Brewers Push Dodgers to Brink in Stunning MLB Playoff Run

Boy, I'll tell you what. You know what a pipe dream is? Being down 0-3 and you got a $304 million payroll and you're getting worked over by the best team in baseball. Now, look, Dave Roberts was on that Red Sox team, was 0-3, and they ended up coming back in the ALCS against the Yankees and getting it done. He knows it's possible. It's certainly possible. I've lived it. And I think the thing is is that our guys have been battle-tested. And as for that team, I was a part of. And I think the mindset has to be, and teams have been down before 0-2, 0-3, it's just you've just got to win tomorrow. And so it's an elimination game. We've played in a lot of elimination games. And we've just got to get a win. And we've got to find a way to build some momentum. And it takes all of that. Yeah, Dave, you mean one team, though, has come back from 0-3. Other teams have been down 0-3 and made it a competitive series. But that Red Sox team here. Hey, man, I want to read you some numbers that I wrote down here. How about this one here? Pat Murphy, the manager and the general manager of this baseball team, Matt Arnold have done a sensational job how about this 146 million dollar payroll that's 19th in baseball versus the second highest paid payroll the Dodgers that's 305 okay how about this they are just one game away tonight from going back to a World Series that they haven't been to since 1982. They were in the American League at the time, and they lost in seven to the Cardinals back in the day. But look at the job. There's no coincidence. This baseball team won 103 games, is the best team in baseball through the regular season, and now they're the best baseball team in the postseason. It just shows you. One thing about Major League Baseball, you can have all the money in the world, man, but if you don't have the chemistry and the right dynamics baseball is the one sport that you can't buy a championship people are saying this and the Dodgers have done 149 million dollar payroll it's insane the Dodgers payroll and they are blowing them out with no excuses man it's absolutely an insane story and it's truly one of the best stories unfortunately nobody's gonna watch when it comes to the World Series if the Rays and Brewers get in there.
