We're here to get out the vote today,
so we need a bit of a rah-rah speech.
We need a rah-rah speech?
We've been hitting the doors in Skyview last night, we had 150 people
on the doors, we think that the thing is breaking in our favour,
and we're going to send a strong message that we are stronger together.
We are stronger together, and Canada is worth fighting for.
What should we be saying on the doors today?
and fighting for is about showing up showing up
to vote polls don't vote people vote and so
and look i'm going to say it uh two ways
um the first is there couldn't be a worse time
for this referendum uh it's a dangerous
and divided world and you know it's time for us
to come together and stand up for ourselves
and to take care of each other right that's
the lesson that we've taken
and this is an opportunity to do both stand up for Alberta
at the heart of Canada recognize
that we're all responsible for each other you think of
the examples you think of this province you know 30 percent
of the people in this province
were born and educated in other provinces of Canada they come here
because why wouldn't you
come to Bridgeland why wouldn't you come
to Calgary why wouldn't you come to Alberta to
build it even better when we have forest fires firefighters
from across Canada come here and
help to put them out we saw that in Jasper we saw
that in Fort McMurray we see it the other way in
British Columbia we see people sending us when I go around the world
when my colleagues and Corey and I go
around the world everybody wants to do more
with Canada trade opportunities throughout this province
Look, this year, since the start of this year,
our exports of grain, of canola, of beef,
are up 80% because of some
of the trade deals.
We want ourselves stronger as a country, stronger as Albertans.
Why? So we can live our lives as we want.
We can have the diversity in this province,
and we take care of each other, and we build together.
And in order to do that, rah, rah, rah, in order to do that,
for the youth of this great province we need to get people out to vote
so i just wanted to come
here and thank you for what you've already done
thank you for what you're going to do in the next
few days make sure everyone's out there marking
their ballots on by Monday including Monday
including the nine here's the technical stuff
from an organizer advance voting is ongoing
get out there and vote if you haven't voted yet please do it now
and then sign up for a get out
the vote shift because we know that people trust
their friends neighbors and families
on this stuff and we know that we're stronger
together right so you heard it from the prime
minister here everyone comes from somewhere right
and let's build this country and this
province together so we have prime minister ministers here today
and a whole bunch of
door knockers and this is what Alberta
is all about right let's bring it home literally from
the grassroots up absolutely subscribe
