SpaceX, Tesla Merger Buzz

SpaceX and Tesla will report third-quarter earnings on consecutive days this week, as speculation grows over a potential merger between Elon Musk's companies, according to Reuters. SpaceX will release its quarterly results Tuesday, followed by Tesla on Wednesday, both after the closing bell. Barclays suggested a deal could be announced before Tesla's December 3rd annual meeting, with SpaceX the likelier acquirer. Neither company nor Musk has committed to a merger. Camelthorne Investments Advisor Sean Campbell said investors will focus on Starlink revenue growth and Tesla's automotive margins. Rex Financial's Bill Birmingham said Musk's integration of automotive and rocket technology could strengthen the case for a merger, adding that the timing ahead of Tesla's annual meeting was deliberate.
