IKEA and XBOX launch gaming inspired home collection

IKEA, you know, you guys know I love IKEA. One day I did a whole field trip where I just hung out at IKEA with Amanda, just looking at stuff. It was super fun. People are like, what are you doing? Okay, so Ryan is down here, and you're doing a good job demonstrating what we're talking about today. So IKEA and Xbox teaming up. All over the place. It's a new gaming-inspired collection here with more Amanda Preston, the marketing manager for IKEA Michigan. Yes! So let's start with what Ryan's doing. So he's on a funny... Oh, I'm all over it. I'm into it. I'm into it. It's kind of like a wobbly stool that allows you some movement. It does. It allows some movement. So we teamed up with Xbox. We took the IKEA designers and the Xbox designers and came up with a collection that really can fit into your home. And that stool is so great. It looks like the thumbstick from the controller. It does. Oh, yeah, it does. That's the inspiration for it. And it's supposed to give you a little bit of a wobble so you can move with your game. Yeah, so you can, like, really get into the game. I feel like that would be good for my core. I think it would be, too, Gina. That's exactly what I was thinking. That's exactly what I was thinking. And, of course, with IKEA, we have to keep you organized, too. Like, we do a lot of research on how people live, and gaming is a huge part of, like, people's everyday lives. So we want to get you organized. Not just the kids. This is what grown-ups are doing, too. Right. And, like, the furniture collection that's part of this Xbox collection is really about integrating the pieces into your home, too. Okay. So it's kind of like a spin on, like, you know, making it a fun and sitting in your home. Yeah, you don't have to hide this away. You don't have to hide anything away. There's some really cool functionality with storage. Okay, so this is a little cart that you put your gaming system on and you wheel it around with your little stool. Yeah. Right? Now, right, are you a gamer? I don't know. I am not. My little guy is. Okay. He loves all this stuff. So we have that. Now, what else do we have up here? Yeah, so that's where you can put your controller. So a lot of times players, they show their expression through their controller, their different colors, their different styles. This you can like hang on your wall or you can put it on your tabletop and just like really show off your controller. Oh, okay. I see. And you can see like some of our stuff has been inspired by the controller. We've got like the X. This is good for, you know, if you had it on your lap to hold your controller or maybe behind your back to have a little support. I kind of call it, like, my support pillow here. Yeah, your gaming support pillow. Yes, I'm going to hang on to him. Very good. And what do we have here? Sound. Sound is so important, too. And I love this Bluetooth speaker that we have. It's super affordable. You can do surround sound with this, so you can program a left one and a right one. It's good for movies, good for gaming. Now, I like this even for, I'm not a gamer, but this, see, right, this goes on the side of your couch. I mean, this stuff is so functional, too. Yes. Can I eat a chip? Yeah, eat a chip. Those are rosemary chips. No, thanks. I'm good. I mean, even this morning, I was like, this morning, I was hunting all around for the remote to turn on cartoons. And you have this, and it just goes in your little cup holder. Get your little phone charger on here, your snack tray. Everything's all set up for you. Yeah, this is nice. Is this what's on most couches? Yeah, this is actually adjustable, too. So you can do whatever size to fit on the the arm of your sofa and you can really customize it with different hooks or clips or you know all that stuff that we have when we're sitting on the couch and then we have to dig through the cushions to find it you put it right here real good then obviously that is gonna help you maybe not have a tech neck and what i really like about it is it's we're calling this our gaming toolbox it's kind of shaped like a toolbox and it can kind of go with you so you can put all your controllers your cords your snacks i got chips in here that was my last chip stick it in there and you know put it away it's all about the functionality integrating these things into your home just into your everyday use for for you and your family that is good though even for your home office you're right right get that screen seriously yeah gotta do it all right ikea by the way there's an ikea what do we call it a pop-up crossing yes we have Or a pop-up at Great Lakes Crossing. Now, would this stuff be there, too? So you can order it online November 1st, and you can pick it up in Auburn Hills, or you can come visit us in Canton, and we've got it in Canton as well. Love it. It's kind of funny, like all of your stuff. What is the name? How do you say that name, Amanda? Do we know? The important part is you have to go with conviction, and whatever you say, that is right. So we're saying XGB. Yexcoby. Yexcoby. Yes, that is the name of the collection. Don't even try and spell it. Yeah, just say the gaming collection, right? That's what I do when I anchor and I don't know anybody's name and I just say it like I mean it and then it must be true. And then you're right. That's exactly it.
