Chicago Bears BREAKING NEWS : Caleb Williams Expected to Return vs Falcons!
Oct 18, 2026
Bad on Bears fans, Breeze Nation, what is good?
It's your boy, Pat the Designer, back at it again.
Appreciate y'all for tuning in and showing love, as always.
A little bit of breaking news here on the channel.
As the Chicago Bears, per, again, right, this is the insiders.
This is not Ben Johnson saying this, so,
you know, take everything with a grain of salt.
But per, Ian Rapoport,
are planning to start the Chicago Bears this coming Sunday.
Hey, drop a bar down if you're excited
to see Caleb Williams back on the field.
I am.
I think personally this is a moment to me to see,
okay, as Caleb sat out
and has dealt with this for the first time in his NFL career,
really for the first time in his football
career, how does he bounce back?
How does he get himself back on track?
And, you know, very excited to see, you know,
the level of player that he can come back and be
because I love that Caleb Williams pointed
this out in his press conference
in between right all the weird back
and forth stuff with with the with the media and stuff like
that but i love the fact that he kind
of told us what grade of injury it was by going listen and
if there we had a confirmed tear um we didn't need surgery
so it's not grade three it was three to
four weeks so it's not grade one i would assume
by process of elimination that means it's probably
a grade two tear but you know common sense ain't always common sense
um but you know knowing the
level of pain that he was in knowing that it
was you know in some ways a tear and now having to go
out there and and see if he can be the Caleb Williams
that he was when he was playing at a
high level right like that guy who can drop back
and who can attack you deep and forces your defense
to have to play down the field
but also forces your defense to have to play underneath because
he can utilize his legs and take off at the same time I think
to me that's the player that I'm very
excited to see what he's going to be able
to do how he is going to be able to to get back to
playing his game especially versus an atlanta defense
that really can get after you let me
know how you guys feel down in the comments below man hit

leave a five-star review y'all know what
to do big shout out to you guys for tuning in and showing
love especially this week where we had all of the issues
with the channel we are going to be getting
back to going live this sunday for the game
so we got all the security stuff figured out so we're
going to be getting back to going live this sunday
for the game i'm not saying the morning breeze is
back but i may or may not be up at 7 a.m this next week
so if that is the case we will see you guys
at 7 a.m probably set your alarms to make sure
that you are there we have all our full live
capabilities uh back and ready to go
so make sure that you're tapped in with us man and big shout
out to you guys for rocking what it says you know
your boy stepped away to go check on the family
and different things like that um shout out to pk
who dropped some phenomenal videos in the time
that i was away so big shout out to him as well
but getting back to the caleb williams situation
And again, I think right now, if you are the Chicago Bears,
you feel like, OK, we got to get back to who we were as a football
team over the last, you know, over the last two weeks.
I would say you have seen a Bears team that looked a little different
with Tyson Baine under center and maybe Case Keenum, you know,
in the veteran experience and all of those things make you feel like,
you know, that was the better option for you to go with.
I'm not saying that it wasn't either.
I think when you saw, even in that Packer game,
you can try to downplay it, but the offense felt
like it started to move a little bit better.
It didn't end in great results. I think it was
too little too late. But as you see a player
who is capable of running the offense at a high caliber
and capable of playing the quarterback position
at a high caliber, you see the difference
that I think Ben Johnson can utilize.
And so as we head into this game, as much as I'm excited
about Caleb Williams being back,
it feels good that you got your guy back, you got your star
back the guy that you needed uh to go out there
and get the job done here's the reality of it
i'm still looking at ben johnson i thought
that ben johnson called a very bad football game
in green bay you have to call a better game
and i think having Caleb Williams back
allows him an opportunity especially within
the run game seeing the Kyle Montgomery guys going to be out
yet again um to have another threat
in that backfield on a pretty consistent basis and
when i talk about a threat in the backfield i'm
talking about somebody who hopefully doesn't have
to it but who can if they need to take off
with their legs get you a first down be able to
you know utilize a a running quarterback run game
in a manner that takes you from
a bad run offense that we've seen over
the last you know week to a run offense that really is
able to bounce back and really is able
to get themselves with their best foot forward again
i think that right now with what you've seen
from DeAndre Swift over the last uh from or i should
say with what you saw from DeAndre Swift in that last week
while i can look at DeAndre Swift and
say hey you know like and maybe there was something going
on maybe there was something that that
wasn't connecting maybe ben didn't like you know
the whole running back by it or bell cow back and
doesn't view DeAndre Swift
in that manner i have seen you use running backs that way i get it like
i get what you're saying i understand the fact
that ben johnson's like we don't give the ball
to running backs 50 times except you kind
of did right we saw you do this with Kyle Monunga
And so it's why I said, right, Ben Johnson,
to me, has to call a better football game.
He did not call a good enough football game
for this Chicago Bears offense in Green Bay.
I thought that you got yourself in too much trouble.
It was 20 to 7, and you got the ball back,
and you decided one run that actually got
you a good chunk of gains, and then you went out there
and you threw the football seven
times.
That's not good enough.
That's not smart football.
That's not the Ben Johnson that we know.
And so I think getting Caleb Williams back
also helps Ben Johnson become the version of the player,
of the coach that we saw, that we love, that we rock with so heavy.
And that's what I want to see this Bears team get back to.
Again, let me know how you guys feel down
in the comments below on this news, man.
We stopped off here in Des Moines to get a little bit of lunch.
So I'm going to run in here with the fam,
eat a little lunch, and then we should be back home tonight.
of course if time permitting uh i am able
to keep you updated with any news i will uh i am driving
back so we got about four hours i think back to the crib
but uh it's gonna be a fun time man and
