Dollyween, George Strait pumpkins, and new Riley Green video

Welcome back. It's 837, 58 degrees as Southern Storyteller takes us to Destin, a country spin on Halloween, and it's time to bring out the rhinestones. Joining me, we bring out Tara Ward, host of 99.5's Wake Up With The Wolf. Hey there, how are you? Good morning, my beautiful Lauren. I am fantastic, friend. Thank you for asking. Good to see you. Country singer Riley Green, who I know you just love, is bringing his That's Just Me tour to Fort Worth next spring. And we're getting a little taste of what's to come, right? Yeah, absolutely. We know Riley Green loves us because he keeps putting out acoustic songs of him just sitting there with his guitar, Lauren. And I don't know about you, but I think it's quite fantastic. He just put out this song for Bartender in Destin. And I think it's like everyone's dream to meet Riley Green in a bar and end up spending the evening with them. Riley's great. It's going to be a lot of fun. I can't wait for that show. Yeah, something about a guy, just a guy and a guitar. Let's take a listen. There you go. Two thumbs up. I tell you, Tara. Let's talk about Halloween. There's this display now that you can do on your front porch. Or if you're trying to figure out, what am I going to do? How am I going to carve my pumpkin? Mr. George Strait is now helping us out, huh? Yeah, who knew George Strait was also the king of Halloween? He is so much fun, Lauren. And he put out a bunch of George Strait stencils on all of his social media. So you can literally have the most Texas pumpkins on the whole street. You can carve George out. There's one of him and his cowboy hat on your pumpkin. I just love when George does stuff like this for us. It's just a little, you know, you can say you spent Halloween with George Strait. You know, kind of. Hey, hey, why not? Why not? And how about partying with Dolly? Because I heard there's a party theme, a Dolly party. I actually had a friend one year, a close friend who sent me a bunch of Dolly Parton party stuff. It was like plates and napkins and all this stuff just because she knew I love Dolly. But sounds perfect to me, the perfect party. Well, I thought of you and I saw this idea. There's these social media influencers called Table Fit and they're party planners. And they are doing a Dollyween Halloween party. Lauren, everyone's dressing like their favorite version of Dolly. And then this may even be better. they're doing what would Dolly bring for the buffet so it's going to be comfort food galore and of course Dolly pumpkin decorating I just thought Lauren if there's ever been a Halloween party you and I need to be a part of it's this one we're there girl I love I love all the different looks that these ladies are putting onto how fun Dollyween we are in you can listen to Tara Ward with Ryan Fox on the Wake Up with the Wolf show 5 to 10 a.m. 99.5 The Wolf
