One game already in the books,
and that is the Guardians handling business in Game 3.
Going up two games to one on the Tampa Bay Rays.
That game was moved to 1 o'clock Eastern time today
because of weather concerns.
Good game. Much of what you thought you would get there.
3-2. The Guardians hold on, and they take that two games to one lead.
And then, of course, coming up,
we've got the Dodgers facing elimination.
Thursday night football is also upon us here,
week six of the NFL season,
not to mention a couple of interesting college football games as well.
Joe Ranieri alongside Craig Mish, and Craig,
one game in the books here so far in baseball today.
Good game, pretty much what we thought we would likely get.
I think the total closed at six and a half.
Gavin Williams did his part, went five innings.
They didn't Dave Robertson and let him pitch longer than he needed to.
So that's good.
And they ended up winning it there, Craig.
So kudos to the Guardians up two games to one.
Cleveland's good.
They're, you know, they deserve to be there.
They had that good run to the end of the season.
They were down 0-2 to the White Sox, came back and won that series.
And yeah, like they won today.
I don't think that this means at all that they win the series.
I still think Tampa Bay can easily come back and win.
but they're very evenly matched they organize things
the same way they sort of operate their
pitching the same way and you just don't see many games where
these two teams really slug you know
you don't see two three home runs a piece
from from anybody on these teams and today was even
a surprise to get Pete Harper do what he did
so yeah we're going to be in for one here with these
two teams it feels like they're very very evenly
matched between Cleveland and Tampa Bay but you
Certainly all Tampa Bay really has to do, if you think about it,
and that's what the home field advantage does,
is win one more game here, Joe.
They've got to win one game in Cleveland.
I think they will.
And then the series would head back to St. Petersburg next week.
So certainly keep an eye on it this weekend.
