It's Benzinga, bringing Wall Street to Main Street.
Around 2 million children will begin
receiving donated shares of SpaceX stock
through Trump accounts in December, according to CNBC.
SpaceX president and COO Gwynne Shotwell announced Friday
that she and her husband are donating more than 2 million shares.
Eligible recipients are between 11 and 17 years old
and live in zip codes with median family incomes of $57,000 or less.
Additional donations are planned for eligible children
in military families overseas, foster care, and certain Texas counties.
Trump accounts are available to U.S. children under 18
with Social Security numbers.
Children born from 2025 through 2028 may receive
a one-time $1,000 Treasury Department deposit.
Parents and guardians can check eligibility
for the SpaceX stock donation through Invest America
and track account activity using the Trump Accounts app.
