Breaking news, guys. President Donald Trump just unleashed the federal investigators into
nine states, and apparently, somebody forgot to send the blue states the memo because,
folks, this is getting ridiculous. Congress could not get the SAVE Act across the finish
line, so, of course, President Trump apparently looked at Washington and said, fantastic work,
everybody, really impressive. Now, move, okay? And, suddenly, the Department of Homeland
Security and HSI are part of an election integrity operation touching Washington and Wisconsin,
Missouri, Georgia, California, Pennsylvania, Nevada, New York, and, of course, you can't
forget about Connecticut. Nine states, guys, and this is just where the circus begins.
Look, we got paper ballot audits, thousands of election monitors, the U.S. Postal Service,
federal judges, the United States Supreme Court, voter rolls, and then, of course,
because apparently the riders of 2026 are running low on caffeine, the Department of Transportation
starts cracking down on trucking schools that are accused of improper CDL certifications. Trucking
schools, guys. Folks, I had to check this thing twice. This is still an election story, I promise
you. But, wait until you hear the connection that's being alleged here because we're going
to go ahead and separate what is proven, what is being investigated, and what is being changed
before the midterms. Yes, the midterms are right around the corner, and if nine states are first,
you got to wonder who's next. Subscribe right now because apparently blinking in 2026 means
missing three scandals and a federal investigation nowadays. And if you enjoyed the show, just leave
a like on the way out. I totally appreciate you. Consider it your tip for surviving this insanity.
Oh, and remember, guys, free Medicare help is available for you in the description down below.
My friends at Chakka are waiting for you to hit them up. So, phone numbers down below and a link,
909-563-8279. They're saving the average senior about $1,100 a year.
Anyway, this one is real, guys. Federal agents, nine states, right now. Not some vague vibes,
not a tweet. Actual Homeland Security Investigation agents. This is HSI, guys,
the investigative arm of DHS, just got the green light to move. Where? Washington, Wisconsin,
Missouri, Georgia, California, Pennsylvania, Nevada, New York, Connecticut. Nine states,
say it with me, nine. So, here's the part that should really make you sit up. Most of those are
blue states, not swing states, not red stronghold states. Places that usually get a free pass,
but not this time, guys. President Donald J. Trump ordered this operation.
HSI agents will pursue leads, run field investigations and field interviews,
and my favorite phrase in this entire story, support timely prosecutorial review.
Now, this is government speak for, we ain't just looking, we're building a case. And, of course,
CNN's response, basically, well, this is just Trump trying to prove his own claims.
Buddy, this is called an investigation. This is how those things work. Nine states never saw this
coming. Now, buckle up, because neither did the rest of this country. And here is why I'm
watching those nine states so closely. The headline is that Trump's DHS operation has started,
but the real advantage is knowing what happens next, like whether this expands,
which court ruling changes the game, and whether any of these investigations actually uncover
something that affects the midterms. That's right, guys, the midterms are right around the corner.
And this is exactly what I break down in the Ron Yates report, not just what happened,
why it matters, what could happen because it happened, and what I'm watching next.
Because by the time everybody else is arguing about the next headline,
I want you to already understand what it means. Now, if you want that informational advantage,
join the Ron Yates report. I'll send it directly to you. There's a link in the description down
below. So, why now? Why this exact moment? Because the midterms are barreling toward us.
I mean, a few months out. It almost feels like forever, but it's not. A few months is basically
a long weekend when you're trying to secure elections across nine states at once. Here's
the thing nobody wants to say out loud. Winning an election isn't just about getting more votes
than the other guy anymore. Not really. It's about beating something else. Now, you've heard
of the margin of error, right? So, a poll says like 52%, but hey, it could be off by a few points
in either direction. Well, meet the margin of fraud, and that's the number nobody polls. That's
the votes that shouldn't count but somehow do. And this is why so many Americans want
the SAVE Act that John Thune's been sitting on. The names that shouldn't be on the list
but somehow are. And of course, if the margin is bigger than your lead, well, congratulations.
You don't just lose the election. You just lost to the system. And this is really what this whole
operation is really about. It's not politics. It's arithmetic. Shrink the fraud number,
grow the real number. That's the entire ballgame before November.
Now, I need you to meet Mark Wayne Mullen, DHS Secretary, newest member of the
actually doing something club. Yes. So, here's the move, guys. States that want federal election
grant money, money to run their own elections, mind you, they now have to earn it. What? They
gotta earn it. That's right, guys. Machines get secured. Voter rolls get scrubbed. No more
mystery names floating around like ghosts at a Halloween party that never ends. And Mullen's
working with Secretary Letnik on this. Reimbursements now come with strings attached.
