Yeah, tonight they are happy about this latest turn of events,
but they really wonder if they're ever going to see any of their money.
Let's take a look at some video. Let's talk about this story.
It really made headlines a couple months ago
when Morgan Wallen was in town
and this guy allegedly sold fraudulent meet-and-greet packages.
So, Attorney Jay Nessel filed
a lawsuit against John Klein and his company.
It's called Hailgate A2 LLC,
accusing him of fraudulent ticket sales to football games
and concerts held at Michigan Stadium
and non-delivery of sports memorabilia.
A Hailgate victim Facebook page has more than 800 members.
Victims say they paid Klein for tickets and memorabilia,
but never received what they were promised.
Nessel is seeking relief in monetary damages and civil fines.
Court orders now in place prohibiting Hailgate from selling any tickets
or memorabilia affiliated with U of M and Michigan Stadium.
Take a listen to some people who say they've been scammed by Hailgate.
I think it's probably time coming
from everything that has transpired.
Roughly around $3,000 he owes me.
And I think I post on Facebook,
I would gladly pay more than that just to see him go to prison.
A couple months went by, I asked him again about it.
He's working on it.
Same thing, he's working on it.
Same thing, he's working on it.
And it came to, I asked him another time about it.
He said he was waiting to meet the person.
And then that's when pretty much the bottom fell out.
So a couple of things we want to tell you that in no way
is John Klein affiliated with U of M or Michigan Stadium.
We did reach out to him, but we have yet to hear him back.
Coming up tonight on The Edge, you will hear from one man
and the lengths he took to get his money back.
That story coming up tonight at 11.
For now, we are live in Ann Arbor.
