Yeah, it reportedly already lists a conspiracy charge.
Conspiracy means investigators think
that more than one person was involved in this thing.
So now, picture the wall from every cop movie ever made, right?
You know the wall,
giant cork board, some photos pinned on it,
some red string going from face to face to face. Yeah,
right now, somebody in Minneapolis is buying
a whole lot of that red string, and to be fair,
nothing's been charged yet floating rico isn't filing rico okay
but nobody in washington says
that word out loud by accident people in dc they used to panic
when they heard fbi now the scariest
sound in town it's somebody rolling up some red string
so look the question is who's next ask
yourself one question how does something like
this sit in minnesota for years and nobody notices
Did Governor Tim Walz know anything?
Did Senator Amy Klobuchar? How about Attorney General Keith
Ellison? Look, we don't know. Nobody's accused them.
But those are some fair questions. And
someday, somebody may ask them under oath.
Here's another twist. That grand jury sits
in Minnesota. If this ever goes to trial,
will a Minneapolis jury convict a hometown congresswoman?
That's the nail biter nobody's talking about.
So here's what should bother every American tonight.
We background check people for like coaching Little League
to get a bank loan, to drive a
school bus, but somebody can write laws for 340 million Americans
and nobody double checks the
paperwork. I think that's unbelievable.
Picture a long row of dominoes. The first one is already
tipping. November 3rd is coming pretty fast, guys.
Bottom line, nobody's above the law,
not a president, not a congresswoman, not anybody.
That's not retribution. That is America
finally checking the receipts.
Now folks, they said that there was nothing to find,
but then they found a phone.
Then they found a group chat, a trash can, a grand jury, and a
sister who walked in on her own accord.
This story is just getting started and we'll be right here
when the next domino drops.
Now, if this story taught us anything, it's that what's sitting
in your phone matters. Ask Ilhan Omar's sister.
So put something in there that you'd actually be
proud of. The Ron Yates Report newsletter, guys.
It's totally free. Links in the description down
below. That way, when the next domino falls,
you'll know before the evening news finishes
clearing their throat. And unlike the family group chat,
the only thing in your inbox that'll get you
in trouble is how often you'll be saying, I told you so.
Now, if this opened your eyes even a
little bit, hit the like button. It's totally free.
It just helps more people to discover this
information. And it helps this reach the folks
who still thinks that nobody's watching. Somebody is
always watching. Just ask the trash can.