Wild concept, right? Taxpayer money requires taxpayer accountability. Who would have thought
of that? Well, believe it or not, it even gets spicier. So, Mullen says Iran hacked state voter
files, tried to mess with military ballots, the votes of actual soldiers overseas. Now, let that
sink in for a second, all right? Foreign hackers poking around your ballot box. And somehow,
that wasn't the headline for two years. With Secretary Letnik, we are going to make
our security enhancements mandatory, meaning that if these states want a grant and they want to be
reimbursed to work or to run federal elections, they're going to have to implement security
issues. Just security issues. We're not trying to get into anything else, but we're saying that
the machines had to be secured and that your voter registration list needs to be scrubbed.
We need to make sure that individuals that are legally able to vote are voting. We know that
Iran hacked our state voter files and attempted to compromise, is the best word I can use,
our systems where military members used to vote. So, we're working with Secretary
Hegseth and the DOW to safeguard those systems and protect our military voters.
So, now, DHS is teaming with the Department of Defense, yes, Pete Hegseth's DOD, to lock down
military voting systems, foreign countries hacking elections, machines needing security,
and somehow, the craziest conspiracy theorist was the guy that was asking the questions.
Isn't it funny how that works? Now, if this is the first time you're hearing that Iran allegedly
hacked state voter files, well, unfortunately, you're not alone. And this is exactly the problem.
So, go ahead and send this to somebody who still thinks that this is all overblown. Let them catch
up. So, let's talk about the fun part. Can we do the fun part yet, guys? Can we do the fun part?
Let's do the fun part. DHS just got the authority to demand paper ballot audits, random samples,
real ballots, real counting, places like Maricopa County, Arizona, Fulton County, Georgia,
Wayne County, Michigan. You know these counties. They're basically recurring characters in this
show at this point. Give them their own theme music. How about that? Give them their own theme
music. Here's how it works, guys. DHS shows up, and they ask for a stack of ballots from a
and then counts them hand by hand to make sure that the numbers really match reality. I know,
it's totally revolutionary, right? I mean, counting things to see if they are actually accurate.
Publicly traded companies get audited every single year. If a corner store has to prove its books are
clean to keep operating, maybe, just maybe, the system that decides who runs the country should
have to clear the same bar. Who knows, right? Anyway, and of course, if a county is totally
clean, then they'll hand those ballots over with a smile. There's no hesitation. There's
no lawyers. There's no excuses, assuming that they're clean. So, we'll see how well that goes.
Now, look. Buckle up, guys, because this next part, this is a legal soap opera, if you will,
and somehow, USPS is the start. Now, President Trump signed an executive order. Simple idea.
USPS has to verify that the person requesting a mail ballot is actually the person who lives
at the address. Wild, groundbreaking stuff. Checking IDs before mailing out the literal
keys to democracy. Some states sued. That's right, guys. Some states actually sued. Lower courts
blocked it. Then, of course, the Supreme Court stepped in and said, paraphrasing here, nope,
Trump can proceed. Case closed, right? Wrong. So, a lower court judge turned right back around
and blocked it, again, after the Supreme Court already spoke. Now, look. I don't have a law
degree and I don't play a lawyer on TV, but I do have a little bit of common sense. I don't
got that much, but I got some. And I'm fairly certain that the Supreme Court says, yes,
isn't supposed to mean cool. I'll do it anyway for a district judge. You know what I'm saying?
It's kind of like, you know, your mom says you can have dessert and then somehow the babysitter
still hides the ice cream from you. Ma'am, this is not how the chain of command works.
Give me my damn ice cream. So, of course, naturally, blue states, they did what blue states
do best. They sued again. New York, California, you know, the usual suspects, filing paperwork
faster than they can explain why their voter rolls look like a phone book from 1997. Yeah.
So, here's my prediction. And I'm going to go ahead and die on this hill. This lawsuit goes
nowhere. Guarantee it. I bet you $10. All right. Even if some court somewhere rules against
President Trump, I'm willing to bet that USPS may have already implemented the safeguards by then.
And you cannot unring the bell. You cannot unverify an address once the system's built.
It's kind of like suing to stop a train that already left the station, arrived,
unloading its passengers, and basically is getting a car wash afterward. Meanwhile,
every dollar spent fighting basic ballot verification is a dollar that these states
aren't spending on, oh, I don't know, literally anything else, anything else useful. But sure,
of course, keep on filing. We'll wait for you guys. All right. Trucking schools. I know. I
know what you're thinking. Ron, did you accidentally open the wrong document? What are you talking
about? We were talking about elections just a minute ago. Well, guys, stay with me. Bear with
me. Hold your horses. Okay. The Department of Transportation just shut down over 110 trucking
schools. Some reports are saying up to 200 for fraudulently certifying commercial driver's
licenses, handing out CDLs to people who allegedly never should have qualified,
citizens and non-citizens alike, just handing out CDLs like the candy.
