Ex NBA Players Are Turning Trans And Want To Play In The WNBA!

James Kaufman, World News Report today. Well, ladies and gentlemen, the WNBA will look completely different next year. We have a ton of, well, trans men that have decided that they are starting to actually identify as a female. These are ex-NBA players or people that were cut from teams, maybe people that were forced to play overseas, etc. and we've already had four or five of them come out and say that they are eligible and that after further review they've started to feel as if they might be a female so what are we going to have next year they asked for it folks we're going to have the WNBA full of seven foot men let's listen to one of them right now explain well his thoughts I just said so you've declared yourself eligible for the WNBA uh i think i understand your motivations you're leaning into ultimately sophie's push for fairness but yet the WNBA is now going to hold uh talks over this nuanced and complex issue where it doesn't really seem complex biological men should not be allowed to play in ladies basketball why are you getting involved and how did the WNBA even get to this point you Right now, I'm just having a blast in my feminine era. I never thought that I was a woman. I've always trusted the science, and I thought I was a man my entire life. But after further review, a strong look at my personal preferences, it would appear that I am indeed sometimes identifying as a transgender woman. And I think it's only fair I get a chance to play with some of my queens here in the twilight of my career, my athletic prime. Well, and so exactly what you're saying, Royce, is just sort of unveils, pulls the curtain back on the lack of clarity in the WNBA's policies under Article 8 of their 2026 collective bargaining agreement. It simply says that only players who are women are eligible to play in the NBA, but in the over 400 page document doesn't define what a woman is. It seems the answer of what they do now is pretty clear. Would you agree? Well, you know, it's just astounding that the WNBA can't define the W in the name. And I think we're going through a very necessary conversation about who's actually eligible to play in some of these professional sports leagues, I guess, on both sides of the gender spectrum. My goal is to help elevate the WNBA. I think the ticket prices and the attendance, you know, will soar. I think the audience, the live audience, will increase. And I think ultimately it's good for the game. It's going to help evolve the game. I mean, who would argue that, you know, a player like myself or an Eunice Cantor or, you know, in the future, maybe even, I don't know, a LeBron James, you know, after he expires in the NBA, you know, maybe he wakes up one day and realizes he's a, you know, a woman as well. You know, who could argue that that wouldn't make the women's game better? So listen, I don't know what to even say to that. and we'll see where it goes but on a serious note I give you the last few seconds is the WNBA at risk of losing all the new eyeballs and fans that Sophie Cunningham and Caitlin Clark have brought to the game oh the WNBA is an example of a herald of us losing a lot of things in this country we have to secure our elections we have to restart the mass deportations we have to start arresting some of these deep staters i'm in huge favor of banning sharia law and marxism so this gentleman or I should say trans person, really does have it together. And I foresee, well, him going first in the draft thus far.
