Video Summary
AI GeneratedWestchester is expecting a significant weather shift starting Friday. While Thursday remains clear and comfortable, Friday will bring two rounds of rain and gusty storms, particularly during the morning and evening commutes. This system will lead to a dramatic temperature drop of nearly 40 degrees by Saturday morning.
All right, Westchester folk.
We are a few hours away from us
seeing some big changes across our forecast.
So a few things to note is that the
rest of our Thursday still is fine,
but it's by the time we get to tomorrow.
We have a couple rounds of rain
and some gusty storms that are
going to be really just pounding.
Not only the morning commutes,
but also for our evening as well,
and that's going to usher in big
changes for us by the time we get to Saturday.
We're talking about almost a 40 degree
drop in temperatures by the time
we get to our Saturday morning.
So let's first start off where things really
will kick off in terms of the rain
so around five six o'clock we could see a couple of scattered
showers now the morning commute is mainly going
to feature rain that's a bit more scattered and
widespread but we could see a couple of downpours early around
that eight nine o'clock hour but then
it's dry for several hours from nine ten o'clock wrapping up
and then we see early to the afternoon
not a whole lot of rainfall instead the skies look
to be clearing up we'll have a shift in our
winds coming in from the southwest
but it's going to be increasing our temperatures so you can see
the seventies by the time we get
to our afternoon and evening and then on the back
end of this warm up, we're going to start to see rain
and storms developing
a line of storms, I should say,
and at the back of that is where those gusty
winds are going to come in from the north
and west, not only plummeting our
temperatures but also featuring some gusts
that could be up to around 35
miles per hour. So just be mindful as we get towards
our Friday evening. That looks
to be the worst of it in terms of our heaviest rain
and gusty storms. But even
early for the morning, you're going
to want the umbrella and at least the
rain boots as well. Now throughout much of the day,
again, we'll start to see a
bit of some breakup in terms of the rainfall.
So it's mainly two periods,
one in the morning and then one
in the evening between six and 10 o'clock. Now
for the rest of today, however,
is smooth sailing, plenty of sunshine on
top of the temperatures that are nice
and fall like and comfortable. So not a
whole lot of issues for today.
Tonight is when we're gonna start to see those
changes taking place. We're gonna continue to track those details in a
moment.