From driving schools to commercial driver's licenses, federal officials say they're cracking
down on fraud they believe is putting drivers at risk. The announcement came during a news
conference in downtown Detroit this morning. CBS News Detroit's Hannah McElree was there.
She joins us with more on the efforts. Federal officials announced a sweeping
crackdown of what they describe as fraud in the trucking industry. The effort targets driving
schools, CDL testers, and drivers. Federal investigators say obtained commercial licenses
without meeting the required standards. When you see people die on the road,
you don't forget that. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy announced the emergency shutdown of
110 truck driving schools. Officials say those schools were tied to roughly 5,000 English
language proficiency violations. Another 160 schools are being removed from the Federal
Training Registry for alleged issues including inadequate facilities and unqualified instructors.
We want well-skilled, well-trained truck drivers on American roads. And if you are not well-skilled,
you're not well-trained, and you're not well-licensed, you have no place driving an
18-wheeler, 80,000 pounds on American roadways, endangering the safety of American citizens.
Officials say the crackdown extends beyond training schools. They also announced the
creation of the Crossroads of America Task Force, a partnership between nine U.S. attorney's offices
across Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois, aimed at targeting trucking fraud, drug trafficking,
and gun crimes along some of the nation's busiest freight corridors. These are CDL drivers that
are able to drive our interstates from coast to coast, and so it affects other states that
doesn't have the same policies. Duffy said the effort is also intended to prevent tragedies
on the road. During the event, he pointed to the case of Delilah Coleman. She was in a coma for
three months, and she had a catastrophic brain injury from that crash. By the grace of God,
she is with us today. Secretary Duffy says this is only the beginning. Along with shutting down
hundreds of driving schools, they're also launching a nationwide audit of third-party
CDL testers. In Detroit, Hannah McElree, CBS News, Detroit. So here's why this matters to you,
and not just to the truckers. You see, the second somebody gets any government-issued
documentation, guess what shows up in the mail? You guessed it, voter registration material. This
is the pipeline. Diploma mill, truckering school, DMV, doesn't matter which door you walk through.
Once you're in the system, the system starts treating you like you belong on the voter rolls.
So, shutting down 110-plus fake trucking schools in one day isn't just a highway safety win. In
fact, this is an election security win with a hard hat. Who knew keeping bad drivers off the
road would also help keep bad ballots off the count? Now, let's talk about the DMV. I know,
everybody's favorite place to spend four hours of their one wild and precious life.
Here's the uncomfortable truth here. In a lot of states, walking into the DMV for a license
automatically triggers voter registration. No extra steps, no extra questions. You get plastic
and you get a ballot. Sounds efficient. Sounds modern. Almost sounds like a system just begging
to be exploited. Doesn't matter if it's a refugee resettlement case, a new driver's license,
or even a fresh set of paperwork from an immigration process. An interaction with a
state agency can accidentally flip the voter registration switch on. So now, of course,
vulnerability isn't proof that somebody exploited it. I'll say that clearly because,
of course, facts do matter here. But come on, guys. If your front door doesn't lock,
I don't need proof that someone broke in to tell you that that's a problem, okay? Just fix the
freaking lock before the break-in. It's not a radical idea. Just common sense with a badge on
it. Now, I do want to head to California, specifically Los Angeles County, home of
Hollywood, home of Karen Bass, traffic jams, and apparently a voter roll with some serious
commitment issues. Yeah, Judicial Watch forced LA County to remove roughly 1.5 million ineligible
names from its voter rolls. 1.5 million, guys. Now, this is not a typo. This is basically the
entire population of a mid-sized state just sitting there, on the list, not supposed to be.
Here's how this happens. Let me show you something, like in living color, like fire
marshal bill. So let's just say you move from California to Texas and nobody automatically
removes you from California's voter list. So congratulations, you're now eligible to vote
in two states simultaneously, forever, unless someone catches it. I think we need to fix this
problem here. The secretary of state in California, a Democrat, has to report regularly on the state
of the voter rolls. And for years now, the estimates from here in California is that you've
got millions of wrong names on the voter rolls. That's coming from California, not from a Donald
Trump accusation or anything like that. But wrong names could be a married name is different or
something like that. Well, it's more serious than that. I mean, the estimate is that there are
millions and it could be people who've moved out of the state. Right. We've had 1.9 million people,
as your colleague Fareed Zakaria pointed out, just in the last few years moved out of the state.
People who've moved address and don't re-register. And so they more than once. And so there's there
are names on there that shouldn't be on there. But that's something we can deal with here in
California, the county registrars of elections. And if you had a strong secretary of state who
really took this seriously, look, there's been progress in L.A. County where we are right now.
