We head towards the end of the week for us here in Western Connecticut.
A few things to note in our forecast is that we do have a few changes,
but they're not super big for us. But we do have that major change,
which is going to be what we've been tracking all week long.
Gusty rains and on top of it, could even see a thunderstorm from our Friday
into our Saturday, which is going to be changing things
for us on a colder scale and also staying breezy.
But we do potentially have a first dry Sunday on tap.
So that's something to look forward to since it's
been raining every single Sunday for as long as we can remember.
Now, as we take a look at what happens for the rest of today,
it's staying dry, quiet, and on top of it.
Well, see, temperature's around those 60s,
so it's cooler than it was for yesterday.
Not expecting rain showers or even
those rogue showers that we had for yesterday,
but still going to have a little bit more cloud cover,
especially to start off for our morning.
But that clears up later into our afternoon.
Heading into Friday, so around 5, 6 o'clock in the morning,
we could have some scattered shower opportunities,
but we are starting to get a little bit of some guidance
that's showing a bit of some downpours early for our Friday morning.
So think between 6 to 9 in the morning
is where we have our first round of rainfall.
But then it dries up and clears out for most of the day.
And as we head towards our Friday evening,
close to that 6, 7 o'clock hour,
potentially you could see a squall line developing for us
and potentially some thunderstorms behind it
with some gusty winds coming into our Friday night
and into Saturday morning.
Now the winds we're expecting to be between 25 and 35 miles per hour.
And then comes the drop in temperatures.
It's going to make things not only chilly for Saturday,
but cold for Sunday morning especially.
But the rain issue is definitely going to be mainly for Friday
across the Fairfield County into our early Saturday morning.
For the rest of today, we're staying on the quiet side.
