How many years now has Sark
been the head football coach in Austin there with that
football program?
Do you know that the Texas Longhorns,
they generate the most wealth of any football program
in the country, in the country, okay?
And I want you to hear Sark making excuses for his quarterback,
Arch Manning, who may
be the most overrated or undercoached player
in the country right now you determine it um you know
i i think that he's processing fine you know again
i think playing really good offensive football is
processing playing 11 is one i think it's playing 11
is one thanks coach i think solid coach took
the name off the back of his jersey
and you said here's you know joe smith sark if his name was
Arch Smith, you'd bench his ass.
Expectations are high for him?
Expectations are high for him because of his last name.
The same thing with Shador Sanders.
Isn't it funny how we sit around and we look at Arch Manning
and we sit here and give him nothing
but glowing reviews most of the time.
And then on the other hand, when he had Shador Sanders,
people were hammering the guy
when he was at Colorado, including me.
Well, sorry, dude. Arch Manning gets the same criticism
that Shador Sanders gets. I don't change my metric.
Homie's got to win big games, dude.
He's got to perform in big moments.
Now, you could make the conversation, is it Sark not coaching
them right or is it manning being overrated we're really
not going to find that out until arch
manning either does this moves
or he ends up going on and going somewhere else look at these ball
games coming up here that you have look at these games
so you got the gators by the way you know
what the gators are the gators are like they're like up
and down you have no idea what that
football team is but they're capable
of beating them like they did a year ago then you got Ole
Miss oh hey man Ole Miss is a good football team
and Trinidad Chambers can win some games
then you've got Camarillo Taylor
and Mississippi State Missouri is a very underrated team in the
Southeastern Conference there you got LSU you got Arkansas
and then you got the Bonfire Game
Texas A&M. I mean, look at that.
You could easily see the Texas Longhorns losing at least three of
those football games. And with Sark, anything is possible.
He is not a big game coach. He is at the
biggest program in the country. And Sark has underachieved.
Isn't it appropriate to say this?
Sark's underachieved. Arch Manning's underachieved.
It's an underachieving program.
How does Texas, with all that money
and all those five-star recruits, how do they not
win a national championship by now?
Dude, I go to the guy in Bloomington,
and I see what Curt Cignetti did, going out, spending
money wisely, bringing guys in from JMU,
and going and winning a national championship.
It always boggles the mind when you're at a place like Texas,
and you've got all those
five-star guys.
there's over 55 star athletes on that Texas Longhorn football roster
and you haven't won
a national championship yet every single year you should
be in the conversation of winning the title
not just making the college football playoff
and you got to figure this out look at them where they
are now do you really look at Texas
and go they're better than Miami i don't think so they're better
than Georgia. Hell, I don't think they're better than Alabama
and Indiana. I'm not sure they're
better than Ole Miss with the coaching.
Look, if they fumble this year, I think there should be
changes in Austin. And that start, hey, look,
you can't just go 10 and three in Austin and call it
a day. You've got to win national championships.
You've got to win big time. And Arch Manning,
You've got to make this decision at the end of the year.
You sit there and you're 10-3 again?
Is the University of Texas really the place
that I want to come back and play?
That guy goes into the NFL draft.
It'll be one of the biggest mistakes of his life.
He's a green apple on a tree right now that's not ready and not ripe.
This guy needs some more time in college ball.
Does he stay at Texas?
Does he go to Ohio State?
Hey, by the way, maybe what we should do,
hey, maybe we should take him to Miami.