A million and a half names have been removed in the last few years. And I think we need to keep
that progress going. So what's up? And of course, Los Angeles County apparently had an inactive
voter list and an active one, kind of like a I don't know, kind of a loyalty rewards program
where you never actually get kicked out for bad behavior. Yeah. I'm not sure where they got that
idea from, but evidently. Now, look, I'm not saying every one of those 1.5 million names cast
a fraudulent ballot. I'm not saying that. I'm saying a list that big, that messy is basically
an open bar at a party with no bouncer. OK, so now let's go to let's go to Michigan where
Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson has evidently turned protecting voter privacy into an Olympic
sport. So the DOJ asked Michigan for its full unredacted voter rolls, you know, standard stuff,
checking for noncitizens, checking for accuracy. Benson said no, handed over a redacted version
instead cited privacy law. The DOJ sued the pants off them suckers. And of course, this is not a
one and done thing. This has been a whole saga, you know, lawsuits and appeals and more lawsuits
and more appeals and more lawsuits. And anyway, Michigan's voter rolls have officially had more
court appearances than some celebrities. Then things escalated. Who would have thought DOJ's
Harmeet Dhillon sent Benson a letter? And I'm paraphrasing, but only slightly keep noncitizens
on your voter rolls. And you might be looking at criminal penalties, criminal penalties for a
secretary of state. Now, is Benson guilty of anything? This is for courts to decide. Not me.
Like I said, I don't play a lawyer on TV. But when the federal government is sending letters
with the word criminal in them, maybe just maybe that's not a great look heading into an election
year. Just a thought. So I do want to talk about the SAVE Act. You guys remember the SAVE Act?
Anybody? Anybody? Anybody still awake? Yeah. So that, you know, the bill that would have
solved half this mess in one clean shot. Yeah, it's dead. Stuck in the Senate filibuster to
oblivion. Congress had the chance to fix this with one law, one simple law. Instead,
they did what Congress does best. Absolutely freaking nothing very slowly at great expense,
mind you. So of course, you know, these $200,000 per year salaried congressmen just sat on their
on their on their tushes, likely in some tropical place on vacation doing nothing.
President Trump's doing what any reasonable person does when the front door is locked.
He's going through every window in the house. USPS verification, DHS audits,
DOJ lawsuits, and now 10,000 election monitors deployed nationwide focused on the places with
the longest history of we'll just call them shenanigans, as I like to call them. 10,000.
This is not a task force, guys. This is basically an army wearing polos and clipboards. And get
this, guys. People are watching this story from Canada, from the Philippines, Poland, Australia.
Y'all let me know where you're watching this from, because that's where they want. Hey,
the whole world is tuning in to see if America can figure out his own elections.
No pressure or anything. Rather embarrassing, if you ask me. So here's here's where we are, guys.
Nine states, federal agents, ballot audits, USPS verification, a Supreme Court order getting
ignored, a truck-in-school fraud pipeline, a DMV loophole. What else we got? Did I miss anything?
Oh, yeah. 1.5 million ghost voters in LA County. Michigan playing all sorts of defense games with
its voter rolls, a dead SAVE Act, 10,000 monitors. Look, that's not nine separate stories. This is
one story wearing nine different hats. And it all comes right on back to that phrase
from earlier today, the margin of fraud. That's right, guys. You don't need more votes than the
other side anymore. You just need more votes than the other side's cheating can account for.
This is not cynicism. This is just where we are. So here's your homework, and it's super easy.
Look up your state's poll watchers' rules, okay? Look them up. Actually, go do it in November,
guys. Not because I said so. Because showing up is the one thing fraud can't fake. You see what
I'm saying here? Nine states, federal agents, a Supreme Court order nobody wants to follow,
machines, ballots, truck-in-schools, DMVs, voter rolls, a dead SAVE Act, and 10,000 monitors
watching all of it unfold. Now, this is not a conspiracy theory anymore. This is a paper trail.
Send this video to somebody who still thinks that this story is just about nine states,
because it's not. It never was. If today's video opened your eyes even a little bit,
share this video. Hit the like button. Cost you nothing. Helps a lot of people find this
who still have no idea. And of course, if you're not subscribed, I don't know what you're waiting
for. Maybe you're waiting for Christmas. I don't know. We've been writing about this for years,
and we ain't stopping anytime soon. So hit subscribe, because trust me, there's a lot
more coming. And folks, this is exactly the kind of story where the next headline may matter more
than today's headline. Look, nine states could become more easily, and an investigation could
produce evidence or even produce nothing. A judge can change the rules. A Supreme Court decision can
change them again. And something buried in a boring government filing could tell us more about
November than 50 people yelling at each other on television. This is what I'm watching for you in
the Ron Yates Report. Think of it as your scoreboard after the stadium gets loud. What happened? What
actually matters? Who gained leverage? Who lost it? And what should you be watching next that
could eventually affect your vote, your state, and even your wallet. Hell, even your investments.
There's what happened, and there's what happens because it happened.
That's the part I don't want you missing. So join the Ron Yates Report,
and I'll send it directly to you. The link's in the description down below.
