Philadelphia man stabbed to death in Edgewood Street home

In the meantime, we're also talking about an incident that happened in Philadelphia on the unit block of North Edgewood Street. There was someone hurt, someone killed, and at some time there was a big barricade there. That is where Kelly Rule is. Good afternoon to you, Kelly. Good afternoon, Jenny. I want to show you what this block of Edgewood Street looks like right now. This homicide investigation, at least the scene rather, is starting to wrap up. We know that police were called here just after 9 this morning. They got a 911 call from a caretaker that said she showed up to work here on Edgewood Street and found the man that she was caring for with a stab wound. Police say he did die from his injuries. And when they responded, police say they declared a barricade because they learned there was possibly a man with a weapon still inside the home. Now, SWAT responded, but not long after, police say they took a man into custody and the barricade was over and no one else was hurt. Now, we've had a number of devastated family members out here today. they said they got the call and immediately came here and they have since identified the victim to us as 53 year old Mark Burton and they believe the man in custody is a housemate they say he had a shared home and he there were several rooms inside the home and they believe the man in custody also lived in this home as well they do not know what led to this they say their loved one would not hurt anyone he loved music and certainly would never ever resort to violence so there's still a lot of questions as to why this happened.
