“ICE Murdered Sebastian In Our Backyard”: Troy Jackson Torches Collins Over Fatal Shooting

Well, once again, it was Johann Sebastian Guerrero that was murdered in Biddeford. And I don't know how many people might know this, but the committee that looked at this in Biddeford, that bullet, one of those bullets went into that car seat that was in the back seat of his car. Luckily, his daughter wasn't there or she wouldn't be with us either. So I think this is a big deal that people know that they can be protected on our streets, that we don't have a rogue agency like ICE going around. Senator Collins just brought up once again how, you know, they're not vetted, they're not trained well. I mean, I wouldn't give them a blank check like she did. I mean, even the body cameras, they don't actually have to turn the video over if they think it's detrimental to the agency. I mean, there's no safeguards there. I mean, I think using legitimate law enforcement like CBP, like INS, certainly if there's problems there too, we want them to keep that. But I mean, we're seeing a murder almost every week in this country now with ICE and there's nothing that happened about it. Why does the delegation have to get together and ask for an inspection when something so critical has happened? I mean, a murder in our streets. Thank you. Guys, you see it happening here. You see it. NYPD fighting with protesters. They're trying to put the barricades up. Underground taken away. Have you received orders? Mr. Mayor, how do you explain these tactics by ICE? I mean, this continues to happen. I've certainly covered a number of these stories. How do you explain this? There is no explanation for these tactics. There is no explanation for federal officers firing this many rounds into a car that has a five-year-old in them. There is no explanation. We are standing here so close to the site of where this actually took place. And look at how many people live right here. This is a residential neighborhood. We are right here by a subway. And the pretext of ICE is, in their words, to keep this country safe. How is it keeping anyone safe to have, as you just heard from the police commissioner, individuals wearing construction vests and masks with long guns? Residents have no idea if these are law enforcement agents or if they are simply attacking someone on the street. And when it comes to ICE, it begs the question, what's the difference?
