The report criticizes the Trump administration's failing military strategy against Iran, highlighting a severe lack of ammunition and defensive weapons. With casualties rising and strategic goals unmet, top military officials are reportedly seeking an \"off-ramp\" to disengage from the conflict to avoid further escalation and potential catastrophe.
James Kaufman, World News Report Today.
Embarrassing.
Trump basically being forced to run
and hide after a real bad evaluation of Iran.
Trump is looking more
and more like he got caught with his pants down, and I mean big time.
Straits of Hormuz are less stable than when the U.S. arrived.
The enriched uranium is nowhere to be seen, nor will it be.
And just before midterm elections here in the U.S.,
What people are seeing is that Trump
and U.S. forces were not prepared for an enemy like Iran,
which ended up getting the U.S. in big trouble
because of their lack of ammunition,
and Trump's ongoing and continued empty threats towards Iran,
which are not happening,
as they should have already happened this week, and are not helping.
If you will recall,
he said if he didn't have a deal signed by Tuesday or Wednesday,
the bombs would start dropping.
I don't know if there are any bombs to drop.
And I know that there are no defensive weapons,
which is a nightmare.
You can't use munitions you don't have.
And even the U.S. homeland is in grave danger
if the rumors on these depleted ammunitions are true
or anywhere near true.
Let's hope Trump's ego does not get us all killed.
President Trump's top brass is suggesting to disengage
the U.S. armed forces from this failing five-month war with Iran.
America's top general, Raising Cain, has been carefully working
with other Trump advisers to communicate that continued depletion
of the Pentagon's arsenal is unlikely to alter Iran's stance
in any way, while escalation is likely to backfire on the U.S.
CNN reported on Friday evening,
citing sources familiar with the matter.
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, General Dan Cain,
has been using side conversations with
cabinet officials, including CIA Director John Ratcliffe,
Secretary of State Marco Rubio,
who was really the first to leak the CSIS report
on Meet the Press last weekend, and
Vice President J.D. Vance, to ensure that they have a shared,
clear picture of the military
situation before they meet with Trump.
This is according to CNN sources. Summing it up,
one said, quote, Cain is looking for an off-ramp,
any off-ramp we can find. Last weekend, the U.S.
military seemed poised to carry out Trump's threat
to unleash the biggest attack since World War II,
but all of a sudden he called it off,
at least in part because of the profound concerns
raised by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Iran had promised
to wreak havoc up and down the
Gulf. The only ones in favor of the operation were elements of CENTCOM
or Central Command.
The rest of the Gulf states, well,
they have no defensive missiles left and we cannot supply them
with any. So they're sitting ducks.
The only other people that are in favor of this war? Well,
Israel, of course.
They could care less if we have our ass handed to us.
Now, will it look bad
if we retreat? It's going to look terrible.
Can he make this look, can Trump make this look
like we actually accomplished anything at this point.
After all, we've lost at least 18 servicemen.
We have 600 more that are wounded.
At this point, I see that there are only two ways out,
and neither are good news.
One, we can turn around and basically stand defeated
with none of our goals accomplished.
No uranium and no open straits.
or we can up our game and start using some small strategic nuclear
bombs if our inventories are as low as reported either way the world
will change for the worse no matter what our choice is what a mess
Meanwhile, Iran and Oman made their own deal having
to do with the Straits, and I don't think that the Americans
were any part of any of the negotiations.
How completely embarrassing.
And have the bombs started dropping Tuesday,
Wednesday, or Thursday as promised?
No, they haven't, folks.
If they don't start dropping by tonight,
we'll know that these evaluations of our stockpiles are right on.
God bless, folks.
What a nightmare.
Please give us a thumbs up and share.
We really need a way out of this situation.
And please say a prayer for America.
We need it.
God bless.
