I'll tell you what, this morning,
did you think we were going to get that sun out?
It was foggy. It was humid, too.
Take a look at that picture right there.
I saw that in my neighborhood.
I was on my way to Tyler Arboretum
for our 11:30 a.m. show, Good Day Uncut.
I looked down when I got there.
I saw the wet leaves that were on the ground and the wet grass, too.
Hey, look at the grass.
Do you see those little water droplets?
When rain comes down, the clouds are not crying.
So rain is actually a circle.
It's not a tear shape.
We all draw it as tear shapes.
it looks just like you see right there
on the blades of grass little circles right there
little meteorology for you this evening with the leaves
are looking great in Delco look at all the
leaves on the ground look at the trees right there
and then how about some of this art i saw some of
the raindrops or the art and we'll look ahead
to this almost looks like this one's dancing
right here i'm feeling that and i'm feeling the sun that has come out
but in other spots it's
cloudy and it's rainy you get the vibe around
the region right now look at those temperatures
Big difference were who got the sun and who's got the rain.
We're a rain-cooled number in the 60s in Reading,
in the 70s everywhere else.
Looking more at the fall color
and the fall vibes in Cape May County and Bucks County.
And there is the Delaware Children's Museum.
We've also been there for an 11:30 show.
So a lot of good stuff going on this weekend.
We just got to get this out of the way, all right?
So here's these strong storms.
They're moving across the Lehigh Valley and Bucks County,
bringing the rain, that is.
We'll zoom in and talk about how that's rolling into Bucks County.
in just a little bit. So the National Weather
Service has tightened up the severe thunderstorm
warning. They're just concerned about this little batch
of rain right there. And as that moves into
Bucks County, that still has some wind gusts
that'll cause some wind damage. If you've got
some decorations outside, that'll blow it around.
Everything else you see just has some lightning
and some heavy rain. It's not causing wind gust damage.
But these storms still have the potential
with all that sun to strengthen over the next couple hours.
It's once the sun sets, that's when
the potential for severe weather and really the strong wind gusts,
it disappears. So by eight
o'clock, no issues when the storms catch up to South Jersey
and Delaware. It's just plain old
rain. And we'll see that. Watch how the reds
and the yellows disappear as that rolls into New
Jersey and Delaware once that sun sets.
So a good hour after that 620 sunset, just some scattered
showers left on the board. The cold front bringing
the storms gets stalled out. That's why we see
rain over the night. If you're an early riser,
you got some showers in South Jersey and Delaware
at 6 a.m., but then that's out of here.
It's a dry day. It'll just take some time to break up
the clouds, but we get the sun back.
It'll take the longest to get it back down the shore. Turns
out to be a great day,
but make sure these are secured because it's a windy day, but not windy
on your Sunday. But here's the thing.
All those strong winds on Saturday, it pulls down the cold
air from the north, so we're pulling down
the temperatures in the seven-day forecast. It's a
chilly weekend, but we lose the wind for Sunday,
and then temperatures level off really nicely
and the weather's looking pretty good
in the next week that is a check of the forecast on
we'll send it back over to you all right we just have
to get through tonight we'll get there
